"Heah.., Haah." My breath was hunting, my heart was beating violently, scratches were throbbing, fresh blood was flowing mixed with sweat. Both my legs were shaking violently.
If I don't miscalculate, it's been almost thirty minutes I've been avoiding Alan's slash, even though some have scratched my face and shoulders.
"Lane. Can rest?" Ask me for gasps .
"A few more slashes." And after saying that Alan scumbagged forward sending slashes towards my head. I jumped trying to dodge, but I fell because my exhausted legs did not
able to support my body when landing. Make my ass have to kiss the ground back.
I was panting, my chest felt tight from exhaustion. Avoiding slashes at a speed that cannot be seen by the eyes is not easy. Eyes being useless, I can only rely on the reflexes of the body to predict the attack.
The sword in Alan's grasp vanished into flames, then extinguished in the wind. Alan reached into the pocket of his black pants then pulled out a red jasmine. With a sinless expression he stretched it out to me.
"Eat" he said flatly
"sorry. Nani?!" I frowned, not understanding the Caucasian in front of me.
"This dagger is a rare plant that only grows in various countries and one of them is Indonesia. In addition to the smell that can repel the spirit, this flower has great properties in healing." Alan explained. I accepted it and held it.
"It's sweet." Alan convinced. I nodded and threw it in my mouth, sweet as honey!. After that my body feels so warm, the warmth is very similar when drinking ginger. The throbbing pain is now fading.
"Hey, Alan did you feel this way too during your training to be a hunter?" Ask suddenly.
"Right, I might say worse." Said flat.
"How long? His practice time?"
"One year. That includes the fastest,"
"normally?"
"Three to four years."
Silent moment. I was surprised to hear that
"By the way about hunters. Are these village waraga the hunters?" I guess broke the silence.
"Dominant, but that's why it's called a hunter's village." Alan sat three meters in front of me."The people in this village are poor people who are saved by hunters from the devil. Not a few more like you, than to let them despair. We, the hunters, decided to bring them here and hope to give them happiness," Alan looked up at the sky "All the residents here are family, friends. In the company they protect each other. Some become hunters for revenge, but not a few also sincerely want to protect humans. Those who become hunters wander on missions while the rest who do not decide to become farmers in this village,"
"Why are you a hunter by the way?"
"I want to protect everything I can protect with my power. That's all." Alan said it with a flat expression, but his orange eyes emitted a deep sadness.
"Come on home." Alan stood up and walked into the fog which was followed by me. During the trip we were quiet and did not talk to each other.

Doc!Doc!Doc!
I don't know who's banging on the door, which must have made me jump out of bed.
"Wake Up Dit! We're training!" Alan behind the door exclaimed.
"Yes for a minute!"
"Five minutes out, no breakfast for you!" Alan exclaimed from behind the door and then followed the sound of footsteps away.
I hurried to stand up and walked out of the room. I walked out of the house, in the yard, Alan was waiting with two large bamboo baskets. The morning wind gushed my face making me shiver.
"Now!" Alan threw the basket at me, thankfully I received it. Then Alan leisurely walked, somewhere to go. Fifteen minutes walk, we arrived at the carrot field belonging to one of the residents.
"Report the carrot and put it in the basket. If it is full, run towards the village gate and pour carrots into the wooden crate that has been provided. If so, go back and fill your basket to the brim and repeat again until all the carrots in the paddy field have run out." Alan explained
I swallowed spit. Glancing at the distance of this rice field with the village gate, the distance was about five hundred meters. Adding to the three-hectare rice field that lay in front of me, made me even more frustrated.
"Must run?" Ask me to explain
"Yes, if I'm caught I won't run." Alan said seriously, his orange eyes staring intently at me.
"Have a go!!" I was frustrated, then I jumped into the rice field and started plucking Carrots.
This training is going to be hell.

The hot sun roasts the skin, making people reluctant to leave the house, but different from me. With the spirit of four-five, I ran with all my might without caring tired. Believe it or not for nearly four hours I did this. Running back and forth while carrying a basket of carrots weighing forty kilograms.
I couldn't stop because Alan kept running behind me from earlier, staking out with his orange eyes.
Up in the fields, I laid my body on the ground. I set my breath, my legs were throbbing like swelling, my head was dizzy. Before long my stomach rang asking to be filled, ah yes I have not had breakfast.
"More." Alan who was sitting next to thrust a bowl of cuangki, I accepted it and got up to sit. In spirit I devoured the most delicious food in the world.
"You're not eating?" I asked Alan next to me.
"Before waking you up." Answer's flat.
"Oh.." I nodded "Oh yeah, the carrot was sold to the city, right?"
"really. To the center of the traditional market in Bandung, this village became one of the largest suppliers of vegetables in Bandung." Said relaxed.
"Oh.now we're in Bandung," I nodded. The food over the bowl has been washed out.
"Now, red jasmine tea," Alan thrust a glass of tea at me, I accepted it and immediately gulped it down to nothing left. Warm spread throughout the body. Red jasmine is magical.
"Alright, it's reflex practice time," Alan jumped to his feet.
"Hey, my energy hasn't recovered yet" Ketus.
"Keep what do I care? to get tired, you don't have to practice. No word to complain. Being a hunter is so hard," Alan raised his sword then pointed it right into my face "Stand up!" said cold.
I gulped, if I fought his long business, anyway from the beginning I was the one who wanted to be a hunter. I also stood up.
"We're into the fog forest." He lowered the sword and reduced it to fire. He turned and walked towards the destination. I breathed a heavy breath. In a few minutes I will feel tired again.

The drap!The drap!
My feet agilely jumped here and there, trying to avoid the sword slashes that began to craze. Today there was a little progress, I was able to last over thirty minutes without a single scratch. I could feel my body's reflexes starting to increase.
I stood exactly two meters in front of Alan, our eyes sending each other wary gazes, I put up the horses to prepare to dodge.
Alan charged forward, his right hand preparing to send a slash. As we stayed a meter away, he prepared to throw a slash. I quickly jumped to the left.
BUGH!!
Alan's left fist hit me in the face while I was in the air. A trick move, his right hand did not move at all. My body was also slammed into the ground. I complained, the attack was very shocking.
"Hey! sneaky put on the fist!" Angry shouting.
"Origin can sharpen your reflexes not a problem" he said as if he had no sin.
"But stay crafty!!" my call does not accept.
"sorry. Reflex" Alan apologized, though his tone was flat "Then we rest as a form of apology."
I nodded, this is what I was waiting for. From this morning I did not rest at all, my body continued to be forced to work hard despite fatigue. Alan sat a few feet in front of me.
"You're great. Rarely is a person who can develop this fast, in just a day you can surpass your previous survival record, as well as your physique is stronger than I thought," Alan praised with a flat expression.
"Thank you.but it's still tiring." Answer me. I lay my body on the ground, my breath still roaring.
"Are you practicing physical first?" Alan asked.
"Not so often, I've been fighting more since Junior High. Maybe that's the factor, my body already has reflexes from the past but I've never trained seriously." I looked up at the sky, I was also very surprised by what I had done. I really can't believe I can still move with all the pain in my body.
Alan was silent for a moment, his orange eyes staring at me flat.
"Why?" my many.
"You're talented. Then you can be a hunter soon."
"Oh yeah? how long is it?" Ask enthusiastically.
"One year."
"For a long time" I raised an eyebrow "What are the requirements of being a hunter anyway?" Keep me on my feet while trying to get up to sit down.
"The condition is yes it passed the hunter's exam. But if you don't have enough fighting experience, you can get killed in the middle of the exam, at least come back with your body parts cut off." Alan said casually, and as he said that I shuddered in horror.
"What is the test really like?" I'm curious.
"not necessarily. The test must be random every year."
"If you have graduated? will it carry out the mission?"
"really. If the mission is successful you will be rewarded from the center of the hunter organization. Uncertain rewards can be money or valuables."
"Forget the test and the mission. You haven't even mastered magic." Alan stood up. "Wake up, it's been over five minutes." Reciprocity.
I grumbled in my heart, but stood up as well. I don't know how long my body will last. My legs were already shaking, my chest felt so tight, my whole body was in excruciating pain.
