Apology and Honesty

A week after that, Akbar was only able to meet Niki mentally strong, today there must be a bright spot between the two of them.

"Abang, why did you bring me here? Tumben Abang take the road?" Ask Niki.

"There are important things I want to tell you" Akbar said.

"What's that?" Ask Niki.

"About my feelings and about our future" Akbar said.

"Don't Akbar want to shoot me again, um shy" Inner Niki.

"I'm in a match" Akbar said.

"What!!" Niki said in shock, her guess missed, which she thought would be shot, apparently wanted to discuss her matchmaking.

"Yes, I'm in a match. Her name is Fatim, she is a Muslim woman, hijab-wearing and very simple. What say?"Tanya Akbar was relieved.

"Niki, we can be friends as usual, I, You, Yasha, Jesicca and Oshi, we do together as before. I have to marry her Niki, please understand" Akbar said.

"Is there not the slightest taste for me Bang?" Ask Niki.

"I like you!"Akbar.

"Can't your love be love?" Ask Niki.

"I'm sorry!"Akbar.

"Am I really not going to have another chance to be a part of your life?" Ask Niki.

"You will get better than me, Niki" Akbar said.

"Thank you, you know the joker story? He's evil, isn't he, yeah! He became evil because when he became a good and sincere person he was never considered, ignored, even abandoned. Sorry if someday I'll be the same as the joker. Excuse me!" Niki said leaving with tears in her eyes.

His heartache touched Akbar's heart. So Akbar could feel the pain that Niki felt. But this is the best way, because there is no way Akbar will be selfish with his feelings. As Akbar knew, marrying with different beliefs was now forbidden by religion, unless one had to convert.

"I'm sorry Niki, but my heart chose Fatim, even though I don't love him yet, but I'm sure that we'll love each other in the future" Akbar murmured.

In the cold of the night, Akbar's heart was in turmoil, the fire burning inside him, whether what Niki said to turn into like the Joker was real or not. Akbar hopes everything will be fine, and they can live their lives as usual.

"Assallamualaikum Abang" A woman greeted Akbar in the middle of his sun that night.
