TEMPUS 17: The Night Meeting

I tried not to show my frustration to Eagle Brother. However, he was willing to pick me up and do the trust given by Bang Wara. Yes, that was, the mandate was to pick me up and not let me go home more easily.

As soon as I got home, as usual I took the time to stop by the kitchen to greet my mother and some of the employees of Mother's catering business. They are all friendly and I intend to hang out for a moment.

After that, I went straight up to the second floor towards the room. This time I was a little lazy to do the task on time and lazy to also summarize the material delivered by the lecturer earlier. I took a shower to cool my mind which was complicated because of Jarvis.

Towards Maghrib time, I went down to see Mom. And I'd like to have dinner alone in the room.

Fortunately, Mom let me because maybe Mom still thinks that I'm still upset with Brother Eagle.

So I immediately smiled widely and took a full plate of food, a bottle of mineral water, and a pack of fruit juice from the refrigerator. I brought it all to eat in my room. This time I was really lazy to eat together at the dinner table.

I also had a chance to see Bang Wara who had just returned home. His face looked crumpled and uninspired. I think there's a serious problem in his office. So that I did not dare to greet him or make small talk with him.

While Kak Ravi seemed diligent in reading the book of knowledge in the middle room. And Brother Eagle has not come out of his room since.

Huh, who said that having many brothers was always crowded? Everyone is busy, and so is my mom. And as the youngest child who does not want to find things, I also feel better if I isolate myself in the room only.

I had to fall asleep for a while after being full and entertained by watching Korean dramas through a laptop. When I woke up, the laptop was in sleep mode.

I saw the clock on the wall showed at half ten in the night. Holy hooch! I didn't know I was asleep that long. Though earlier I also planned to do college assignments or wait for a call from Jarvis through the mind.

I grimaced a little, then chose to turn off my laptop only because if in sleep mode too long can trigger damage.

And after the laptop died, I immediately searched for the whereabouts of my pocket watch. I got out of bed, because the pocket watch was still in my backpack. After finding it at the front, I smiled and held it.

Just as my feet were about to step back into bed, I was forced to feel the call from Jarvis. Like this afternoon. Calls made through the mind, such as connected to the mind. Immediately I closed, and I could see where he was.

Jarvis is in front of the city library. The library where I met him for teleportation without my will.

But this time too…. SPLASH!!

“What the hell?!! I'm not ready to come here!!” I yell at Jarvis.

Yes, I pulled it straight away to teleport to where it was. Though I have not worn any footwear, have not yet pinched my hair, and even I wear long-sleeved loose pajamas that this time are patterned panda with white base color.

Jarvis looked without grunting and smiling underestimating me. “Sorry, I don't know.”

I'm certainly getting moody. I stared at my old pocket watch. My goal is to teleport again, back to my room. But until a few seconds passed, nothing happened. And I heard Jarvis chuckle.

“Lo it can not be stable. Your ability has not been mastered properly. Hence you easily pull kayak gini.” Omelnya.

“Sok know!!” My mouth is upset.

“Indeed I know.” Reply while holding the chest.

“Gue just want to talk to you, tomorrow only we start. But I haven't been talking, you've been pulled here. Yeah don't mistake me. You do not have a brake for this handle.” It was his words that made me feel sad.

This guy is really shitty. He forced me to be taught by him himself.

I don't understand his words. Immediately I turned towards the other direction, because I should just go home manually. Yes, manual. On foot, or maybe later I'll find a taxi that operates at night.

However, in the next second, my left hand was blocked. I automatically turned around because Jarvis pulled me a little stronger. It made me immediately see him bending over, and put a pair of black rubber sandals in front of my feet.

“Dipakek.” He said, as if a command.

I swallowed slowly. And I don't want to wear those sandals. However, I feel uncomfortable walking barefoot and exposed to a lot of sand on the streets. “Kok lo bring sandals?” I wonder, because Jarvis has also been wearing sports shoes since.

“Gue hobbies take sandals everywhere. You often stop by somewhere else.” Definitely as an excuse.

I nodded and looked at my feet, which were now wearing sandals from Jarvis. Although it looks great, but comfortable. “Thanks.” Say slowly.

“Pake this too.” Jarvis said again. This time he gave her a black jacket that he was wearing.

“Lo?”

“Pakek just make lo. That's the shirt you saw a lot of people passing by since. Lo kayak a child who ran away because he did not want to be told to sleep.”

I immediately snorted in annoyance and accepted the jacket. I wear it despite the greatness too. Like this feels pretty good despite my pajama trousers that are still clearly visible.

“Because you've already teleported. What if we talk? I'll clear everything.” Jarvis.

And I considered his invitation. Then immediately nodded in agreement, because I was curious about the origin of all this. “Bby.” My answer.

Then we walked for five minutes. Heading to the nearby park area around the scope of the city's library. Then look for a seat that is reserved for the public.

We sat down, and at first we felt so awkward. I don't know why it's awkward. I feel awkward because only this time can be close to so easily with people I just know. And Jarvis seems awkward because nights like this come out with me.

“Bokap i. Bokap. My father and my father. I am sure they are still alive. But I don't know where they are. I believe they exist in another dimension of time. So it's not easy to find. And it took a lot of people to look for them.”

“I mean lo.... Our father is really still alive?” I asked a little confused.

Jarvis nodded. “Iya. Our father's not dead, Bell. There was an incident in the past. Which ultimately requires our father to leave the family just like that, without coming back.” Clearly again.

“I mean, there was an incident that caused all this?”

“True. Do you want to know?”
