I Reincarnated As a Tree
Low 29: How to Get a Job

Day three after the outbreak. The monsters that inhabit the forest are increasing, the refugees must be extra vigilant about the environment around the evacuation. Forests are becoming increasingly dangerous, if they make the slightest mistake it could end up being eaten by mutated insects.

But that doesn't mean all survivors will live in fear forever. Some people who are aware of the benefits of the system use the power they get to survive. They began to explore the forest and create fences to improve refugee security, and hunt for food supplies.

There are a total of 70,000 more survivors in the refugee camps, they are required to help each other in survival activities. The young men who have fighting abilities are in charge of foraging in the forest, while those who remain will help establish various supporting infrastructure such as walls, watchtowers and of course houses.

Static sounds were heard on the radio as Mr. Budi continued to try to find the signal. For two days he lost contact with the military center, this made his beak man quite worried about the situation at the center.

“Could the center have…. Nah! It was impossible.” sir Budi kept trying to contact the center until not long later he gave up, “Free, maybe this radio has been damaged.” he thought.

Mr. Budi then turned his attention out the window, outside there are thousands of people working hard to build a wall with wooden beams around the evacuation. Some refugees hoe the land to make trenches while others cut down trees that will be used as fences. All the tools they use are the result of Skyweed resin creations.

Thanks to the help of the flying plant monsters it made the job of the survivors much easier.

Pak Budi's gaze was fixed on the refugees who were working hard, “I don't know what I should do to them.” Thinking about the future of refugees that he must take care of, Budi can only sigh heavily.

[POWder of Azlea]

As per our agreement, Riki took me to explore the city under the mountain. But it was not just the two of us who made this journey, there were three other survivors who participated, namely colonel Hesti, April vampire and fire witch Dedi. We were all expedition teams assigned to look at the state of the city.

At first everyone was hesitant about the power I had so they had rejected Riki's request to invite me to join the team. But seeing my ability to detect the existence of monsters made all the members let me join.

Along the way down the mountain our group received dozens of threats from various forest-dwelling monsters. The monsters that most often blocked our journey were goblins and poisonous snakes.

“You are sure this snake is so dangerous?.” April asked while showing the body of the snake with a wide incision on its neck. “If you don't believe it, you can allow another snake to bite you.” I answered while following the snake skin and taking the gall that was the poison sac.

Everyone was amazed by my shrewdness in skinning the snake and their faces clearly showed the question of what I would do with the snake's gall. “We can use the poison found in snake bile to strengthen the weapon we use.”

As a test run I smeared an arrow belonging to Hesti and told him to fire at a horse-tall forest ba_bi.

“What the fuck is with that piggy bank?.” Riki was surprised to see the size of the piggy bank I showed.

“The animal ate the goblin?.” It was Dedi's turn to be surprised.

“Why wonder, not an animal like Ba_bi is indeed an all-eater?.” reply April.

“If he really likes to eat other monsters like goblins, it would be natural if the piggy bank is so big.” said Nesti.

After smearing the tip of the arrow with snake venom. After the preparations were finished colonel Hesti immediately aimed his arrow at the forest Ba_bi, the military woman took a deep breath and opened fire.

Guiiii!

Ba8i forest was shocked when his bok_ong was suddenly hit by an arrow, angrily the monster searched for the culprit around but he did not find anyone because our group was hiding behind a bush.

“Oh... amazing, killing a monster of that size with just one poisoned arrow.” Riki could not help his admiration. The young man's words were confirmed by April.

Meanwhile colonel Hesti fell silent as if he was thinking of something, “What's the matter?.” April asked. “I just got Job offer to be a Hunter.” Hesti's reply left the other three shocked.

“Job Hunter!, What kind of job is it?.” Dedi asked so excitedly.

“Hem... Such a specialist in monster hunting. Job Hunter can make me raise power by 10% and get an extra 5% more Exp when fighting monsters.”

Hearing the details of Job Hunter makes everyone except Dedi think to get the same Job. April and Riki learn according to Hesti's instructions, it is known if to become a Hunter someone must kill monsters with 5 weapons and 2 different ways.

April and Riki use arrows, swords, spears, daggers, and firearms. Then the last thing they did was the same thing that Hesti did when he killed the forest b8i using poison.

“Oh, I got it!. But there are other Jobs that also appear.”

“Sama, I also.”

After doing the same as Hesti did, it seems like the two not only get the Hunter job but there are other job options.

April says she was given the option of becoming a Hunter or Assassin, while Riki has Spearman's job as a second choice.

“I don't understand why the two got the second choice. Is it related to the way the two fight?.” Denny tried to analyze.

As the fire witch had said, although April was currently using a short sword but she had previously used a bayonet (a type of dagger). While Riki what system thinks if a Spade as a spear?.

“So what will you choose?.” Questioned Nesti, a question that made the two of them stare intently at the status screen that we could not see.

Assassin has the advantage in sneak techniques, there are some special skills obtained if choosing the Skill, as well as the Spearman job. Although both jobs do not have an additional Exp when killing monsters, but as a bonus they will increase the strength to 15% when using certain weapons.

“We do not know whether the job can be replaced or not, so be careful in making a decision.” Hesti's advice.

Then in the end both of them took the second Job, April became Assassin and Riki as Spearman. If asked why they chose jobs other than Hunter, both give reasons for research. Not only April and Riki but the five of us are curious about the uniqueness of each Job.

“So what do you get?.” Dedi's question got all the attention on me.

I did the same thing as everyone else but there was no offer to be a Hunter or any other job. I think because I already have a Job Champions of God so I don't get a chance to be a Hunter.

Not wanting to make them suspicious, forced me to lie.“…. Engineering, that's the job I got.”
