Chapter 5

Shim is watching Nara being treated by Alex. Alex is a friend of Shim, now he is a professional doctor and works for the jeon family. It was all he did to return the favor to the jeon family who always helped him when he was in trouble.

" How's he doing, is he okay?

the sentence was always Shim blurted, making Alex less concentrated when treating Nara.

" Can you shut up for a while" Alex still painstakingly applied the ointment to Nara's injured face area.

" How can I be silent huh" Shim said as he sipped a drink in his hand.

" Keep your mouth shut tight, then you'll be quiet" Alex recircled as if to belittle Shim. But he deliberately wanted to tease his friend.

" Do you want to die huh" Shim stared intently at Alex.

" Hahaha, relax Shim. I was just kidding. He's fine.no need to worry I've treated him as best I can." Shim's face became calmer when he heard Alex's words.

" Now tell me. What happened to him hmm" said Alex who was sitting near Shim.

Alex already considers Shim as his sister. He always understood and was always there when Shim was in a slump due to the actions of his family.

Same with Shim, he loves Alex. Only Alex is always there for him. If Shim has a problem, then he'll complain to Alex.

" I'm asking. It would be impolite to ignore the words of an older person." Shim just looked at Alex who was waiting for an answer to his question.

" I slapped him"

" You're serious? Your slap is pretty amazing" a frown was clearly visible on Shim's forehead. He did not understand what Alex said.

" What do you mean"

" when did you raise your hand to a woman?" Shim just kept quiet, he was afraid to say back to Alex.

" Is this because of Jasmin?" Alex suppressed his words when he mentioned Jasmin's name.

" He spoke disrespectfully to Jasmin. I spontaneously slapped him, I was also surprised by what I did." Shim ruffles his hair, remembering the incident where he injured Nara.

" Just because of Jasmine huh" Alex breathed a rough sigh.

" Hear me. If Jasmin said a disrespectful word to Nara, would you also slap her? Answer!" Said Alex who immediately cut off Shim's words

Shim just kept quiet, he didn't want to answer Alex's question.

" You can't even answer my question haiis.."

" What do you really want, why from earlier you just corner me. Don't make me more frustrated. I beg you" Shim began to get annoyed with Alex, who always cornered him. He knows that Alex did this because Alex cares about him.

" Don't make me dare to fight you, Lex." Shim answered briefly, but was full of threats.

Alex took all his medical equipment and walked away from Shim. Alex stopped in front of the door and looked at the shim who was still sitting pensively.

" If you can't accept Nara, then let her go. You need to know, there are still many men who want Nara. Even though her status will be a widow." Shim just kept quiet and stared at Alex's departure. He was right in the lema with the words of Alex.

Alex pov.

On the way to the hospital, Alex keeps thinking about Nara.

" Oh come on, what's wrong with you, lex, why do you always think of that woman's hais." Alex murmured inwardly

a moment later Alex smiles at her own smile, while remembering she has been treating Nara.

" He's really pretty. I've only seen him for the first time, but I'm interested in getting to know him better.. But why doesn't shim like it? Is that kid not normal."

pov Nara's

" Lit."

Nara began to wake up from her stupor. As she opened her eyes, Nara saw Shim sitting on the side of the bed.

" She, a. what"

" Be calm. I just want to make sure that you're okay." Say shim who immediately interrupts Nara's words.

" This, if you feel pain again, then apply this ointment." said Shim while thrusting the ointment given from Alex to Nara.

" B... Thank you" said Nara blazed.

" Now night your parents will come."

" b... Really" Nara's eyes sparkled when she heard her parents were coming. She misses her parents so much, even though they just separated a week ago.

" Hm."

" I'm sorry for not doing you well. I really got out of control." said Shim who was staring at Nara. Nara who heard the apology from Shim immediately smiled.

" I got it. I'm sorry too, I shouldn't have said anything bad to Jasmin" Lirih Nara.

" No problem, don't repeat. Madam Jeon was not suitable to say such a thing. Understand that" Nara immediately nodded, looking a smile etched beautifully on her lips.

" Beautiful" Shim muttered inwardly.

shim immediately turned his gaze away..
