I'm Not a Bet

I'm Not a Bet
The Beginning of the Meeting

The first day of ospek.

Arindi parked her Mini Cooper S in the parking lot. The clock still shows at half-seven in the morning, but he and Nadine have arrived at the campus first with the reason to be able to find a strategic parking lot that is not too far from the campus auditorium room.

Today will be the introduction of the campus leadership and the introduction of the campus student organization in the auditorium room to all new students. As a new student Arindi and her best friend are required to participate in this activity, although she does not like student activities.

Arindi saw an empty parking lot in the east part of the building, she parked her car there. He and Nadine get ready before going down. Arindi tidied up her white shirt, checked every button of her shirt and snapped her alma mater. While Nadine looks agitated to see the parking area is still empty.

"Why Nad? Are you confused about that?" ask Arindi.

"Well, are you sure we're parking where Rin is? Not there?" Nadine pointed to the parking lot at the back end of the auditorium where two cars were parked.

"Ah just calm Nad, here aja delicious, after all deket to the entrance too right? Come on down."

Uncompleted Arindi said, suddenly a red sports bike parked next to his car, right next to the car door where Arindi was sitting so that he could not open the car door. Arindi was surprised, she lowered her car glass.

"Woiii... Your eyes make a doang display huh? Can't you see there's a car?" Arindi yells.

Arindi is not a person who can withstand emotions. Of course he would put out a harsh word in this situation, even though he did not know who the interlocutor was. Behind Arindi, Nadine who really understands the nature of her best friend is trying to prevent Arindi from becoming more emotional, she tried to cover Arindi's mouth with her hands.

"Pa an sih Nad, mentang-about us maba, does not mean it should be stepped on as well." Arindi let go of Nadine's hand, her eyes still glaring towards the owner of the bike.

"Udah Rin, that's it. I see people ashamed."

Arindi again yelled at the owner of the motorbike who casually got off the top of his motorbike and walked away from his car without removing his helmet. While Nadine still prevents Arindi from getting angry.

Seeing the indifference of the owner of the motorbike, Arindi also closed the windshield of his car, he removed his seat belt. He intended to push the door hard and hoped the bike would fall. But suddenly the windshield of his car was knocked. Arindi who was just about to open her car was surprised, the owner of the motorbike appeared from the side of her car and knocked on the glass of her car.

Arindi lowered her car glass. The owner of the motorcycle bent his body high and then opened his helmet. A handsome face of a man with cold eyes was looking at him from behind the helmet now, in his hand there was a signboard that read 'special parking motor'. The man picked her up to show Arindi, then he walked around putting the sign in front of Arindi's car.

From inside the car, Arindi and Nadine seemed silent as the man placed a sign in front of his car. Arindi was shocked, Nadine swallowed her saliva.

"So this is a motorcycle parking lot? Why didn't you say it anyway? Pake pretty cool everything," Inner Arindi.

"Death to us Rin. Rin...." Nadine wiggled Arindi's shoulders which were just dumbfounded.

"Ah Nad, that means we parked in the wrong area huh?" Arindi is still trying to digest the situation.

"According to loh? Ah Rin, let's just back off, park there."

Arindi started the engine of her car, slowly she turned back the car. His eyes were still on the man.

"Gaya really you, same maba also use my front support, I wantin ya your face." That's how Arindi thinks, his easy-to-emotion nature makes it easy to conclude something that is not necessarily the truth.

...----------------...

"Well, where did you call Vivi and Rasya? Tell them we're at the entrance" asked Arindi.

"So I sent a message, I called first, you first went there, I followed" replied Nadine.

"Yes, I'm waiting at the entrance." Arindi walked towards the big door of the auditorium. Students began to arrive. Some people who wear clothes like the one Arindi is wearing show that they are freshmen.

Arindi also stood on one of the large pedestals in the auditorium corridor. He checked his phone, checked that there might be incoming messages from his best friend. Before long he heard a call from the microphone inside the auditorium indicating that the event was about to begin, the people standing outside rushed towards the entrance. Arindi began to fidget, she extended her neck to the left right hoping to see a familiar figure.

"Lo ga denger call from dalem?" A man's voice suddenly sounded behind Arindi. Arindi turned her head and found out that the owner of the voice was the man in the parking lot.

"He again. Elo again, I have a debt to you? What do you want me to hear, a big problem for you? I was wrong standing here. Ow, are there any warning signs prohibited from standing?"

Arindi began to rotate her body looking for something like a sign board that made her have trouble standing there. He looked annoyed at the man in front of him but the expression of the man remained flat looking at him.

"Owh, maybe you want me to apologize? Aja sono's dream," explained Arindi ketus.

"Tristan, are you still here?" A man came up to the man in front of Arindi and called her by the name of Tristan.

"Joe, just came in" replied Tristan.

The other man, named Joe, ignored Tristan's reply and looked at Arindi.

"Well the theme is apparently. errrgghh," Arindi's mind.

"Oh hi, freshman yeah, know my name. uh brother Jonathan's name, call me brother Joe." Joe reached out his hand inviting Arindi to shake hands. Tristan tries to stay away from them but Joe quickly stretches his left arm to Tristan's shoulder.

"One cool pretentious, another cool ass," Arindi's inner self again.

Arindi did not return the helping hand, she only glanced and remained silent, then looked back in the other direction. Seeing Arindi's reaction, Joe pulled his hand and tidied his hair up.

"Gue doesn't know him anyway, besides you are really cool from earlier, don't be pretentious, just as good as you are cool."

Joe laughed at Arindi's words, Tristan just stared flatly at Arindi.

"Maba ? Yes, the face of this brother is ageless, but beautiful, unfortunately this brother is already the fifth semester as rich as he is." Joe pointed at Tristan.

Arindi fell silent, she gulped her saliva. He turns to see Tristan and Joe.

"So they're level brothers? Oh God. Dare I really look for problems ama sister level? Please help me God." Arindi was embarrassed.

"Ehm hello." Joe waved his hand at Arindi. Arindi only realized that she was daydreaming about all her words to Tristan. He also hoped that if the earth was split and he could be lost in the earth. He also lowered his eyes.

"Surprised, you can understand, hahahaha. Owh yes we are not here because we are maba, this brother is a child of BEM, well he is also a child of BEM," Joe said while elbowing Tristan. "We want to perform here today."

"Dead me, BEM boy? Why am I angry at you all this time."

Arindi could not say, she bit her lower lip and clenched her mouth a sign that she felt guilty. He still did not dare to look at the two men in front of him. But that does not mean he does not dare to admit his mistakes if he is wrong.

"Sorry." Arindi said softly while bowing her head.

Tristan stared in shock, but he still did not want to respond to anything. Joe feels guilty about the apology Arindi said.

"That's right, don't apologize, you're a normal brother, you're younger" replied Joe, whose Pedenya exorbitant.

"It's not about that, sorry to be angry," explained Arindi slowly.

"Arindian...." Suddenly Rasya's loud voice called out from a distance, he waved at Arindi. Tristan and Joe have not returned his words but Arindi hastily leaves.

"Ah sorry sis, it has been called temen," interrupted Arindi. Arindi ran into the arms of her best friend.

"Arindi? So that's his name. Funny too. You can also Tan a clear clay, I think you don't like girls," said Joe.

"Whenever here? I should have asked you that, I just saw you already drive in by the side uh keep you arrive come turn here, I've been calling you ga denger, it turns you here. Why try you here."

"Gue ga denger" said Tristan ngeles.

"Yes that's your ears ga denger, your eyes look beautiful girl, so I've said once dating the same cake girl, join that Tan ama man."

"Ga obviously, let's go in" Tristan asked.

"But Tan, which child was he? You don't ask?"

"What's the same thing with me?"

"Ga is there for you Tan, but there is for me, clear rich is dear to be taken," joked Joe.

"Why are you?" Tristan's eyes stiffened.

"Damn it, diem you the show has started."

Joe chuckles at his friend Tristan.

Meanwhile, Arindi and her best friend sat down.

"Rin isn't that guy in front of you in the parking lot?" ask Nadine.

"Not really." Arindi doesn't want to remember.

"Cowo's? Wh who? Which one?" Vivian curious.

"That tall one... her face is pretty decent... You know Rin?", asked Rasya.

"Enggaaa.. it's already on the show to start." Arindi desperately hopes she no longer meets the man, without him knowing and realizing that someone is hoping to see her again.
