I'm with you, Mr. Teacher
A Night at Semawis Market

Semawis Market located along Jalan Gang Warung is only open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Although never quiet, the peak is usually on Sunday nights. Among the visitors who are average locals, there are some domestic and foreign tourists who deliberately take the time to hunt culinary.

"What does it eat, right?" The narrow-eyed girl looked enthusiastically watching the food booths neatly lined up on the side of the road.

"As far as you are, you." Sandalwood had only followed Ranum's steps that had no signs of stopping. Sandalwood knows, for food, his best friend is very picky.

"Hey."

The presence of the shrill voice earlier along with the fall of the clap on Ranum's shoulders, made the girl somewhat jerked.

"Jaka. Just be surprised, huh." Ranum pretended to sewot while shaking his legs.

Sandalwood smiled amusedly at the sight of the two.

"What's going on here?"

"Just walk, anyway. How do you know you can meet a soul mate." Jaka cengar - grin gaje.

"Basic!" Ranum. Even with Sandalwood.

"Sir, over here!" Jaka's sudden shout towards someone, made the two girls nearby spontaneously turn their heads.

"Lo with Jati sir?" Ranum's question actually did not need an answer, because obviously the person who was walking towards them, after hearing Jaka's cry, was indeed Jati.

Jati thought Jaka was still next to her. Suddenly lost due to approaching his two classmates, making Jati confused.

Sandalwood's response is certainly not as common as Ranum's. Even though he was silent, he was happy not to play. Apparently there is no need to wait tomorrow, tonight God presents the beautiful figure in front of him. Teak appears casual, very lame when he plays a teacher. He wore a grey Polo t-shirt matched with faded blue knee-length jeans. White sneakers complement his appearance. Tonight Jati completely stripped the image of the teacher in her, making it harder for Cendana to take her eyes off.

Cendana wanted to say hello first when Jati had joined them, but her tongue suddenly twisted. He could only smile when the man greeted him.

"Geez, I almost forgot. Mama Nitip was bought by Jamu Jun. Before I completely forget, I think I'm buying it now, huh." Ranum was busy looking left-right. "Em .. It's like the station's on the other end, huh." Ranum pointed his index finger far ahead. "Ka, get me, yeah." Ranum grabbed Jaka's wrist, then turned towards Cendana. "Dana, you are here, yes, Mr. Jati. Or if you want to eat, please. I'll stay at the booth." After saying a quick word, Ranum took a long step while dragging Jaka who seemed to not mind.

Sandalwoods. He didn't get to say anything. Know-how now he was left alone with Jati. The atmosphere that had started to live, suddenly stiffened. Somehow what now.

Jati who had been suspicious when—without hesitation—Jaka invited him to this place, now very grateful for not being rejected. In fact, he should thank you after this. The less classy invitation that he almost refused, now bears the opportunity alone with Cendana in the warm atmosphere of Semawis Market.

"Run again, yuk!" Teak takes over the rigidity, having realized this rare moment should not be wasted.

Cendana assented with a slow nod, then looked down and began to follow the steps of Teak.

"What do you want to eat?"

Sandalwood that is just accompanying Ranum, has not thought of what to eat at all. After all, Auntie's kale stir-fry always made her goosey. He is not hungry at the moment. But, the opportunity to eat with Jati should not be missed. Sandalwood was just about to give up the business of choosing food to Teak, when his steps arrived in front of the banana plenet booth.

"You want this one?" ask Jati after realizing the steps Cendana swallowed, and pay attention to the booth beside them.

Sandalwoods nodded. Not without reason the booth is similar to having a gravitational force for him. It is well remembered, the banana plenet is the favorite snack of Cakka. In the past, every time they came here, Cakka never absent tasting a flat-roasted banana dish with a variety of toppings.

After ordering, they sat face to face in plastic chairs, ushered in a small table.

"You eat here often?"

Sandalwood came back just nodding. Teak began to feel, something was wrong with the girl. His face was not as happy as before.

"Are you all right?"

Cendana strives for a smile, which appears very forced in the eyes of Teak.

Teak pulled the juice for him closer. Then siphon it slowly, while observing the expression of Sandalwood, who he believes is not okay.

"Among all the food here, Cakka likes this the most."

Jati took off her straw, then put up an attitude ready to hear whatever Sandalwood wants to share.

"His face is always as white as when dealing with this food." Vibration at the end of the sentence Sandalwood coupled with a bitter smile.

The new teak first heard Cendana mention Cakka's name, but he was sure, the person in question was his late sister, as Jaka had told him.

"You missing him?"

Sandalwood nodded back. This time a clear drop escaped the corner of his eye. Look at it, Teak miris. But the guy was confused, what to act as now. A teacher? A fella? Or someone who cares because of special feelings?

A moment later, Cendana's expression grew less and less noisy, as the booth owner tightened the volume of music that had flowed slowly from his media player. Heartbreaking pieces of events instantly flashed in the mind of Sandalwood. He closed his eyes and tried to calm himself. But it didn't work out completely. His hands were trembling, accompanied by tears that had poured out.

Teak began to panic looking at the girl in front of him like she had just met her most acute fear. Amidst the confusion, he grabbed the two hands of Sandalwood whose vibration was getting more and more intense.

"Where, what's wrong with you?" Teak**cendana fingers, trying to calm him down.

"Sir, please tell them to turn off the music." The sound of Sandalwood disjointed in the midst of increasingly bad breath. His eyes remained closed.

Without needing to understand fully, Jati immediately jumped out of her chair, met the booth guard and asked him to turn off the music that was actually intended to add to the excitement of the atmosphere.

Although the booth guard was confused when the teak pointed towards Cendana, he immediately obeyed Jati's request without question.

Jati thanked him before returning to the front of Cendana.

After the sound of music disappeared, the condition of Sandalwood did not immediately recover. An attempt to normalize the breathing pattern revealed his chest rising and falling rapidly.

Teak again grasped both hands Sandalwood. Teak tries to drain the positive energy with the soft *** of the weak fingers, until the eyes of the owner open slowly. A little longer Cendana did not open her eyes, Jati intended to contact Ranum and Jaka. He was afraid to see the girl in front of him.

"Are you all right?" Worries still curdled up in the voice of Teak.

Sandalwoods nodded. He pulled his hand from Jati's grasp to wipe away the tears on his cheek.

Teak rose from his seat. "Come, let's find another place if you're not comfortable here." The guy reached out his hand.

Sandalwood steeped in the Jati's eyelight a few jokes, before anchoring his grasp. They stepped slowly while holding hands in the middle of visitors Semawis Market which is getting denser and denser night.

"Sure, you don't want to tell me anything?"

Sandalwood only shook his head as Jati turned towards him.

"So you scared me." Teak deliberately included laughter at the end of his sentence, intent on melting the atmosphere.

"Sorry, Sir. I always do this when I hear loud music."

The music?

"Since his sister died, music is no longer something that appeals to Sandalwood."

Jaka's words reverberated in Jati's mind. God, why didn't he realize it?

Given that the music was medium tempo, not at all the type of music that has the potential to make a hang, Jati believes, Cendana had experienced a traumatic event that linked her sister's death to music. Butwhat?
