"What is all this?". Shinta asked, holding her breath.

"What's?". Ricko asked, pretending not to understand.

"Oh my God, what did you do to me and why did you set me up?". Ask Shinta again.

"I don't understand what you mean".

"Then what is all this, why is my house in magic like this and mom says if in one week I'll get married soon". Shinta said annoyedly then she sighed. "You have the heart for me sir, I thought you would help me out of trouble but in fact, it's already helped me out of this". Threaten Shinta later.

"What problems?". The question from Ricko is able to make Shinta's emotions explode so she pulls Ricko's collar.

Ricko puts on a flat face when Shinta seems to threaten him because the man is really very relaxed facing the woman so that makes Shinta release her hand grip on the collar of Ricko shirt by itself. "Sorry sir". Said the woman awkwardly and tried to tidy up the collar again. Ricko did not give any response.

Shinta who was desperate then put on a face of compassion and stared intensely at Ricko's face she hoped the man would really help her this time but in fact the man was just indifferent and threw away his gaze so that makes Shinta pull Ricko's face with both hands.

"Master look at my face, is there not the slightest pity for me from you, I really can't marry Rian mas because-". Shinta said softly but immediately cut off because someone pulled her hand very roughly.

"O Lord Shinta, what are you doing huh?". The sudden touch of mother came.

"Mum-bu I just-". Answer Shinta stammering.

"You know not, though, your sudden marriage is enough to make our neighbors and all the villagers gossip and think you are married because you are pregnant first and it is difficult enough to make the mother have a headache answering their questions, and now that you're doing this shameful thing what if the neighbors saw it they'd think the gossip was true". Mother again.

"But mom I just-". Again Shinta's words were cut off by mother.

"Can't you just be patient for a little while longer, you're getting married this week and you can do whatever you want after that, it's a shame when women are more aggressive than men". The mother grumbled and then pulled her daughter away.

Shinta really tried to digest what her mother said let alone the words "you can do whatever you want" because it means the man who will marry her is not Rian but Ricko.

Shinta looked at Ricko with a question mark and the man just smiled wryly as he blinked one of his eyes and even made Shinta reflectively blink both of his eyes when he saw that. It is very difficult to believe because it turns out that what happened is really beyond the reason of women.

That was the last time he could interact face-to-face and face with Ricko because after that his mother and even his father severely limited their space even to just face-to-face other than for reasons do not want to happen things do not want the mother also said if it is not good if the bride and groom meet too often before the wedding.

Then came the idea to meet Ricko in the middle of the night. when everyone has fallen asleep even though the wedding day is only one day away but it is not too late compared to the regret of a lifetime that he will feel after marriage later.

Shinta secretly sneaks into Ricko's room and Shinta feels very lucky because the man did not lock the door so he can freely enter after he had previously confirmed if both parents you slept well.

"Wake". Shinta jolts with a fixed volume of sound that she controls as well as possible so as not to cause a commotion.

Ricko squirms and grabs his blanket without opening his eyes so much that he does not realize if he only sleeps in shorts and is bare-chested. "What are you doing these nights in my room?". Ask Ricko.

"I-i-i". Shinta said stammered because the woman felt that her heartbeat was difficult to control.

"Hey, stop kidding now tell me what's your plan huh?". Ask Shinta back.

"What plan, I'm sleeping and you're bothering me".

"Oh my goodness, tell me why you're planning this ridiculous wedding, anyway I don't want to know this wedding has to be canceled".

"OK". Said Ricko indifferently then he put his body back on the bed.

"Okay, just like that your response?". Shinta asked in disbelief.

"If I have to what?, just tell me what's your plan to cancel this marriage and I'll do it".

"Emmh, that I don't know, w-do you have a plan?".

"I'm leaving early tomorrow so we won't get married". Ricko said again.

"Well, but can I ask you something?".

"What's?".

"Why do you want to cancel this wedding just like that, don't you have a lot to lose because all the wedding preparations are ready one hundred percent, it must have cost you a lot of money right?".

"So you regret my wasted money but you don't think about how sad your fate was after the groom-to-be left you one day before the wedding, imagine how your pride and most importantly the self-worth of both your parents will be trampled by everyone and one of them will definitely not be a man who will want to propose to you again after this is". Ricko said as if without burden.

But what is said by Ricko is able to make Shinta pause for a moment and think hard. "Are you threatening me?. Shinta asked full of questions.

"Tell me which sentence contains a threat?".

"But I can't possibly marry you sir".

"I'm not forcing either".

Shinta could not imagine how her fate and her parents would be if her marriage was suddenly annulled. "Then don't go, sir". Shinta said lethargicly.

"What am I here for?".

"For?".

"I'll stay here if you insist and tell me the reason why I didn't leave". Said Ricko cunningly and Shinta knew very well the man did it on purpose.

"You already know the reason so I don't have to say it anymore".

"But you kicked me out so I'll leave unless you force me to stay".

"Oh my God, well sir, please don't go stay here".

"Alright but I need to know why".

"Married to me, sir".

"Oh my goodness you proposed to me, alright since you are the first woman to propose to me so I will accept it". Imbuh Ricko with a sly smile.

Shinta sniffed annoyed at his superior's cunning behavior, she should have known if asking for a solution to the man was a big mistake because indeed the man was very cunning. "Looks like I'm so crazy about her, you little man and so sly, look when I'm your wife I'm going to torture you every day". He gets upset and leaves Ricko's room.
