Islam Friends Sepiku

Islam Friends Sepiku
Chapter 21

In the afternoon Melati packed her things in Zahra's house, her parents would leave again and she had to return home because she had to take care of her sister.

"I'm sorry, I can't keep you company."

Melati felt heavy leaving Zahra alone.

"No problem, I'm used to being alone in this house." Zahra said as she fell.

"Hmm, anyways you're in ajakin living together at home not wanting to."

Melati said with a frown, she had often invited Zahra to stay at her house so that her best friend was not lonely anymore, but Zahra always refused with the same reason, if he is alone but he is happier if he stays at home, the house where he was born, the house where he used to laugh with his family, where he and his brother Zidan often run, a house full of memories.

Zahra just smiled looking at Melati.

"Daah, take care of yourself, if you need a friend to chat call me okay."

Melati hugged Zahra as if they would never see each other again.

...

Zahra who was busy continuing her writing heard the tone of the incoming message notification from her phone.

"Waalaikumsalam, again wrote, sorry who are you?" Zahra replies to the person who sent her the message "Assalamualaikum, what are you doing?" they did not recognize the new number.

The person who sent the message read Zahra's reply, typing with a smile.

"I know you're writing a reply from me, I mean what are you doing now?" Reply to that man.

"Yes I'm writing, not replying to your message but continuing the novel" Zahra replied, somehow he who very rarely wants to serve sms from people he does not know now even reply to the message.

"Are you a writer?" Asked the man, he was surprised because he did not know Zahra was a writer.

"Yes, I know people through my novels. I guess you're one of them, if you don't know I'm a writer then how do you get my number? did you get it wrong?" Zahra asked puzzledly, she often gets messages from people she doesn't know because that person is her fan, but he was confused as if the person he was sending the message to didn't know if he was a novelist, then how could that person know Zahra and get her number?

"May I know your pen name and the title of your novel?" The man did not answer Zahra's question, but asked for Zahra's pen name and novel title.

Zahra thought, then gave his pen name and the title of his works.

Samuel saw that there were more than ten titles of novels that Zahra had sent out were shocked. This clearly proves that Zahra is a very famous writer now. Samuel recalled the time he saved Zahra from the crowd that day and understood that they must be Zahra fans.

Samuel searched for Zahra's novel and was surprised by Zahra's number of followers.

"My First Islam of Love."

Samuel muttered the title of Zahra's novel that made him interested in reading it.

...

"The weird guy." Zahra said, then continued her writing.

(Sounds notification of incoming contact in Zahra novel account)

Zahra noticed a contact coming in from a mysterious account that was dating her first long-dead work.

"If your first love is Islam, then who is your last love?" It was Samuel whom Zahra did not know.

Zahra thought and pondered and replied, "islam, Islam is my first and last love."

"Who is the love that fills your heart? didn't they?" Samuel asked, puzzled by Zahra, if his first and last love was Islam then was there a place for him in Zahra's heart?

Zahra who read the message reflexively thought of Samuel.

"A servant of God, who may not have been destined with me." Somehow Zahra was interested in answering the question of the man she did not think was Samuel himself, maybe because of the many fans who often send messages to him all just talk about the popularity of Zahra or the novel itself. This is the first person to ask about Zahra's feelings and the contents of her heart that Zahra really wants to pour out on someone.

Samuel was pensive with Zahra's reply.

"Why did you say that?" Ask Samuel.

"Because the love that occupies my heart right now is against my first and last love."

"How can you?"

"Of course, it may be God's test to test how much my love for him compares to my love for his servant."

"Who do you love more?"

"Of course God. There is nothing I love more than HIM."

"And you let go of the love in your heart?"

"Love in my heart will always be there, just can't be united."

"Is there no way to unite your love?"

"Maybe there is, but it's impossible." Zahra replied as she took a breath, she was a little relieved to have expressed a little bit of a sense that she had been alone all this time.

"What?" Samuel asked, he was anxious to know how for him and Zahra to be united, for him from Zahra to say how, there was nothing impossible for Samuel to do.

Zahra who realized that she had talked too much to strangers felt she should not go too far to say her heart again.

Zahra closed her account and continued writing again.
