I'm Not a Bet

I'm Not a Bet
Meeting of Two men (2)

This morning Tristan drove his sport bike to Arindi's apartment. Throughout the journey his mind was unceasingly thinking about the girl.

He was curious and scared at the same time. What questions will he ask when he meets Arindi later. What answers will he get after that. Whether he'll lie or be honest.

He really hoped that the answer given by Arindi was not a bad thing as he thought. But what if the answer is the opposite. Did he hear all that.

No. gabe. Of course he's not ready. This was not something he used to face in his life. But if he doesn't ask, curiosity is like a virus that gnaws at him from within. Slowly but surely it destroyed him from the inside.

Tristan arrives at Arindi's apartment. He adjusted his suddenly hoarse voice and stretched his hands that were beginning to tremble.

Tristan pressed the doorbell of the apartment hesitantly. For a long time, he stared blankly at the door before him. But somehow courage from where he also got the strength to press the bell and ready to face whatever will appear before him.

Cklek. The door is open. Someone opened the door for him. Someone whose existence had never been imagined by him before. Someone who makes his heart hot as if burning fire.

His eyes stared intently and coldly at the figure of the man before him. He wished that someone would wake him up from this nightmare. But the existence of this figure in front of him was too real for him to consider just a dream.

Tristan's hands clenched. If he did not obey his common sense, his fist would have floated on the face of the man who was currently smiling sweetly at him. But he knew he would look worse if he put his muscles first than his brain.

"You're meeting Arindi, right?" said the man in front of him, who is none other than Anggara who is still sweet.

Tristan didn't answer Anggara's question. His blood was getting boiling hearing him mention that name. His gaze was sharp and piercing as a form of answer from the question just now.

Seeing Tristan behave so, of course, makes Anggara increasingly want to add anger in Tristan's body. Anggara was cynical. Her sweet face disappeared. Turned into a gaze that was no less cold and frightening.

"Darling... Someone's looking for you!" yelled Anggara at Arindi. He intentionally added the word 'honey' to his sentence.

Anggara did not know who the man who came to his sister's apartment this early in the morning. But he could guess that he must be a man close to him. He knows the nature of Arindi, his sister is not a person who easily get along with men. If this man knew where he lived then they would have been that close.

Although he did not know, he could guess the name of this man. He must be the man whose name was given the heart symbol in Arindi's contact. From the way he looked at himself, Anggara knew it was a suspicious look at someone whose whereabouts should not be seen here.

Tristan's anger grew more and more into hearing the sweet pretentious words Anggara had spoken just now. Moreover, when Anggara said like that, he saw Arindi who had just left the room in a hurry. The girl looks from behind Anggara's shoulder.

Tristan scanned from top to bottom how Arindi currently looks. The still-attached bathrobe and the twisting of wet hair on her head made Tristan's mind go everywhere.

Arindi who had come out with a quick run after reading the message given by Tristan, was still losing fast. Anggara's voice made him very shocked. Now the two men facing each other made it look like they were struck by lightning. "Slowly", inner.

"Tristan..," said Arindi as she walked closer. He also forced the large body Anggara. Aggara who felt like a barrier between them also increasingly had a crazy idea.

"Who is she, baby?" anggara asked smiling sweetly while wrapping her arms around Arindi's neck. His voice was half whispered in Arindi's ear but still clearly heard in Tristan's ears which began to tighten staring at Anggara's arm embrace.

"Fugitive!!" snapped Arindi while trying to release Anggara's embrace.

"Why rude really dear," Anggara said again while teasing Arindi.

"Getaway ga!" said Arindi increasingly feel uncomfortable with Anggara's childish attitude.

"Lo ga denger what did he say?" tristan said with a voice of restraining emotion. His eyes can not be separated from the eyes of Anggara who continues to look at the face of Arindi annoyed with sweet pretentious.

"Darling, who the hell is he?" anggara continued to ignore Tristan's murderous gaze. He deliberately did so because he wanted to hear Arindi's confession directly regarding her status with this man.

"He's my girlfriend, let go of your hand," said Arindi looking annoyed Anggara.

Tristan who heard Arindi's words immediately froze. He did not expect the girl would say that so easily as if there was no need to deny her existence. Although his feelings were chaotic since earlier but hearing Arindi's confession earlier made it seem as if there was a fresh wind blowing out of nowhere.

"Boyfriend yes, keep me what dear," said Anggara increasingly become-so.

"Few stop joking, I'm tired of understanding ga," said Arindi.

"Capek abis did say anyway..," added Anggara again.

"Lo ain't got no ears? Take off your hands right now!!" tristan said half-stomping.

"How can I not?" anggara then turned his face to Tristan. His eyes turned into sharp gazes directed straight into Tristan's eyes.

"Lo don't understand the manners? Lo ga understand if lo gini I can report to the police," said Tristan directly gripped tightly Anggara's wrist that is still wrapped around Arindi's neck.

Arindi began to feel an unpleasant feeling. "Cepet freelancing or...."

"Or what?" he stared softly at Arindi. "By the way dear dong, just released. This hand hurts a lot," he said, glancing at his arm that was still gripped by Tristan.

Arindi stared tensely at Anggara. Tristan was still frozen, he was also very much looking forward to how Arindi's reaction to Anggara's words earlier.

Arindi gave up, knowing that this would not be finished if she continued to insist on fighting Anggara. Although maybe Tristan will be disappointed, he will explain it later, Arindi thought. "Kak Anggara please release his hand yes," said Arindi while staring intently.

Tristan held back her emotions that suddenly wanted to explode hearing Arindi's sweet words to the man. He did not expect Arindi would just obey the man's words.

"Smile donk, the expression time is so dear" Anggara said sweetly to Arindi. He was satisfied Arindi finally gave up on him.

"Lo has crossed the line, he has followed the words elo, off now!" Tristan stiffened his hand.

Arindi once again gave in to Anggara's orders. He smiled at Anggara. They don't want to happen unwanted things.

Explaining Tristan's misunderstanding is much easier than fighting Anggara's wishes. Arindi knows very well Tristan's feelings at this time. But the most important thing now was to prevent the two from coming into contact with each other's hateful gazes. Because for Arindi these two men are important men in her life.
