Nadine opens the door to Arindi's room. Inside Rasya's room was replacing Arindi's clothes. "Where is He?" ask Nadine.
"There was a bruise on his shoulder. He's hit something. The body is hot but also sweaty. I need to change his clothes. Can you get a compress?"
"Okeh. Tristan told me everything about Anggi. He said Arin was pushed by Anggi".
"I thought it was a fucking girl. Aunt Acha, did you call? He lemes Nad, he realized he just can't say much, you know for yourself if he's sick," explained Rasya.
Arindi is always fit, she rarely gets sick. But he'll really drop when he gets sick.
"Udah, the OTW is here. Here's the compress," exclaimed Nadine to give a compress to Rasya.
.
.
Tristan waited anxiously at Arindi's doorstep. Inside the room, Nadine and Rasya stood beside Arindi. Aunt Acha who just came is checking on Arindi. All stared anxiously at Arindi's body lying limp.
After checking Arindi, Aunt Acha also re-cleaned the equipment he used. Then take a piece of paper and start writing. Then he stood up and gave the paper to Nadine.
"Arindi is sleeping now. He had a bruise on his shoulder maybe he hit a hard object. At this time the wound should be immediately compressed with ice water. This aunt has prescribed pain relievers and topical medications so that the wound heals quickly. And again...." Aunt Acha did not continue her words. He looked at Nadine and Rasya.
"It is better that he does not have too many thoughts so that his condition quickly improves" he added.
"Iyya aunty" replied Nadine and Rasya simultaneously.
"Thank you aunt" they said again.
Rasya, Nadine and Aunt Acha are about to leave Arindi's room. As the door of the room opened, Tristan who was waiting anxiously seemed to be slightly jolted.
Nadine pats Tristan on the shoulder. "He's calm he's gapapa" he said, calming Tristan.
"Oh... Yes thankfully. Oiya thank you aunt" Tristan told doctor Acha.
"Do not hesitate, if there is anything contact aunt immediately. But...." Aunt Acha looked at Tristan in wonder. "Aunty ain't never squirming at him, new resident?"
Tristan was just about to introduce himself but Nadine had preceded him.
"Owh she's Arindi's aunt's boyfriend."
"Owwhh, aunt pantes never see... Then auntie pamit. Oh yeah, I bet he didn't use his hands to paint a few days ago."
Aunt Acha was saying goodbye. Nadine and Rasya drove forward. Tristan sat next to Arindi. He clasped the girl's palm hiding it under his bowed face.
Nadine and Rasya return to the room after delivering Aunt Acha. They were stunned as they walked into Arindi's room, looking at Tristan who was just sitting weakly bowed beside Arindi.
Since they came they both realized something that Tristan was worried about Arindi more than them, Tristan's eyes reddened with sadness, his face was in a state of turmoil, his hair was no longer neatly combed.
They were not only worried about his best friend now, but also the man beside him. They don't know what to do now. They couldn't tell him to go home, but they didn't dare ask him to stay either. Rasya approached him.
"Sister, you should also rest, brother" said Rasya slowly.
Tristan was surprised. He was unaware of both of them. He looked at them in a fixed position holding Arindi's hand. "Oh, I'm gapapa really," replied Tristan.
This man will not move from here a step, he will certainly not leave here if Arindi is still like this, thought Nadine and Rasya.
"See we're out. I want to buy medicine that has been prescribed," Nadine told Rasya. "Tan, if we go out first buy this medicine," said Nadine later.
"Owh yes. Let me buy it...."
"Go ahead, let us do it, "cut Rasya quickly.
Nadine and Rasya finally go to the pharmacy leaving Tristan and Arindi alone.
...----------------...
Nadine returned after a few minutes. He got the medication in question. He returned alone because Rasya had to go to his studio now. Nadine actually could not for long because he and Rasya have a task that they have to complete.
Vivian could not be reached because she was out of town. In addition they entrusted Arindi to Tristan. After giving Tristan the medicine, Nadine left.
Tristan himself now. Arindi is still asleep. His shoulder had been given a compress plaster so as not to swell. Tristan held onto the girl's forehead, still feverish. He compresses the girl's forehead with warm water.
I don't think the clock showed at 9 p.m. Tristan touched the girl's forehead again. The fever has gone down. He sat back in the chair beside Arindi's bed. He held Arindi's palm. He was relieved that his fever had gone down.
Tristan put his head to sleep, making his right arm the base of his head while the other arm held the girl's arm. He's tired. Tristan was asleep.
...----------------...
He wanted to move his right hand but was restrained. He only realized that Tristan was there, he was still asleep while holding Arindi's hand. Arindi just smiled looking at the man. He slowly removed his hand from Tristan's. He touches Tristan's hair slowly, afraid to wake her up.
Arindi tried to sit down, her throat felt hoarse, her tongue dry. He saw a glass of water on the nightstand next to his bed. He slowly extended his hand, but did not arrive. If he moves he's afraid Tristan will wake up. He stopped trying and sat looking at Tristan.
Suddenly Tristan wakes up. He realized his grip had been released, meaning that the girl had awakened. He also raised his head. He found the girl smiling at him.
"Did Arin wake up brother?" said Arin softly.
"When did you wake up?" tristan asked while trying to wake himself up.
"Newly brother, Arin's thirsty."
"Oh." Tristan stood up, he took a drink on the nightstand and gave it to Arindi. Tristan sits sideways on Arindi's bed, facing the girl. "You also have to take this medicine" Tristan said, giving Arindi some of the medicine.
His eyes looked at the girl's face. Arindi's face looks blushed no longer pale as before. It means that he has felt a little better thought Tristan Arindi who felt very thirsty, spending all the contents of the glass.
"You again?" tristan asked who realized that the glass in Arindi's hand was empty.
"Udah is enough brother."
Tristan put the glass back in place. He sat down next to the girl and touched Arindi's forehead to make sure she was not in a fever anymore. "You're already down."
Arindi glanced at the compress on the nightstand and a medicine plastic. "So Arin's in the compress?"
"Yes your body is hot."
"What medicine is it?"
"Pain relief equals topical medication for your shoulder."
Arindi also looked towards her aching shoulder. Because of his sleeveless shirt he could immediately see a purplish-red bruise on his shoulders covered in compress plaster.
"So because of this Arin was sick and also had a fever?"
"Yep. Uhm Rin's...." Tristan looked gently at Arindi's face. "No apologies for Arin's trouble again." Tristan apologized sincerely.
"It's not brother's fault. Actually Arin who wants to apologize, Arin should have told his sister from the beginning about the bet. Arin feels guilty because you have to be shunned by someone else."
Just as Tristan was feeling, guilt reverberated in Arindi's mind, the piercing pain came back to his heart.
"On that... Brother doesn't bother about it. If it is later...."
Arindi quickly cut off Tristan's words. "Engga brother. There's something Arin has to say, we've canceled all that betting. Arindi's same brother now not because of that bet. That's because...."
He stopped talking. He hesitates to tell her his true feelings, still fearing Tristan would not believe him. He looked at Tristan. Tristan scrunched his forehead.
"Because... Arin likes brother."
Tristan froze at Arindi's words just now. His heart was very relieved, the tightness that had been stuck in one corner of his heart disappeared instantly. Now only his heartbeat filled his head. He smiled meaningfully at Arindi. They also looked at each other.
Tristan raised his right hand and pointed it at the girl's face then gently rubbed her cheek. Their hearts rhythmically filled the silence of the night. Slowly Tristan brought his face closer to Arindi, he kissed the girl's lips. Arindi also returned the kiss dear Tristan.
Tristan clasped both hands to Arindi's face. They both really enjoyed their kiss. Until unknowingly Tristan's hand touched Arindi's aching shoulder. Arindi who was in pain pulled her lips and then grimaced a little.
"Awww..."
Tristan was shocked, not realizing that his hand was touching right where it hurt. "Ah sorry... Brother forgot."
Arindi just smiled looking at Tristan's shocked face.
"Dear you are sleeping again. Brother wait."
"Sister who should rest. Oh yes..," Arindi looked at the clothes Tristan was still wearing. "If you want to go home break gapapa. Brother hasn't changed clothes, has he?"
"Why? Does it smell bad?" Tristan kissed her shirt because Arindi said that. He was afraid that his body smelled bad.
"That's right, brother." Arindi smiled then hugged Tristan suddenly. The shocked Tristan immediately returned his embrace cautiously. He was afraid to touch the sick part again.
"Arin just thought maybe brother would change his clothes," said Arindi still hugging Tristan.
"Yes, sister knows. My sister will also come home when you sleep. So sleep again huh?"
Arindi just nodded, she let go of her embrace. Arindi is still sleepy plus the drug that causes drowsiness. He also lay back to his bed. Tristan sat by Arindi's bed. Both of his hands tightly clasped Arindi's hands. His eyes did not come off that face.
He really is the best medicine for Arindi right now.
