Chapter 3

Kenzo doesn't really sleep after he overhears the conversation of his mother and Kenneth. As he was about to descend to fetch water from thirst, he heard his mother speak to Kenneth, though Kenneth did not respond either.

He heard his name mentioned in Fina's speech, making him feel bad because he also saw Kenneth's face ducking.

When he wanted to chim in Fina's words, his mother first left Kenneth who did not budge and silenced. He finally chose to pull over when Kenneth walked into the room, maybe he would ask about Fina's words.

"So mama, what are you doing?". Kenzo asked regardless of Kenneth's visibly irritated facial expression. Annoyed that he forced his way into the man's room.

"So I heard he's sinisin lo, tomorrow let me talk this to mama".

"Lo don't be crazy!!". Kenneth glared.

Kenzo smiled amusedly, revealing Kenneth's irritated face. "Gue won't accept lo diginiin, even if it's the same mama. Let mama understand sometimes if you are not wrong, this is not your fault".

"Of course, I don't want to take it anymore". Kenneth silence. He often lies to himself.

Kenneth remained silent, but he soon sighed. "Lo go, I'm tired of going to bed".

Instead of moving to go as Kenneth had said, Kenzo lay on the young man's bed. Kenneth immediately pulled out Kenzo's hand, not letting his brother lie comfortably.

"Go Zo, school tomorrow".

Kenzo clucked, he stood up. "Pelit lo, numpang baring doang can not".

"This is already in the middle of the mallem, anyways why you come here anyway". Kenneth let out a heavy sigh, he pushed his brother's body out of the room. Kenzo blackmails, but he doesn't care and still leads his twin brother out.

Better like this, compared to Fina who accidentally caught Kenzo who had not slept and was in his room. Even though it was impossible because Fina would not even be willing to be close to everything that concerns her.

He also did not want to hear Kenzo's question. Not for fear of her brother nagging, but she was very confused as to what to answer. Although the possibility of Kenzo very well know the cause he often came home late, because of fighting.

After that Kenzo will protest at Fina, and Fina who is angry. It made Kenneth again feel guilty, as if he was the source of the blame from his own family.

That's not his wish. Because he just wants to always see his mother's smile again in the morning or Fina's gentle greeting to people. Even if it wasn't for him. But he wanted to see that smile.

And he wouldn't let that happen, it's better for Kenzo to remain silent and quiet about this than for the man to say that makes him feel alienated again.

After Kenzo left, he closed the door quietly. Then step up and sit on the edge of the bed, paying attention to the screen of the phone that lights up due to notifications from his friends.

Kelvin: brother is there?

Bastian: You're here?

Dylan: hee dope his wound, or do I want to take it?

Darel: Kelvin nanyain, brother is there?

Cameron: maapin I'm Ken, I must be ngerepotin lo

Kenzo has no intention of replying to the message, except for Kelvin.

Kenneth: yes.

Kelvin won't give up until the man gets a reply from him. Like he said, Kelvin was too worried about him.

After seeing a notification early in the morning from someone. As much as possible Kenneth avoided the man who was going to his house. It was nothing, but the habits of people he knew so well were not ready for him to see. More precisely he was not ready to be hit by a series of questions over the wounds on his face.

After drinking enough water, he rushed to his car. Most likely that person will be coming soon, exactly 5 minutes away.

The sound of Kenneth's car attracted the attention of Kenzo who was just about to sit in the dining chair, the man did not sit down and frowned confusedly.

"Kenneth hasn't eaten yet". For what his sister went to school early in the morning, his sister did not leave at 05.30 am. The child, although not eating at the dining table with others, would prefer to crouch in the room for breakfast alone.

"Loh Zo, are you here?". Fina who was wearing an apron had just finished cooking.

Kenzo smiled faintly, his face groaning as he recalled what his mother had done to Kenneth. As much as he could bear, he covered it with a faint smile. Although the wound that also cornered his heart did not yet have a bright spot. About what his mother said, or about why Kenneth's face was so grim.

Fina who realizes Kenzo's inertness is a little confused, because usually Kenzo who despite having a face judes but still shows a sweet side to him. "Why you, baby?".

"No papa, where's papa?". Kenzo replied with a smile at the end.

Fina nodded slowly. "Papa brought bekel this morning, he said there was an important meeting".

Kenzo no longer responded, he ate quietly. Before the sound of someone's screams disturbed them.

"KENNETH KENZO!!!".

They look closely at the source of the sound. Right at the threshold of the dining room, stood a woman wearing a flower dress and carrying two black totebags.

"Aunty?". Kenzo said a little surprised.

The person who had just been called 'aunty' pursed his lips. "Aunty, how many times did I say! Don't call me Aunt, we're only 7 years apart. Call me why the hell, hard huh?!".

It was Gwen, she was Reyhan's younger brother. The woman is still in college, at the University of Oxford England. Just coming home at 3 am, the woman should have slept well to rest, but the longing for her nephew could not be contained anymore. She misses Kenzo and Kenneth. Especially Kenneth. He must know how Kenneth is doing now, given how crazy the couple in this house to hate Kenneth.

Kenzo thinned his lips. "Yes, when are you going home?". He asked as he watched Gwen pull up the chair and sit on it.

Gwen slightly flicked her shoulder-length hair. "Just this morning. It's a gift for you to Kenneth". Gwen placed the totebag on the table, slightly glancing at Fina who was sitting next to Kenzo cynically. "Just for you as Kenneth, nothing else".

Fina was silent, the woman ate regardless of Gwen's words.

Kenzo accepted with pleasure. "Not the brownies you bought on your land, right? Haha".

"Absolutely you!!". Grunts Gwen a little annoyed.

Not seeing Kenneth's whereabouts since earlier made Gwen a little furious. "Where's kenneth?".

Kenzo looked up a little. "He left first, don't know why?".

Gwen sneered cynically. "That's it!! How to be glared at the same big in this house, especially if you do not know yourself!!".

"You're fucking me?!!". This time Fina made a sound. Kenzo gasped as his mother responded with emotion.

Another with Gwen who pulled the corner of her lips. "Mbak feelings? So inget dong if mbak had twins, not just Kenzo doang".

"He's not my son!!". Fina shouted ferociously.

Thats enough. Gwen's emotions were already boiling, she was standing on the table. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN?!!!".

The fight is back. Kenneth wasn't here, if the man was here, he would've nagged Gwen for not accepting Fina being yelled at by him.

Kenzo smiled mirically.
