CHAPTER 41

The emperor squirms on his bed, the sunlight is already scorching. He got up and sat down to collect his life.

"Audrey Park.." A name he called a smile.

The emperor looked at the clock and the time was eleven o'clock in the afternoon, he immediately cleaned himself up and went down to look for food because from last night he was holding his hunger.

There was a sound of laughter from the backyard connected to the dining room, the Emperor approached him and found Ryu his best friend in his house.

"Key.. Tumben you're awake." Ryu asked who saw the Emperor coming.

"Are you asking or insinuating me?" Reply to the Emperor and make Ryu laugh.

"Sister Kai Tumben once woke up in the afternoon, I guess Big Brother didn't come home last night." Keiina.

"Where are you from, Key?" Ask Ryu to investigate.

"A lot of work." The Emperor replied casually hiding his nervousness.

"Where are you going now?" Keiina asked because the Emperor looked neat.

"You're checking with Aldo." He replied again and of course the Emperor lied.

Keiina trusted him but not with Ryu, Ryu very know if on holidays the Emperor does not like to be burdened by work, finished not completing a job if the time off then it must be delayed, that was how the Emperor Ryu knew.

"Where are Mama and Oma?" Ask Emperor.

"Oma's taking Mama to the salon for treatment." Answer Keiina. "In the presence of Nina's mother as well." Another imbibing.

"Why don't you come?" Ask the Emperor to Keiina.

"I'm lazy, just want to be home." The answer. Keiina actually felt tired from having to work on Monday to Friday, and chose to rest on Saturday and week.

"Sister will be gone for a while, are you okay with Ryu?" Ask the Emperor again.

"It's okay, brother, from earlier I was with Mas Ryu also chat, at most lunch out." Keiina replied and made Ryu smile.

The Emperor nodded, he had so much faith in Ryu because Ryu was not a player.

The Emperor chatted for a while with Ryu, then ate and hurried away. The goal is super market. The emperor bought Audrey groceries and fruits, as well as biscuits and packaged milk to fill the freezer in Audrey's apartment.

After shopping, the Emperor headed to Audrey's apartment, with two items of groceries, and the Emperor headed to Audrey's apartment unit.

After entering the passcode, the apartment door opened, Audrey turned her head in surprise to see the Emperor come and enter freely, she forgot to change the passcode of her apartment after previously telling the Emperor. The Emperor was also surprised to see Audrey ironing clothes and not resting, but the Emperor was very worried about her.

"Master Kai."

The Emperor immediately entered and closed the door with one leg, then kept the groceries he had brought in the mini kitchen set, after which, the Emperor approached Audrey.

"Why don't you rest, Hem?" Asked the Emperor gently.

"I've been better, sir." Audrey replied doubtfully.

The emperor unplugged the ironing power cord and took Audrey to sit on the bed. Your iron put it in the laundry only, so you can rest." Emperor Said.

Audrey shook her head, "Sorry, sir. But I'd rather do everything myself."

"What if it's a holiday, you never go out?" The Emperor asked, "For example to play or shop?" Ask her again.

"No." Audrey answered flatly.

"Why?"

"I don't have any friends." Answer Audrey.

The Emperor's heart ached hearing that, Audrey was really just living alone.

Audrey is silent, Ayla is very kind to her, but Regan her husband and Ryu's only child are always indifferent to her even though sometimes Regan and Ryu also show their caring nature to Audrey. Like choosing a good and expensive dormitory also helped finance all Audrey needs.

"I don't want to bother them." Audrey said at last.

"Where is your Papa?" Why not just stay with him?" The Emperor asked because last night when Adurey was delirious, Audrey kept mentioning the Papa.

"My father lives on a desert island, I don't like living on an undeveloped island." Audrey answered again.

"Have you ever tried to find your mother?" The Emperor asked to know.

Audrey shook her head. "No, what am I looking for. He left me."

The Emperor saw so much disappointment in Audrey, but Audrey covered it up by being flat and withdrawing from everyone.

"Sir, please don't come here again." Audrey said at last.

"Why?"

"I don't want people to interfere too much with my life." Answer Audrey.

"I care about you." The Emperor said still softly.

"Don't mind me. I'm used to living alone." Audrey answered again.

The Emperor sighed, "At least we can be friends."

"No, I can't be friends with anyone."

The Emperor looked at Audrey's face, who trusted no one, and felt that Audrey was limiting herself.

"I'll still be your friend even if you don't consider me a friend." Emperor Said.

The emperor stood up from his seat, he headed for the groceries he had bought and took them out and tidied them into the refrigerator. Audrey only noticed it even though she felt bad.

"Have you eaten?" The Emperor and Audrey asked in silence.

"certainly not. Let me cook you something." The Emperor said it himself because Audrey never answered him.

"Don't eat instant noodles too often, Audrey. It is not healthy for your body. If you can't be friends with others, at least learn to be friends with yourself. If you feel like no one loves you, then you must learn to love yourself." The Emperor said at length, no matter if Audrey would listen to him or not, the Emperor only wanted to be a noisy man to give Audrey his life of ashes.

The emperor started to roast the rice and tried to cook it. Of course Audrey kept watching him.

"That's not how it is." Audrey had to approach the Emperor.

"It has to be washed first." Audrey said she washed the rice and scratched the water in the rice and put it in the rice cooker and pressed the button.

The Emperor smiled at Audrey's movements.

"I never cook." The Emperor said without asking.

"I know, you must be a spoiled child who can get everything easily without having to bother." Audrey. This was the longest sentence the Emperor had heard from Audrey.

"I'm spoiled for who? Even as a child I separated from my mother because of my Father." The Emperor replied trying to tell Audrey if they had any resemblance in living life. Raised without a mother.

Audrey immediately turned to the Emperor, not knowing that the Emperor was experiencing the same thing as her.

"Do you know my story?" Ask Emperor.

Audrey returned to her consciousness. "No, thanks. I'm not interested." The answer.

"But I want to tell you." The Emperor said casually.
