Two cars enter the White Villa yard at an altitude of 1800 masl on the slopes of the Lawu Mountains. Where I lived for a while since five years ago. I'm a woman. I am less than twenty years old. There I live alone. I helped Mr. Lynn to guard the villa. Mr. Lynn lives in his own home with his family.
Actually Mr. Lynn is the villa's guardian as well. There were several villas that he guarded on the slopes of this Lawu Mountain Range. And from his job, Mr. Lynn got a salary to support his family. I think Mr. Lynn is a good man. He was the one who helped me out of the tragic event that caused me to lose everyone I loved five years ago. At that time I didn't know where to go. Until Mr. Lynn came to my aid and allowed me to stay in this White Villa until I found a more worthy place for my next life.
Soon a mature girl got off the car followed by several men and women of her age. The girl threw a glance around him. Then I saw him talking to his friends. While I was still standing in front of the window of the second-floor room that was open glass and half curtain. I could see them and hear the conversation clearly.
"May you fit in and be at home here" said the first girl to go down to her friends.
The girl had straight black hair with a length of almost waist-length. The eyelashes are lentic and there is a mole on the top end to the right of her lips. Makes many pairs of eyes not bored looking at the face of his face.
She named Aline, the daughter of the new owner of the White Villa, according to the characteristics that Mr. Lynn had told me before his arrival with his entourage here.
"City ...." He was called by a girl standing next to him. Aline.
"Why are we going to this villa? Not to your father's villa that we used to use?" ask the girl.
"O yes, Mitha. I haven't told you, yeah. This is my father's villa" Aline replied.
Mitha was Aline's best friend since High School. They are like siblings. Now Aline and Mitha are sitting in the same college final semester. They and six college friends plan to enjoy a year-end vacation at Aline's father's villa in Tawangmangu. A tourist spot on the slopes of Lawu Mountains.
With two cars they left from Solo City. When the sun slips to the west, they just arrived at the Karangpandan Terminal. There were still twenty-five more kilometers of distance they had to travel to arrive at the White Villa. Dense roads creep up making them take longer to get there.
Because many cars and motorcycles with the same purpose, namely to Tawangmangu during the holiday later this year. Not like other holidays. They want to enjoy the atmosphere of the turn of the year in a place with a height of approximately eighteen hundred meters above sea level.
"Well, new villa, huh?" mitha asked back.
"Hmm, the villa is new but old" Aline replied with a smile, "the old villa that my father later renovated. Three years ago the owner sold at a relatively cheap price" he continued.
"Keep your old father's villa?" mitha asked back.
"It has been sold to cover the cost of renovating this White Villa. According to my father, the view and atmosphere of this place is better and more comfortable."
"Oo, I see," Mitha said as she observed Aline's father's new villa.
Ever since I got out of the car, I feel bad. What's wrong with this White Villa? mitha asked in her heart.
Mitha then watched her surroundings closely. Suddenly his breathing was a little heavy and his eyes became glare. He saw the bodies of his friends glowing dazzling white and one by one disappearing from before him. There are only two male friends.
While Aline, in Mitha's view, the look of ayu and her body turned into disfigured. His hair also became a mess. His entire skin was as if it was slashed and flaking. Mitha heard Aline scream in pain then moved quickly towards her.
"No ...!!!" mitha's screams are held back. He wanted to dodge but his body could not be moved. Mitha then covered her ears with both hands. While his eyes were tightly closed. His body is a little shaky.
"Mitha! You why?" Aline held onto Mitha's body in order not to fall.
"No! Thats okay! I'm just a little dizzy" Mitha replied.
"No way! You must be lying! What do you see here?" ask Aline.
A moment later Mitha opened her eyes. How surprised he was when he saw the girl with the broken face and body right in front of his nose. It was clearly visible in Mitha's eyes the skin on the girl's face was not only peeling but was completely rotten and flaccid. Some maggots seemed to be twitching within his flesh. The stench and rancid blood entered the nose piercing the nerves in Mitha's head. Until he felt nauseous and vomited his stomach.
"Mith ... Mitha! Did he hurt you?" ask Aline again. Mitha just shook her head.
"Jacky! Sam! Help me get Mitha! Take him inside. I'm afraid she's why-why!" Aline's panicking. And so are his friends. Jacky and Sam immediately helped hold both of his arms.
"Come, Mitha! I helped walk. We're resting inside, "pick up Sam.
"No need. I am still strong to stand," Mitha said in a weak voice.
Mitha then ventured to look at the girl who was still in front of her. With the bodies supported by his two friends, he slowly raised his head.
As Mitha looked at the girl, the girl's face and body had turned normal. But not Aline's face anymore. It appeared to him that a shoulder-haired girl was in front of him with a blank look. Seen dimples on both cheeks. Suddenly the romance of that face turned full of anger. His eyes glared sharply.
I want to be free. I've been here a long time waiting for them. Don't block me! said the girl with an echoing voice that only Mitha could hear. They also communicate telepathically which can only be heard by the two of them.
Who do you mean? Are they my friends? ask Mitha. The angry face was silent for a moment, then ...
Don't block me, don't block me! I will demand revenge! said.
Demanding reply? On whom? ask Mitha.
But the angry face still did not answer. A moment later, they were silent and looked at each other.
"Si ... Who are you?" With a weak voice Mitha ventured to ask the dimpled girl.
Aline who was in front of Mitha and saw the look in her eyes, felt that the question was directed at her. "I'm Aline ... Mitha! It's me!" aline replied while holding Mitha's hands.
"Mitha, what do you see in me? Wake up Mitha ...!" continued Aline. Her tears seemed to flow worrying about her friend's condition.
While Mitha was still staring at the angry face of the dimpled girl. Then slowly his eyes on the girl faded. And changed Aline's face. Mitha took a long breath.
"Aline ...," he said.
"Yes, Mitha ... Its me. Are you conscious? Thank goodness! I'm really worried about your situation" Aline said as she wiped her tears.
Back Mitha let out a long sigh then nodded. Knowing that Mitha had recovered, Jacky and Sam took off their hands. They and other friends were confused by the incident Mitha had just experienced.
"So you were talking to something invisible. Can you see ghosts?" ask Jacky.
"Yes, Mith, even you screamed in fear. What did you just see? Can you see ghosts?" sam was also curious.
"Look, Mitha can see and communicate with ghosts. That ability has been around since she was a child" Aline said.
Mitha just nodded. Then it said, "There's something with this White Villa. I don't want anything bad to happen to us while we're here."
"Aline, I'm scared, nih! We can not move to another villa, "followed one of the female friends.
"No need! I'm sure it was just Mitha's hallucination. Maybe he's smoky." Jacky disagreed.
"Yes, right. Cook we'll lose to ghosts?" Sam supports.
Suddenly Mitha's eyes seemed to be dragged towards the window of the room on the second floor. But he only saw the curtains and the window shut itself.
"What's up Mith?" ask Aline.
"It's like there's someone behind the top room window" Mitha replied.
"Maybe he's Mr. Lynn. The person who was given the responsibility of taking care of this villa," explained Aline.
"Well, there's nothing to worry about. Then we stay at this villa" Jacky made a choice.
While Aline looked at Mitha to ask her opinion. Back Mitha felt a strangeness on her body. He seemed powerless to hold back his head.
I .. I can't control my own body. What the hell happened to me? mitha asked in her heart.
Don't block me! That sentence sounded again echoing in Mitha's head cavity.
