Karma 2 (Najwa Humaira)
Chapter 52: The Leaf of the Midwifery

A week has passed from Azzam and Bella's recognition of the Emir's identity. Today the kids went back to school. So also with Abil who must prepare to become a gardener. The three of them set off using a car that has now been used as the main vehicle to travel.

"Uncle, seriously still want to be a gardener? Kan best graduates of Cairo, certainly can be a favorite teacher loh." said Emir tease Abil who was busy driving.

Wawa smiled hearing how the Emir tried to heat their uncle's heart. After a storm that nearly destroyed their families. God generously provides opportunities to love one another as a whole family.

But when considering the Emir's request. I don't know why his heart was getting so agitated. The promise he had given seemed like it could be a farewell someday. Is the decision made right? Confused but now can only pray all is well. Aamiins.

Touching the shoulder of the brother who looks so silent, "Ka Wawa daydreamed, huh?"

"Not really, De. Brother was just preparing himself before going down to the battlefield. He-he-he." he answered without weighing on the heart of the dilemma that expressed doubt.

"You should avoid kids who like to make trouble. I wonder, why children today if talking like not controlled." said Abil who listened to the chat brothers.

"Patience, Uncle. His name is human, we can be patient. God is getting stronger from within the soul. Forgiveness does not mean losing, sincere to be grateful." reply Wawa did not want to comment more about his school friends.

Cars enter the school area but as usual will be parked across the front stall of the school which is wide enough to be occupied by a real four-wheeled vehicle. One by one down, then walked towards the gate that looked high from where they were.

The Emir's hand, "Where's your bracelet?" Eye gazes scanned the wrists of the younger brother who was not wearing Abi's bracelet. "Don't say leave, De."

"I forgot it was not off fitting kebelet, Ka." said Emir regretfully but suddenly Abil released his necklace hidden behind a shabby shirt. It was placed on the neck of the nephew. "Uncle, what is this?"

A black thread necklace that had a round flaked cloth pendulum was now circular adorning the Emir's neck. Of course it was hidden inside the uniform so that no one would see. "His name is an antidote necklace made of Arabian bidara leaves."

The man was grateful that his nephew had extensive science. "We're right, Wawa. Bidara itself has several types including Bidara Laut (Ziziphus mauritiana), Bidara China (Ziziphus zizyphus) and Bidara Arab (Ziziphus spina-christi). Bidara used to ward off the interference of magic/jin in the procession of the rukyah and other needs as the sunnah of the prophet is the Arabian Bidara (Ziziphus spina-christi, because He (Prophet Muhammad SAW) used this bidara in the area of Mecca and Medina."

The Emir and Najwa listened carefully to Abil's explanation because it was important for those who often came into contact with supernatural beings. It is very useful for anticipation. Maybe it should be in their bag filled with bidara leaves.

Abil also explained some examples of the use of bidara leaves which is quite an additional science for the two teenagers. Where the man explained one common problem for women. That is when going to do a mandatory bath after passing the periodic period.

"This bidara leaves are also used for bathing junub for menstruating women who want to wash. Hadits ‘Aisyah that Asma\` bintu Syakal asked Nabi shollallahu ‘alaihi wa ‘ala alihi wa sallam about bathing Haid, then Nabi shollallahu ‘alaihi wa ‘ala alihi wa sallam replied :

“Must one of you take water and bidara leaves then wash perfectly then water his head and interrupt him hard to the bottom of his hair then flush his head with water. Then take a piece of cloth or something like that - a piece that has been given fragrance and then he sanctified with it. Then Asma\` asked again: “How do I wash with it?”

"Prophet answers : “Subhanallah, wash with him”. Said ‘Aisyah : “As if Asma` does not understand that, then follow (wash) the traces of blood (**********)”. HSRS. Muslim. So, now you understand, right?" tanya Abil ended the explanation about bidara leaves.

The sound of school bells resounded to the outside of the fence, making the two children pat their eyebrows in unison. Then he pounced with a flash of salim that made Abil chuckle softly but he also had to hurry because he would definitely get a reprimand.

Footsteps walk quickly down the spacious courtyard of the school with cold weather. He knows and feels the presence of invisible beings who keep their distance from him. It must be because of the circular bracelet on his wrist.

"Assalamu'alaikum, I'm sorry I'm late, sir" said Abil knocking on the teachers' office door politely, making some teachers turn to him.

A middle-aged man came over to Abil with a sour face like he had not been ironed. "New gardener, huh? How can you not be on time? You should have come earlier than the teachers. Clean class, toilet, hallway and etc. This is even seven o'clock new nongol. Want to eat blind pay?"

"I'm sorry for my negligence, Mr. Mahmud. I will not repeat it again." replied Abil without bowing his gaze because he admitted the mistake and not the middle of self-defense.

Mahmud pushed the shoulder of the man in shabby clothes in front of him. "So that person should be self-conscious. Dateng just direct the work ...,"

"Assalamu'alaikum, sorry why is there such a commotion in front of the office so early? Aren't you ashamed?" scold someone from behind who distracts everyone. His eyes were stunned in disbelief when he saw the familiar face. "Mas, are you here?"
