Chapter 28 - The Heart That Beats.

After making a deal with Mr. Wan Xue, Yu Jie walked out of the room in satisfaction. Mr. Wan Xue even escorted Yu Jie out, the look on the 60-year-old's face was completely illegible.

Mr. Wan Xue ignored his two children who were still waiting outside the room, Yu Jie also only greeted at a glance because the time was already too late.

Sir Wan Xue approached the leader of his subordinates who had attacked Yu Jie, the age of the leader was not much different from Guan Lin. "Jiao Long, from today on you will be Miss Zhu's bodyguard, that's part of our deal. So, from today on, follow his orders. Understood!"

There was a look of shock in the eyes of the leader named Jiao Long, but because of his loyalty to the Master he nodded. "Okay, big sir."

Surprise came from Guan Lin, he was curious what agreement between his Father and Yu Jie to let go of Jiao Long who was like the right hand of the Father.

"Tonight I will take Miss Zhu," Guan Lin did not want to be denied, he walked out first. However, while in the car court his eyes narrowed at the damage to the back of Yu Jie's car which was quite severe.

"File my car, your car will be our side to fix Miss Zhu. Come on," Guan Lin was still with an arrogant attitude and casually stepped towards his own car. Opening the car door at the front, for Yu Jie to sit beside her as she drove.

Yu Jie's two eyebrows looked at each other, he disliked Guan Lin's arrogant attitude which was like imposing a will without asking for his opinion. However, cradling a deal with Mr. Wan Xue that required him to be nice he finally complied and sat in the front seat.

After the two got into the car, Guan Lin even fitted the seat belt on Yu Jie. Most of their bodies almost stuck together, Guan Lin's warm breath hitting Yu Jie's face made the inexperienced woman with the man instantly misbehave.

"Go away, Mr. Guan." Pulling out a pounding heart, Yu Jie spoke coldly. He was still traumatized by a man, the hatred and pain in his previous life on Ang Cheng was still slightly imprinted in his heart and needed time to heal perfectly.

"Sorry," Guan's heart did not say anymore, as if all the air was drawn from him. While sitting back in front of the steering wheel, he breathes in in regulating his heart rhythm.

An awkward atmosphere, finally without speaking again Guan Lin turned on the car immediately drove his drive away from the residence.

Behind the 3 cars followed, because from now on Master Wan Xue's subordinates will be Yu Jie's bodyguards.

Yu Jie glanced at Guan Lin, after getting to know him firsthand he had not expected any difference from what he had heard from others. Where is Guan Lin who is notoriously cold and cruel and dislikes women? Why was the Guan Lin he knew now so considerate and there was so little warmth from the man's attitude? Argan and by himself? Maybe so. But if the rumors say Guan Lin is cruel, it doesn't seem to be.

"Wait for me to open the door" Guan Lin said and left with the car engine running. He turned towards the side of the car where Yu Jie was sitting, then opened the door. "Please."

"Thank you." Yu Jie took out his entire body from within.

"Yu Jie," called out to Father from the front door.

Yu Jie stepped closer to Mr. Huang, but his footsteps stopped he looked back. "Mr Guan, let me introduce you to my Papa."

Guan Lin advanced closer then followed Yu Jie's footsteps walking to the front of the large door where Master Huang was standing with both hands linked behind the body by staring intently at Guan Lin.

"Father, he's Mr. Guan Lin the son of Mr. Wan Xue. The eastern guild that passed our cure, I told Papa."

"Good night, Mr. Zhu."

"Good night, and it's already very night.You should go in Yu Jie and you Mr. Kang can go." Mr. Huang disliked Guan Lin, because of Guan Lin's background in the union. If Yu Jie wanted to be in a relationship with men after her divorce from Ang Cheng, she preferred Hao Yu as her son-in-law's candidate.

"Okay, I'm sorry." Guan Lin felt Master Huang's dislike, immediately retreating to walk to his car.

"Wait!" Yu Jie ran after Guan Lin.

Guan Lin turned around, there was a hope Yu Jie would say something that made her dream good while falling asleep later, but she was disappointed that Yu Jie seemed to only intend to give her something.

"This is my car key. If my car is finished, let me know. Ask your dad for my number, be careful on the road and thank you." After saying his Yu Jie immediately turned around quickly following the father into the house without waiting for Guan Lin to leave from there.

"Woman is cold, she just walked in without waiting for me to get out of here." With an annoyed face Guan Lin got into the car, stuffed Yu Jie's car keys into his coat bag and then carried the car away from Zhu's residence in an involuntary manner.
