Halal Lover
Part 2

"There are things we need to let go of. There's something we need to let go of. There's something we need to do.

Because God gives us what we need, not what we want."

ALIF sits down and holds his laptop. Still the same as before, his days are always busy with thesis, again and again. The handsome young doctor candidate was too washed away with revisian.

"Diminum the coffee, Lif," said Ranti, Alif's mother while putting a glass of coffee on the table for her only child.

Alif stopped his typing activity, received the coffee happily.

"Thank you, Mother." Alif prayed and then sipped the still steaming hot coffee plan.

Ranti smiled and said, "So when do you want to get married, son?"

Uhukk'

"Astaghfirullahaladhim's chat. Slow down, son." Bunda Ranti kneaded slowly the back of Alif's neck.

"Sorry, Bun."

"No papa, this is your fault for giving questions that make you surprised."

"Yes, even though she was not like this twice," he continued, then chuckled.

"Mother is not wrong. Alif is not ready. Sorry, Bun." Alif smiled knot.

Mother Ranti laughed a little. "Why apologize, dear? Mother does not mean you. It's just that now your Father and Mother are starting to age. You should have a companion."

Alif is deep. He knows that you are not forcing. But from the sentence that Alif digested, it was like necessitating. Then what's the difference? Alif does not know, which is clear how to get married if the candidate just does not have.

Actually, Alif does have a handsome face. Very handsome in fact. This Indonesian-Russian blaster has thick eyebrows, a sharp nose like a paud child, thin lips that are red because Alif is one of the men who are very anti to smoking. The dense black hair, the sturdy jawline - the three-wheeled cement bushes - were overgrown with thin beards that made him even more masculine than those who shaved his beard.

No wonder so many students like him. But Alif refused firmly, because the average of them is aggressive. In fact, at that time there was a blatant invite himself to date. Alif does not like women who like to approach men first.

Alif did not intend to shave his thin beard because according to what he knows maintaining a beard is one of the sunnah of the Prophet Shallallah'alaihi Wasallam.

There is a shahih hadith from the Prophet Shallallahu'alaihi Wasallam, from the hadith of Ibn Umar radhiallahu'anhuma, in the Shahih Bukhari and Shahih Muslim, as well as other Sunan books, that the Prophet said:

قصوا الشوارب وأعفوا اللحى

"Short the mustache and lengthen the beard."

In another lafadz:

قصوا الشوارب ووفروا اللحى، خالفوا المشركين

"Short the mustache and lengthen the beard, distinguish yourself from the Mushrikin."

In the Shayh Muslim, from Abu Hurairah radhiallahu'anhu, from the Prophet Shallallahu'alaihi Wasallam said:

جزوا الشوارب وأرخوا اللحى، خالفوا المجوس

"Cut the mustache and leave the beard, distinguish yourself from the Magi."

In these hadiths there are strict orders to lengthen the beard, multiply it, let it (not shave it), and shorten the mustache. In order to distinguish themselves from the Mushrikin and the Magi.

Such is the intercession of the Prophet in the Hereafter, for believers who practice and hold tightly to His Sunnahs.

Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala:

Say: "Right unto Allah and obey the apostle; and if ye turn away then verily the duty of the apostle (Muhammad) is only that which is charged unto him, and your duty is only that which is charged unto you. And if you obey him, you will be guided. And none other than the duty of the apostle is to convey (the message of Allah) with light."

(QS. For Nur: 54).

Inshaa Allah.

"Jaudah, Mother up first, yes," said Ranti's mother then stepped her feet towards the room.

"Yes, Bun."

After his departure, Alif began to think. It does not hurt to marry young, rather than having to date like the term teenager today. After all, his age was no longer a teenager, despite only turning 22.

But, Alif will try to solidify his heart. Wasn't his parents' wish one of his happiness as well? Alif knew that. Maybe with this he can make both parents happy. By looking for a dream daughter-in-law who shalihah for the wife of the world and the hereafter.

His memory goes back to the events of the other day, where he helped a girl who fell unconscious in the rain.

Nazwa.

It seemed that Alif was beginning to admire him.

What if he asked God for her?

Astarghfirullahaladzim aposchland. May my admiration not exceed my love for my Lord, Alif said in his heart.

"DEK, Ummi call the doctor, huh? Your fever is not down" said Audy-ummi Nazwa.

Nazwa shook his head weakly. "No need, Ummi. It's gonna heal soon, too."

It had been a day ago from the incident when Nazwa collapsed and was helped by Oliv and a man who did not know his name until now his fever did not go down.

Sang ummi and Abi insist on taking her to the hospital, but Nazwa refuses. After all, this is just a fever and regular dizziness. Maybe because I think about it too much.

Nazwa did not want to complain because of his pain, once he had heard a hadith.

"Do not reproach the fever, for it takes away the sin of the son of Adam. Just like an iron heater can remove rust."

(CHR. Bukhari)

And the benefits of fever according to Islamic sharia, fever is a contributor to human sin. While according to the medical point of view, fever is the body's mechanism of defending the body from disease, but if it is too high the temperature can be dangerous.

Nazwa continued to try to be grateful because God still allowed himself to feel pain, maybe all this time he was too negligent to be grateful for his healthy pleasure.

"Don't underestimate the pain, Deck. Ummi was afraid of anything happening with Ummi's daughter" said Ummi Audy. Her tears started to drip.

Maybe because of umminya, Nazwa also became easy to cry. But the woman's name, her weak point is when she has shed her tears.

Nazwa feels guilty for his parents. It was a situation that made him feel a dilemma. His chest was very tight to keep the wounds created by the man who was not his mahram. He really wanted to tell all to Ummi Audy, but back again, he was afraid that he would make ummi disappointed.

Nazwa tried to get up and hug his mother. "Nnnn ...."

Not even his eyes drip. Indeed, Nazwa regretted ever wishing to the man who once promised to keep but in fact gave hurt. The man who once said that his smile was an opium. But in fact, his crying was a source of happiness for the man.

Astarghfirullahaladzim aposchland.

Astarghfirullahaladzim aposchland.

Astarghfirullahaladzim aposchland.

Many times his heart said Istighfar, hoping that Allah would forgive him.

Nazwa is really sorry. If time can be turned, he will try to refrain from doing things that are strictly forbidden by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.

Ummi Audy returned her daughter's embrace. "Dek, tell Ummi. What exactly happened to you?"

Nazwa shook his head slowly, very afraid to disappoint ummi.

Ummi Audy let go of her daughter's embrace. Covered a beautiful but pale face in front of him. "After Allah, Ummi is where you come back when you feel tired, dear. Don't be afraid, Ummi won't be angry. Tell Ummi, will you?"

Nazwa took a breath before he actually ventured to tell his umminya everything. Her relationship over the past three years has been secretly unbeknownst to her family. All Nazwa tell in detail until the incident in which Raka unilaterally severed their relationship.

The ummminya smiled, making Nazwa astonished. "Ummi's not angry?"

"No, honey, Ummi's not angry." Ummi Audy shook her head slowly making Nazwa feel even more guilty.

"Honey .. next time, do not hesitate to tell the same story Ummi," he said later.

Nazwa. "Sorry Nazwa, Ummi. Nazwa has made Abi and Ummi also become disappointed. Nazwa almost got you into hell because of Nazwa."

Ummi Audy hugged her daughter again. "Istighfar, dear. After this, you pray repentance. Ask Allah for forgiveness, and promise not to repeat it again."

"Yes, Ummi." Nazwa was still crying in his umminya arms.

Ummi Audy let her daughter cry. He certainly understands what his daughter is feeling now. Let after this he should see the strong Nazwa. He did not want after this Nazwa still crying over the man who had made him sick like this. He tried to give his daughter some space.

After feeling Nazwa a little calm, ummi Audy let go of their embrace.

"But Ummi was not angry. But, the same promise of Allah and Ummi that Nazwa will not repeat it again?"

Nazwa nodded steadily. "God willing, Ummi. Nazwa's sorry."

He smiled and poked Nazwa's nose. "Yaudah, Ummi wants to cook for dinner. You pray repentance first. Ba'da was continued with the ashar prayer."

Nazwa nodded again. "Yes, Ummi."

"Keep up to stand?" ask ummi Audy.

Nazwa raised his hands together in the style of Popaye's animation. "Strong dong! Abi Ahmad's son Ummi Audy is strong all, hehe."

Ummi Audy frowned both her eyebrows. "Insensible stress?"

Nazwa. "Oh, Ummi!"

Ummi Audy chuckled, she was glad at least her daughter's smile could come back again.

Seriate.
