CHAPTER 23

Although one hour more store schedule to close, but Adelia advance the closing hours, he said, Adelia wraps cookies in the store and sends them to an orphanage where she often gives cakes for free.

The Emperor smiled at the social spirit that was still attached to Adelia, the Emperor continued to pay attention to Adelia who counted the cakes left in her shop by her local neighbors and started giving her money.

After almost an hour of waiting, Adelia's cake shop closed, Adelia took the Emperor and Ryu into her modest home through a door that was connected to her house and shop. The Emperor circulated his view of how the house of Adelia was so simple yet maintained its neatness and cleanliness.

"You hungry?" Ask Adelia. "Mama's gonna cook you something." Say again.

"Later on, Ma. Kai still misses Mama." replied Kai spoiledly to the Mama.

Adelia smiled, for her it was still like a dream to be able to hug her eldest child.

"Tell Mama, how did you find Mama here?" Ask Adelia softly.

The Emperor sighed for a moment, then told a story. "Lemon cake that Ryu brought for me, immediately made me and Oma recognize a different taste with all the lemon cake that we tried to use." Answer Emperor.

Adelia looked towards Ryu, "Thank you doctor Ryu." Sincerely speaking.

"It's okay aunt, I'm grateful to see Key finally happy to meet Auntie." Reply Ryu.

"Om you healthy?" Ask Adelia to the Emperor.

"Oma is healthy, Ma. Oma who's been looking after me and keeping me company." The answer.

Ryu stood up, he wanted to give more space for the Emperor and Adelia, Ryu deliberately reasoned following the driver who was in the restaurant not far from Adelia's cake shop.

"Aren't you mad at me, Mama?" Adelia asked as she rubbed the Emperor's hair.

"I want to be angry, Ma. Really want. But Oma told me that if Mama left, Mama wouldn't be depressed and that would make Mama happy. Also forget the sadness that Papa has incited for Mama." Answer Emperor. "I'm beginning to understand even though it's hard to accept at first, Ma."

Adelia wiped the tears on her cheek. "You know all the reasons?" Ask Adelia.

The Emperor nodded and helped wipe the tears on Adelia's cheek. "Papa told Mama to leave because Papa wanted to return to his first love, Papa held me back because I was the only legitimate heir appointed by Opa. That's why Papa is holding me back." he said softly.

Adelia and the Emperor were both silent, until Adelia's thoughts were fixed on Keiina. "Kai, what is the sign that you also know if Keiina.....?" Ask Adelia to know.

The Emperor nodded, "Keiina is my sister." The Emperor was called by Adelia.

"Have you met him?" Ask again.

"Keii is in the main house, Ma. With Oma." The answer and instantly made Adelia freeze.

"Papa's not home, Ma. And I kept the woman confined so she couldn't get out of her room. Keii's safe with Oma." Speaks soothing.

"Did Keii also know if you were his sister?"

The Emperor shook his head, "Keii is really funny, Ma. He asked me to find his brother. I am his brother." replied the Emperor and laughed.

Adelia smiled at the laughter of the Emperor, a laughter she had not seen for a long time.

"Kai says Kai will bring his brother Keii after Kai returns from out of town." She replied to Adelia's smile.

"It turns out you're a prankster, Kai." Adelia pulled the Emperor's nose, just as she had done when the Emperor was little.

"Ma.. Come move in with me." The Emperor said in the end.

Adelia looked into the Emperor's sad eyes, a handsome face with a lot of sadness in her life, being raised without a mother and witnessing the unjust deeds of her Papa.

"Ma.. Now Kai is the legitimate heir of Wiguna, all power is in Kai's hands. Kai wants to restore Mama's position as the big lady in the Wiguna family." The Emperor assured.

Adelia smiled and again clasped the Emperor's hand, a tiny hand that was now larger than hers. "Kai, don't hold a grudge. Mama's been happy and much happier to see you back." Soft talk.

"Mama doesn't want to stay with me back?" Ask Emperor. ;

"Well to, Kai. But don't hold a grudge against anyone." Answer Adelia. "Well you know you're hurt, Mama and Keii are hurt too, but someone's love can't be forced, and so is your Papa's feeling for Riska."

Adelia turned her face and stared blankly ahead. "Mama guess..." Adelia paused her sentence, suddenly her voice stuck in her throat. "Mom think first love can be defeated by true love. But it turns out Riska wasn't just your Papa's first love, she was your Papa's true love."

"Then what's Mama?" Ask the emperor. "Why would Dad marry Mom? As a man, I can't touch a woman if I don't love her, whereas Papa can carry out her role as head of the household and present me as well as Keiina to this world, what is not love, what is love, Ma?"

"Kai..." Adelia called the Emperor name slowly. "Mama's just a woman who just happened to step into your Papa's life, treating his wounds while in residence by his first love." Adelia sighed. "Why, Ma?" Ask Emperor. "Why did Mom just forgive him? He hurt Mama, Keii and me."

"Kai.. Revenge will not make you happy. Is it with revenge, your Papa can love Mama and things will improve?" Adelia shook her head. "Love cannot be forced. Right now Mama just wants to go through her old age with you and Keii. Seeing you married a sincere woman, and Keii also married a man who would be loyal to her."

Emperor doth.

"Kai, stop it?" Persuade Adelia.

The Emperor looked back at Adelia's two eyes, "What by stopping her, Mama wants to stay with Kai back?" The Emperor asked convincingly.

Adelia nodded, "Originally in the other house, Mama wants to go back to live with you and Keii."

"Also Oma?" Ask Emperor.

Adelia nodded. "Of course, if Oma wanted to, Mama would love to stay with Oma back."

The Emperor breathed a sigh of relief, for the sake of Adelia, the Emperor would stop all his grudges, the most important thing for him now was to have Adelia and Keiina stay with him. Although the relationship between the Emperor and Anhar will not improve again.

Let all grudges fall on their own, the Emperor still hopes that one day Anhar and Riska will get karma for his actions. Without the Emperor and Adelia knowing, Keiina could not simply apologize to Anhar, the wound that Anhar inflicted on Keiina was so deep, that it made Keiina grow into a girl filled with grudges. Silently, Keiina had prepared her own revenge plan for everything Anhar and Riska had done. For Keiina, tears have to be paid for with tears.
