"This is your house?". Maira asked Anna when they had arrived at a simple but very comfortable house Anna just nodded her head.
"Let's go in, please". Anna invites Maira to enter her house.
"I told you not to call me Miss again, I'm your friend not your master anymore". Maira's words were firm and Anna only smiled faintly.
The two of them finally mingled with joy especially about Annabelle's pregnancy because Maira was very happy with the woman's pregnancy even she to imagine what if someday she became pregnant at once her face turned sad when the shadow of pregnancy appeared in her mind because it was impossible to happen after her marriage and Rian was void and it was almost impossible if she could marry another man in her life.
"Why you?". Anna asked curiously at Maira's suddenly changing attitude and Maira simply shook her head slowly while sighing deeply.
"Tell me where Mr. Rian is right now and how you're getting married?". Anna asked curious about the life of Maira and also the man she had wanted so much.
Maira closed her eyes and imagined the handsome face of the man she loved so much. How much Maira misses Rian with all the strange but loving behavior of the man to her after that Maira also began to tell all the things that happened between her and Rian to reason why until now they were separated and their marriage plans were canceled.
Anna listened to everything carefully, the pregnant woman should be happy with the news of the separation and cancellation of the marriage of Rian and Maira because then she still has a chance to get Rian or at least there will be no woman who can getting Rian either Maira or herself but Anna actually feels sad and compassionate about the fate of Maira's romance and also Rian.
Either the love that was in his heart for the man had faded or even his heart had become numb after the many events that he had experienced all this time but the clear news about the cancellation of Maira's marriage and Rian made her feel uncomfortable.
"Maira, isn't it all the past and we should forget about it and continue the beautiful future before our eyes". Said Anna who seemed to give wise advice to Maira.
"Either An, I fear that the shadows of the past will continue to haunt our lives in the future". Maira answered flatly, clearly visible in Anna's eyes if Maira tried to hide her tears that were inundated in the corner of her beautiful eyes.
"Well if that's what you think it is, then can you live without it?, yes at least continue your life normally again and fall in love or even marry another man". Anna asked curiously and Maira only kept silent a thousand languages because it was impossible for her to resume her life as normal as ever.
"I know the answer without you having to answer it. Maira, isn't living with her and trying to forget the past so much easier than living without her but it feels like your soul is numb?". Ask Anna wisely again. Out of nowhere all the wise words that came out of his mouth because in fact he himself could never make peace with his own past.
Maira looked at Anna with a difficult look but seemed to justify what the pregnant woman said. "You're right An, I should have thought that way". Maira answered enthusiastically and immediately hugged Anna.
"Then should I find him or see him now?". Ask Maira later.
"Hey, there's no need to rush like that, you know love will find its place in its own way you only need to convince yourself that the past is nothing compared to the magnitude of your love for Mr. Rian". Answer Anna.
"Oh my goodness, you have always been able to calm me down An, that's why I lost you so much when you just disappeared without telling me. Well you've had a hard time knowing everything about my life so far now it's your turn to tell me everything about you". Maira's Word.
"Let's tell me quickly, you're so cheating on how you got married but I don't know". Cibir Maira while going around looking at the state of Anna's house because she was so curious about the figure of the man who had married Anna that she tried to find the figure of the man who might have been on display by Anna just there.
"Hey, why do you just keep quiet, let's quickly tell me everything, who is your husband and where is he now, is he at work?". Ask Maira again impatiently.
"I-I never got married and didn't have a Maira husband". Anna said in a stammering voice.

Maira was very surprised by Anna's words just now but she tried to understand it might be natural for the woman especially she was in a free country like today to have children without having ties the wedding.
"Well, that's not An's problem, then where is your lover right now aren't you staying together, either?".
"I don't have a boyfriend either".
"W-what?, then?, don't say if-". Maira was unable to continue her words when she saw the deep sadness that was clearly visible in the eyes of her best friend because she was very afraid that what was on her mind had happened to Anna.
Anna wiped her tears and nodded her head slowly. "Yes, I was pregnant without a husband and also without Maira's lover, that man had taken everything away from me regardless of how sick I felt". Anna said as she sobbed.
Maira immediately hugged Anna tightly trying to be a place for the pregnant woman to share her grief. Maira now understands why Anna suddenly left without news even living alone abroad.
After a while hugging Anna and calming the woman Maira then looked back at Anna's face intensely. "Who is he, where is he now?". Maira and Anna asked just shaking their heads.
"Did she not acknowledge and take responsibility for your pregnancy?".
"It's not like that but I'm not sure if he can be a good father to my son Maira, I'm the son of a broken home family where my father is completely irresponsible to me and my mother so I don't want my son to experience the same thing in his life". Clearly Anna was at length and Maira could immediately understand the circumstances experienced by Anna.
"Did she know you were pregnant with her child?". Maira asked again and Anna again shook her head. "May I know who An is?". Maira asked hesitantly and Anna immediately looked at her with a gaze that was very difficult to understand.
