Jamu Gendong - Young Widow Gebetan Brondong
Chapter 5. Find Help

The phallus walks through the forest around the waterfall. One of the tropical rainforests with lush and heterogeneous trees that become one of its characteristics. The phallus tries to get a little out of the forest area, because usually he will meet some residents who are looking for firewood or honey from the honeycomb found in this forest. Almost an hour Lingga walked through the forest until in the end, the two neutrals caught the shadow of several human figures who were looking for wood.

"Loh Linga? Why are you in this place? What are you doing here, Ndhuk?"

Lingga smiled with relief because in the end, he was able to meet Prasojo who is a kamituwo in his residence. Kamituwo is almost the same as a village head where he has the task to lead a village or hamlet.

Actually called by the name ndhuk, make Lingga feel tickled. The ndhuk call is only appropriate for unmarried women. But she already has a husband. It is inappropriate to be called ndhuk.

"Pak Pras, I met one of the climbers who seemed to fall from the waterfall. Now he was under a waterfall and could not move his body. Can Mr Pras help me get that climber out of there?"

Prasojo and one of his friends looked at each other. What the Linga said was so hard to believe. How can a person still survive after falling from a waterfall? For Prasojo and others it is an impossibility.

"You're not avoiding Ndhuk? How could the climber still survive if he fell from the waterfall? Lest the one you meet is not a human figure Ndhuk? But the genie figure that incarnates like a human?"

"I used to think that way too, sir, but after I tried to communicate with that person, I'm more and more convinced that he's human like us and not a genie or any other invisible creature."

Seeing the expression of Lingga's face, making Prasojo and his friend seem to increasingly believe that what was spoken by this woman was not making up. Prasojo and his friend both nodded their heads as a sign that they were willing to help a climber who was found by Lingga.

"You said that the man couldn't move his body, Ndhuk?" prasojo asked.

The phallus nodded its head. "Yes sir, he can't move his body. I'm afraid he's broken a bone, so he's paralyzed."

Prasojo was seen racking his brain looking for a way to get the climber out of there. The look in his eyes seemed to be flashing until it finally stopped on the rope carried by Parmin, his friend.

"Min, give me that rope!" prasojo's edict pointed at the rope above Parmin's sack.

"What's this rope for, sir?" parmin asked with a face filled with question marks but handed over the rope.

Parmin can only smile clumsily while scratching the tip of his nose that does not itch. "How can I attend scout activities, sir? Even for school alone I never."

Prasojo chuckled softly, he just remembered that Parmin had never been educated. "Ahahaha yes, I forgot that you never went to school. I told Min, in an emergency, that rope you can use to make a stretcher which we can use to take the climber out of this place. Understood?"

Although still overwhelmed by some questions about how this rope can be transformed into a stretcher, but Parmin still nodded his head. It seems, it doesn't want to be considered long loading about things like this.

"Yes sir, I understand."

Prasojo linked his gaze towards Lingga. The middle-aged man only smiled knots catching the distress signal implied on the face of one of these citizens.

"Ndhuk? You're doing okay, right? Why do you look so worried like that? Are you afraid something will happen to the climber?"

Linga gasps. Hurriedly he shook his head as a sign of disagreeing with what Prasojo said.

"Ah, that's not how it is sir. We better get there. I'm just worried if the climber collapses again."

"That's the name you're worried about that man Ndhuk" Prasojo explained as he chuckled softly.

Prasojo took a squatting position. The man took two sticks of wood and made knots to become a stretcher. Not long after, the emergency stretcher was so and ready to transport the body of the climber.

"A ready. Let's help the climber!"
