GRIM REAPER'S GIRLFRIEND

GRIM REAPER'S GIRLFRIEND
THIRTY NINE

Jonathan and Seruni's friends are shocked by what they see, and it turns out that the one who entered Andrea's room is not another supernatural being but Jonathan.

"Jonathan is alive?" jonathan's friend asked himself, not believing in his artificial CCTV. Time and time again make sure there are no mistakes or anyone is trying to interfere.

"Simply protection does not work." Seruni frowned in surprise.

"Thank God Jonathan is alive." Jonathan's friend frowned as Jonathan held onto his stomach and stood among the pile of Andrea's collection dolls. What's he doing in front of the doll? Don't-don't

Jonathan took a penguin-shaped doll.

"Would he take a doll?" tanya Seruni did not understand.

"Artificial shield." Jonathan's friend stared at the astonished penguin doll in his hand.

Seruni turned to Jonathan. "Artificial shield?"

"When we're injured, we have to rest and it's when we're caught off guard that we make artificial protectors using lost human souls. That means Jonathan is seriously injured right now." Jonathan's friend removes his wand, the movie playing in Andrea's bedroom sky disappears.

Seruni frowned, seeing Jonathan's friend reach into his pants pocket and pulled out a cell phone.

"Whose phone are you calling?" tanya Seruni who saw Jonathan punch a picture of the phone at a number.

Jonathan's friend raised his index finger in front of his mouth. "Sshhh-"

"Hallo."

Jonathan's the speaker phone. "Yes."

"Have you found the keris?" ask Aya enthusiastically.

Jonathan's friend took a quick glance at Seruni and then returned to the mobile phone. "We're at Andrea's house now."

"Lho, your business isn't done yet?"

"No, no. We're deadlocked, our only lead to Andrea's room. And try what we found?"

"What?"

"Jonathan is alive."

"Oh-"

Jonathan's friend raised both eyebrows. "Cock you're not surprised?"

"I'm here!" this time Jonathan answered.

Seruni was surprised and opened her mouth wide to form an O while Jonathan's friend vented her joy without a sound.

"How come" Seruni did not believe what he heard.

"How can you be with Aya?" ask Jonathan's friend. "Don't the one in the cave be you? so it's true that you got hurt and made an artificial protector out of a penguin doll?"

"You peeked into the past, huh?" there was a pause as Jonathan asked.

"Seruni and I thought there was something in Andrea's room so we investigated, after all we had no clue at all about the keris." Answer Jonathan's friend.

"Who's Seruni?" jonathan asked Aya who could be heard by Jonathan and Seruni's friends.

"I am His Majesty Seroja's lady-in-waiting." Seruni brought her mouth closer to Jonathan's friend's cell phone.

"How are you doing now?" ask Jonathan's friend who's worried about his friend's condition.

"It's so much better, soon I and Aya will catch up with you two to get there - don't go anywhere." Answer Jonathan.

"We wait." Jonathan's friend disconnected the phone. "We'd better be with Jonathan looking for that keris, you'll tell Seroja."

Seruni nodded then wrote something in her right hand. He should report this immediately to his employer.

"If I insist not how?" ask Aya who is still stubborn, however she can not stand still to see her best friend's life in danger.

"Listen-"

"If Andrea was in my position, of course he would do the same. So is it with you, right? You'll do anything to help your best friend."

"It's not a trivial matter."

"Just because it's not a trivial matter I insist on coming along, I can't just keep hearing the news."

Jonathan stared intently at Aya, in his heart really hoping that if he stared intently icy cold, then Aya would change his mind. But it was not the look of fear that he saw but rather the look of bold eyes.

Jonathan sighed and thought for a moment then relented. "Well, if that's what you want but on one condition."

"What?"

"You must obey all my words. Run, run, hide, hide. It's all for your safety." Jonathan reminded Aya.

"Just me? What about Andrea?" ask Aya.

"Have you forgotten that right now I can only protect one person, my fiancee?" jonathan asked and confirmed this to Aya.

Aya thought for a moment, looking hesitant to decide something. "Promise yes. You'll protect Andrea, don't be like that. Just leave, understand the hell with your decision but still don't make my best friend sad again."

Jonathan sighed and nodded slowly.

"Deal." Aya raised her right hand to shake her hand while her left hand held tightly to Andrea's stuffed penguin, trying to cover her trembling hand in fear.

Jonathan welcomes Aya's handshake and moves them to Andrea's room and in an instant the two of them have already moved in Andrea's room.

Jonathan and Seruni's friends were waiting for them with curious faces. I can't wait for Jonathan's story.

Jonathan takes off Aya's hand and hugs her best friend. "How are you doing?"

Jonathan's friend returned his friend's embrace and patted his back. "I should have asked, for days we thought you were gone."

"I'm sorry, I thought I could solve this all by myself without involving you." Jonathan truly regrets having involved people who had nothing to do with the rituals he performed. A very selfish thing.

"It's okay, I'm glad to see you survived." Jonathan's friend took off his embrace. "If this happens again, I won't help you anymore."

"Sorry to cut your show, but we don't have time anymore." Seruni looked fed up at the behavior of the two life-revoking angels before her.

Jonathan narrowed his eyes. "And you're Seruni?"

Seruni rolled both her eyeballs. "Have you brought the keris in question?"

Jonathan nodded quickly. "The gris disappeared when I was conscious."

"And when did you realize? you left Andrea alone, didn't you?" Aya was very angry when Seroja told her about it, and she just remembered it now.

Jonathan stared one at a time at the people who demanded answers from him. "First, I'm guilty of leaving Andrea, it's because-"

"Because what?" sue Jonathan's friend.

Jonathan closed his eyes and looked straight at his friend. "I saw the shaman who took my soul."

Jonathan's friend frowned. "That was hundreds of years ago, there was no way that person could live, let alone that he was just an ordinary human being."

"I know, I know. Just tell me I'm crazy, but I actually saw that guy andand I chased him" Jonathan lowered his head.

"Then leave Andrea just like that." Aya shook her head in concern. He didn't believe Jonathan could do such a lowly thing.

Jonathan closed his eyes, recalling the moment he plunged into the abyss.
