Eps 13 - On the Way

After dinner with the first one, they rode the mobik driven by Aris to the boarding house, along the way Aira did not stop smiling. Sometimes Aira glanced at Aris who was driving.

Then Aira rushed to clean up and change her clothes and went to bed because she was very sleepy. He is unaware of Aris's missed call and a few short messages that Aris sent.

Aris read the message trembling, she immediately spurred her car towards the house at high speed. Arriving at home, Aris saw several people and ambulances in front of his house. When he got out of the car, the ambulance drove to the hospital.

"I just got home from work, ma'am" Aris explained. Aris immediately entered his house and saw the condition of the house is a mess. He immediately went out and locked the door, then said goodbye to the residents and Ms. RT who was still in front of his house.

"I followed my wife to the hospital, ma'am" Aris said immediately to the hospital. On the way Aris remembered that tomorrow he had an appointment with Aira, then he immediately called Aira but Aira did not answer him. then Aris gave a short oesan to Aira.

A short message from Aris to Aira, but Aira did not reply. Aris drove his car at high speed to the hospital. As soon as he reached the hospital, Aris immediately headed to the Emergency Unit and saw his wife lying unconscious.

There are doctors and some nurses who are doing Ressa a favor. The nurse took an infusion and treated the wound on Ressa's head and tried to put a bandage. But soon the nurse approached Aris who was watching from afar.

" Have you come out Miss Ressa?" Ask the nurse

"Well, how's my wife doing?" Ask Aris worried.

"He was critical because the blood coming out of his head was quite a lot and the wound was rather deep, so we had to have surgery." Bright nurse. Hearing him Aris was surprised, he did not expect anything bad to happen to his wife.

Aris approached Ressa who was still unconscious. He held Ressa's hand and let out a long sigh.

"Sorry sir can you tell me the chronology?" Said the nurse.

"I also did not know clearly, once I came home from work, my wife had been taken by ambulance. I should have gone home early." Aris Sesal. If he hadn't had dinner with Aira, maybe Ressa wouldn't be like this.

The nurse took Ressa to the surgery room. Aris waited in front of the surgical room alone, she sat there with regret. Seeing Ressa unconscious with a head covered in blood.

Time seemed to be running so slowly, Aris had walked back and forth, sat down and stood up again. Finally, the red light in the surgical room has been extinguished, indicating the surgery is complete.

After that a doctor came out and some nurses also came out.

"Dok how my wife?" Ask Aris without a stale ado

"The situation has improved, the wound is quite deep and we sewed 17 stitches. I think it was a sharp object wound that was hit very strongly" explained the surgeon.

"The anesthetic will last about 2 hours, now your wife will be transferred to the treatment room." Obviously the nurse and they left Aris.

Aris sat down in relief, he saw the clock showing at 1 am. He let out a long sigh.then Aris immediately walked towards Ressa's treatment room. He looked at his wife and sat down on the sofa next to Ressa's bed.

Aris looked at him for a long time, then took a glass of drinking water. He was thirsty and sleepy. While waiting for his wife to wake up, Aris spilled her body on the sofa. Aris did not feel asleep while accompanying Ressa.
