One Month Later..
Time continues to roll leaving traces of memories that have been created. Likes, sorrows, cries, laughter all framed beautifully in one sheet of life that becomes a story in every walk of life. Every good is a reason to be grateful, while every bad is a valuable lesson to move forward. Black and white always retain wisdom in life.
Banyu stared fixedly at a building standing before him. His lips are endlessly smiling. There is a sense of happiness that rises, in the end he can do something for someone who he considers the most meritorious for his life while in the city of Jogja.
The house that Pak Kardi has now looks much more worthy to live in. The walls that previously looked rough, now are smoother with the process of beraci and also paint-painting. Not to forget, Banyu built a building that is quite spacious to become a refillable depot of mineral water. That way, Pak Kardi does not need to tire of pedaling rickshaw to connect his life.
"Good Way!!!"
The voice of someone coming from behind his back, made Banyu slightly jerked. He looked back and saw that Pak Kardi had approached him.
"Yes sir?"
"Father no longer knows what to say to thank you, son. Because you are the quality of life of this father is much more assured."
Kardi stared at Banyu's face with a pat on the young man's shoulder. His heart was completely touched by what Banyu had done. Though he only gave shelter as long as Banyu was in the city of Jogja but this young man returned with thousands of kindness.
Banyu reviewed a little of his smile. "Mother should not thank me. Because I should be the one to thank you. I can't imagine what it would be like if I didn't meet a nice guy like Mr. Kardi in this town."
"But this is all so overrated Good."
"No sir, even this is still not able to repay all the good Mr. Kardi gave me a ride of life. This is a small thing I can do to thank Mr. Kardi and to realize what the late wife and son of Mr. Kardi dream of."
The two eyeballs of Kardi heat up and then form dew points there. He hugged the young man's body tightly.
"Thank you so much Good, thank you. You can not reciprocate with anything other than prayer, may your life be filled with blessing and happiness, and surely you will soon be united with the Lingga in a marriage bond."
Banyu nodded his head in the arms of Kardi. "Amijin ... Thank you Sir. Those are the prayers that I hope for."
Kardi broke her embrace and stared intensely at this young man's face. "Then, are you going back to Jakarta, son?"
Banyu shook his head while smiling faintly. "No Sir. I changed the original plan. I plan to bring my parents here to be able to directly meet with Lingga. Even if Lingga wants to, I will hold a wedding in this city. It doesn't feel like it needs to linger anymore. So maybe three days after my family arrives in Jogja, I will marry Lingga immediately."
A wide smile expands on the lips of Cardi. He was happy to hear of Banyu's plan. At least if the wedding was held here, he could still see the young man find his happiness.
"May God always give smoothness, Cah Bagus. And everything can go according to plan."
"Aamiin Sir... Thanks..."
