"Ready?"
Sultan asked as he got out of the car.
"Ready!"
Melati replied with a little embarrassment. Honestly, his heart is beating really fast.
"Whose school did you take me to?"
Shouted Kevin as he walked out.
"Oops geez, I forgot."
Melati hit her head, because she was so eager to go to Zahra's house and meet the Sultan's parents and Zahra's new parents, she forgot if she had to take her sister to school.
"Let me take you." Said the Sultan who was approved by Kevin.
"Huh thankfully the prospective sister-in-law is not like sister Melati." Kevin muttered which made Melati upset.
"What happened to my sister?" Melati asked annoyed.
"Well as it currently looks. Like. stepmom." Kevin said and got into the Sultan's car.
"Eh, you little shitty boy." Ketus Jasmine then get in the car.
The sultan just smiled at the cat-and-mouse-like sister.
If he could back off time, he would also want to return to Kevin's age of playing, joking and quarreling with his sister Zahra.
The Sultan was still very sad when he thought about his brother's imperfect childhood. Where should be a child like Zahra at that time, can get affection from his parents and even himself as an older brother. But unfortunately, Zahra did not get that right.
In contrast to her fated self she meets Laras and Gibran, who give her all the affection and attention in the world.
Sultan drives his car to Kevin's school which happens to be in the direction of his house.
"Thank you Sultan. Be careful on the road, especially the same..." Kevin deliberately hung his words.
"Basic, go there, learn the right thing." Ketus Melati on her sister who really likes to tease her.
Kevin laughed and ran into his school.
"Ah, no. I'm just jealous of you." The sultan faded his smile.
"Dad? on us? you mean me and that bad boy?" Ask Melati.
"Yes, you're very lucky, even if your parents are busy, but it's for your future and you still have parents. Unlike me and Zahra, especially poor Zahra. From childhood he only lived lonely friends alone. No parent or bad brother like Kevin would tease her."
Saying that until the Sultan stopped, he did not know how to describe his feelings of kasian and guilt to his sister, Zahra.
Melati then looked towards the school and saw Kevin who was chatting with his friend.
"Yes, I'm much luckier. Although the boy often makes me angry, but I know he only teases me and he loves me very much. I love him too." Melati said as she continued to look at her sister from afar.
The Sultan smiled, he knew what Melati said was sincere from her heart. As often as brothers quarrel, they remain brothers who are affectionate with each other and bound by the bonds of blood.
...
"Well, that's Zahra's room, I have a little business." Said the Sultan while pointing at the second room from the top floor.
"Where are you going?" Ask Melati.
"To..." The Sultan did not say it but just held his stomach.
Melati who understands if the Sultan wants to go to the toilet feels very embarrassed and sorry for being too pampered.
Melati went upstairs and entered Zahra's room.
"Hey sweetheart. How are you doing?"
Melati hugged Zahra who was still lying on the bed.
"Alhamdulillah, fine. Just a little limp. Where's Sultan's brother?" Zahra asked while trying to get up and lean on the edge of the bed.
Jasmine helped lean Zahra's head, and answered with embarrassment.
"Toilet." Saying Melati slowly.
Zahra who saw the shy side of Melati who had known so far was very cute, coquettish, flippant, and bars, smiled to see the new side of her best friend who looked funny in her eyes.
