Chapter 14 - The Decision is Round.

Seeing Ang Cheng being slapped by Grandpa Lim, the corner of Yu Jie's mouth lifted. He saw Ang Cheng looking at him in annoyance, it seemed like the man saw his faint smile.

"Mama, this is my engagement ring and wedding gift from the Lim family. I've been wearing an engagement ring since I was 12, now after 12 years I'm wearing it I'm handing it back to the Lim family. I beg you not to force me to continue the marriage with Brother Ang Cheng. No matter how I feel sorry for Li Mei, she is my beloved sister." Said Yu Jie did not want to dismantle the character and nature of Li Mei, let it open on its own.

"Yu Jie. You know Mama doesn't have a daughter, you've considered Mama's daughter since you were born. You have the heart for Mama, you separated from Ang Cheng and then want to cut ties with us? Huh yeah?" Mrs Lim couldn't hold back her tears.

"Mama..." Yu Jie hugged Madam Lim. "I will remain your daughter, I will serve you and the Lim family. You all have loved me since I was a child, I love you too. But, the way I'm filial as your daughter is not by being Ang Cheng's sister's wife. I'll be filial in other ways, but not as Ang Cheng's sister's partner."

"It seems your decision has been unanimous" said Mrs Lim still sobbing.

"Mom, I will always love you." Yu Jie gently rubbed her mother-in-law's back.

Grandpa Lim finally did not say anything, with his stick he came out of there leaving the decision on the son-in-law and grand daughter-in-law.

Ang Cheng still stood tightening his hands, he looked at Yu Jie. "Let's go home, we'll talk again at home."

Yu Jie released his embrace on Madam Lim's body, then looked at Ang Cheng. "Going home? Does Li Mei still live in your house?" yu Jie asked intentionally.

"Yu Jie, don't talk anymore. Let's go," Ang Cheng turned his body away first from the room towards the car.

Yu Jie was done with her mission to ask for permission to divorce, now she had to face Ang Cheng.

"Mama, tell Grandpa I'm leaving. Later I will return to visit the Lim family," Yu Jie stood up followed by Madam Lim, they hugged once more. It was heavy for Mrs Lim to release the daughter-in-law who was already considered her own daughter.

In the car Ang Cheng and Yu Jie held back the words that wanted to be thrown. Ang Cheng's veins stood out, holding back the anger he wanted to release. The car finally reached the residence, Ang Cheng first got out of the car and was greeted by Li Mei's happy face from inside the house.

"Sister Ang Cheng, you're home. You brought me the Fu Yung Hai I ordered? Your son wants-"

Li Mei's cheerful words came to a halt, her face instantly looking dislike as she saw Yu Jie get out of the car but she immediately disguised her dislike and smiled.

"Sister Yu Jie finally came home," Li Mei walked towards Yu Jie who was still standing beside the car.

While Ang Cheng had wanted to strangle Li Mei with his mouth unable to stand still, he did not expect the woman he had loved so badly and was always demanding. Even Li Mei was jealous, when she got out of the hospital, Li Mei kept talking if she was no longer in love with the woman because she kept worrying about Yu Jie. Li Mei kept sulking throughout the journey, making her sick. Now at will Li Mei screamed - shamelessly saying about the child.
