"He must be feeling hurt" Edward murmured softly but could be heard by Renata

"Am I going too far, my father" said Renata regretfully because he thought that Vera was like that because of him

"Don't you care, I was coffee with Ray all talking about business matters and it seems Vera was sitting in the corner apparently Ray knew him," explained Edward

"A lot of people know Vera" Renata said

Edward seems nervous because he thinks Renata doesn't know that Vera is a former night woman

"Dear, maybe Vera used to be an important person so many know her." Edward was lying

Not wanting anything to happen with Vera Edward, he visited Vera in his room

Long Edward knocked on the door, only to be opened by Vera

"Mas Edward's home?" ask Vera when the door opens

"Yes, can I come in? because there's something I want to talk to you about" Edward said

Vera opened the door of her room and let her husband in

Edward and Vera sat on the sofa

"I'm sorry for my friend Vera's attitude" Edward said

"Ray you mean?" ask Vera

Edward nodded and looked at Vera,

"He was not wrong, because what he said was true. I'm a jerk," Vera said with a nano

"But I'm not camouflaging my hijab, I just want to be a better human being" Vera said with tears falling

After Vera calms down, Edward invites Vera to a meal, but she calls Renata in the room.
