Chapter 42: Who?
"My phone's gone, Mas. Can I borrow a cell phone to contact relatives?" ask the Father politely and immediately approved.
The food delivery driver gave his cell phone to the father. The thirty-year-old man did not suspect anything even like he was used to helping people who were accidentally struck by disaster. Meanwhile in Abi's room there were only glances between the sisters.
The phone has been checked from all message and call history but nothing suspicious. Abil has even analyzed data with his intelligence in the field of IT. But the owner of the phone always has a strange habit that every day will restart flat objects data storage.
"Abil, do you remember that father?" azzam asked after trying to remember something and somehow he realized something was missing.
Abil frowned raising his eyebrows. A moment did not understand the direction of the purpose of the brother, then he also realized the arrival of the fathers whose brother just like not knowing. But at the end of the voicemail there was a little doubt with a firm tone that said trust should take precedence. It was as if Abi was harboring a load of thoughts that could not be conveyed. A disappointed voice that made Abil aware of something strange. Just why doesn't brother-in-law understand what he understands?
"Ka Azzam, try to replay Abi's voice with his last advice." pinta Abil made Azzam perform without asking.
The recording was played again and again until Azzam looked up to look at his sister. Why did the young man ask for the same thing at such a regular time? I have heard the recording more than five times. Weird right? The eyes clashed with each other trying to trace what was not said through the lips.
"Abi wants us to trust each other, it means there is someone present to create a storm within our family. Didn't Ka Azzam realize that?" abil asked while holding his breath because of mixed emotions. His feeling suddenly agitated feeling uneasy.
He felt their chatter was monitoring but maybe it was just his feelings. Azzam tried to digest his words. The older brother was still so late in grief that he was caught up in a narrow thought. Silence awaited an answer but a busy glance circulated until he caught a glimpse of a shadow standing beside the door.
