CHAPTER 1 - The Era of Destruction

An era of destruction occurred in the martial world since the emergence of clans called demonic clans.

The appearance of the clan made all the martial experts in the martial world form an alliance.

The alliance was a silat alliance where all the severe martial arts experts in the martial world joined forces to prevent the land of destruction.

They unified their power only to destroy one clan named the demon clan.

A war ensued between the silat alliance and the demon clan.

But luck to the silat alliance as the holy warriors had already started moving from their seats.

It made the demon clan hit to make its troops fall.

On a high cliff, someone was standing on the side of the cliff in a bad condition.

The condition of his body was covered in blood, even his clothes were torn with bad conditions.

That person was Lin Chen, one of the 10 generals of the demon clan was besieged by the holy warriors of the silat alliance.

"Give up!" Say one of the holy warriors to Lin Chen.

Lin Chen's breathing gasped for breath as his strength had already reached its limit resisting the attacks of the holy warriors.

"Damn the generals of the demon clan, it's appropriate that I feel something strange, it turns out you guys trapped me and ran away because your strength is unable to fight against those holy warriors!" Bathin Lin Chen who grumbled inwardly because he was so upset and angry towards his partner who betrayed him.

indeed among the 10 generals of the demon clan only Lin Chen had such great strength as his genius and ingenuity made his level of strength almost close to that of the leader of the demon clan.

Therefore in every action and deed of the mission given by the leader must be Lin Chen involved because only Lin Chen was reliable.

The day that Lin Chen had committed was murder and slaughter.

Lin Chen also could not refuse any orders from his leader because once he refused the order he would be killed right then and there.

At the moment Lin Chen was confused and did not know what else to do, all his strength he had exerted to withstand the attacks from the holy warriors.

"I'll never give up!" Said Lin Chen with a breath of gasps.

"Amithaba, evil swordsman, give up and realize all the sins you have committed" said the holy warrior or monk to Lin Chen.

Lin Chen was silent and did not know what else to do.

Lin Chen was also aware of his actions all along, and indeed the deeds he did were inhumane and was a heinous thing.

Lin Chen also realized that he did not yet have the strength and level that could fight against the leader of the demonic clan.

Had Lin Chen had more strength than the leader of the demon clan, Lin Chen would have fought him and killed him.

However Lin Chen's plan to leave his clan completely failed because right now it was most likely that Lin Chen would not survive.

"Even if I give up, you will definitely still kill me," said Lin Chen making everyone speechless.

"I can't wait anymore, I really want to smash this guy's head off!" Say one of the female holy warriors with strength can manifest an ice using her power.

"Hahahaha," Lin Chen laughed heartily not for laughing at those holy warriors but rather a laugh that showed a sadness and regret and an end that would befall him.

"I would never give up on anyone, I would rather die my own way than die at the hands of others!" Said Lin Chen then the sword that was in his hand shot pierced into his chest.

"I'll fucking kill you!" Said one of the saint swordsmen who was irritated and darted directing his sword towards Lin Chen.

However Lin Chen was not that stupid and deliberately threw himself down from that very high cliff.

"No! I wouldn't have calmed down if I hadn't killed him with my own hands!" Said one of the holy warriors so annoyed and furious seeing Lin Chen accidentally knocking himself into the abyss.

The current Lin Chen continuously fell down like a bottomless abyss.

"Dark.."

"Is this my destiny?"

"Am I born a murderer? And my destiny is to die as a murderer?"

"I don't really want a life like this.."

"If I still have a chance.."

"But it's an impossible dream.."

"This is the end of my life.."

In darkness..

Lin Chen who had initially felt a void, suddenly felt his body as if it was starting to feel moving again.

The nerve nerves in his body were like normal again and there was no pain whatsoever felt by Lin Chen.

"Have I been in the afterlife?"

Lin Chen then slowly opened his eyes.

When Lin Chen opened his eyes the first thing he saw from his long blackness was such a bright light.

Lin Chen seemed to see such a bright light and again closed his eyes.

However Lin Chen did not give up and reappeared trying to open his eyes but in a slow manner.

Slowly the light faded.

Lin Chen saw something that was clearly visible for a long time.

The first glance Lin Chen saw was a room.

"It's..."

Lin Chen saw clearly and remembered what room he was in at the moment.

"Wait on! This was my room when I was a baby!" Lin Chen finally recalled that the room he was in now was his room when he was a baby.

"Is the afterlife like this?" Bathin Lin Chen looked at his surroundings so clearly.

Lin Chen also tried to get up from his bed but was hard because his hands and feet were short due to his small body.

"Ah is right! Is this a dream or what?! Why does it all feel real!"

Lin Chen grumbled and tried to get up from his place, but it was very difficult for Lin Chen to stand up.

Lin Chen rolled on his bed then crawled up and tried to move.

Finally Lin Chen could see the area of the entire room and sure enough it was his room as a baby.

"Is this really real or just a dream?"

Lin Chen was confused and dizzy and asked if this was reality or just an illusion.
