Chapter 4. But the Ghost Exists

New night is approaching. The red sky in the western horizon had just disappeared. Aline and Mitha were standing on the balcony. They looked at the sky horizon. The natural landscape of Lawu slopes looks so beautiful under the flickering stars in the night sky.

But before long a thick black cloud was marching around her. The light disappeared changed the night wind that felt cold piercing the bones. Now that looks changed the flickering scenery of Solo City lights under the black sky.

"Hmm, cold! Dark clouds also began to come. I hope it's not midnight" said Aline, wrapping her jacket.

"Yes, I hope we are lucky tonight to enjoy the turn of the year in a bright atmosphere. And he doesn't bother us anymore" Mitha said.

"Who, Mith? Elizabethan ...?" Aline turned towards Mitha.

Mitha looked far away. His gaze seemed to pierce through the thick overcast scroll and wanted to bring it to light as well the mystery of the dimly lit, black haired girl that appeared in his view.

"Zaskia, or whoever she is. I don't want him to interrupt our holiday" Mitha replied.

Mitha turned to look at Aline with a smile. But the smile still left me wondering who the girl was and why this had to happen.

"Hmm, forget about Zaskia. Didn't he explain everything to us about who he was? Zaskia is like us too. Now let's have fun enjoying our holiday in this White Villa," Aline calmed Mitha down. Mitha simply nodded and returned smiling.

Not everything has been revealed to me. This may even be just the beginning. May there be no other Zaskia, Mitha said in her heart.

Aline pushed her body slightly over the balcony wall because she heard singing accompanied by a guitar. Jacky and Sam were singing while dancing happily on the grass in the front yard of the villa. Aline chuckled at the behavior of the two friends.

Mitha turned to her and felt astonished. "What's up, Lin? You're laughing at my attitude?" ask Mitha.

"No, Mith. But look, the behavior of two of your friends" Aline replied, pointing down the balcony. Mitha immediately thrust her body like Aline. Instantly, his laughter exploded.

"Ayook, spirit!" yell at them both. Hearing that shout Jacky and Sam were silent for a while and raised their heads up.

"Ayook's coming!" they said in unison then returned to singing while dancing.

Suddenly a gust of cold wind hit the bodies of Aline and Mitha who were on the balcony. Mitha immediately tightened her jacket. But the cold air still felt through the pores of his skin. Until he had to close both palms then lifted attached to the tip of his nose. Slowly he breathed warm air from his mouth.

"Cold gini gets hungry. Down, yuk! Nengok Lusy with Yuli who was cooking," Aline asked as she turned her body and then stepped off the balcony.

"Yep ...! Hopefully it's ripe," Mitha said following Aline's steps. They immediately entered his room and closed the balcony door. For a moment they were in the room to tidy up the bed and clean the packages of snacks.

"O yeah, where's Zaskia?" mitha asked while taking her remaining snack pack one then proffered to Aline. Aline opened the package and ate it immediately.

"Okay, Mith. He helped Lusy and Yuli with their belongings that were still left below. Maybe now is helping with cooking in the kitchen" Aline replied.

While downstairs, the laughter of Wawan, Dodo, and Budi makes the atmosphere of the kitchen space so cheerful. Yuli and Lusy were preparing rice with a flour fried chicken menu. Soon ready to be served. While their three friends prepare charcoal with a grill place and spices for corn grill. They plan to burn corn in the front yard of the villa to welcome the turn of the year later tonight.

Their joy seemed to have forgotten the fear of the mysterious incident experienced by Mitha this afternoon. Until a while they dissolve in laughter in the middle room. The White Villa's living room is a dining room that blends with the kitchen. Shortly afterwards Dodo who was carrying a charcoal grill and was about to get out of the living room was surprised and reflexively threw his grill. It floated in the air. While the three of them have finished cleaning up the charcoal that was scattered. Dodo and Wawan sat straightening their legs on the floor. While I saw Budi standing up while sighing long. "Wait a minute, Lin. I heard Zaskia was going to talk about ghosts" Mitha said.

"Is this related to you and this villa, Zaskia?" mitha continued while looking over and looking at me deeply. While I just nodded again.

I still can't get a view of Zaskia. I felt like I was blocked by a thick enough wall. Did he deliberately block my view? Hey Mitha, weren't you the one who was threatened not to obstruct that shoulder-haired girl? Then Zaskia is the girl! Really ...? I have not found the common thread of this incident, Mitha said in her heart.

"So I saw a dark-colored ghost before Zaskia came here. I suspect the ghost is always with him" said Dodo.

"Zaskia, continue your story about this White Villa. What do you know all this time?" ask Mitha.

The clockwork sound of the wall was like racing against the heartbeat of the people inside the White Villa. I looked into the eyes of Aline and Mitha alternately standing before me.

"About the ghosts in this White Villa ...," I repeated my words.

At that moment Mitha was completely shocked and unexpected by what happened. Suddenly Zaskia raised her head. Her hair was blushing again and her face was right in front of Mitha's face.

Mitha flinched! His heart stopped beating and his chest felt tight to breathe. When you see Zaskia's facial skin turns into broken peeling. His eyes were whitened and his black hair extended out in a mess.

"I've been waiting for his arrival!" There was a sound echoing in the middle room of the White Villa.

After that Mitha quickly pulled back her head. But his eyes gradually darkened. And she fell down on Aline's lap beside her.
