Chapter 16 - Your Brain is Too Small.

Yu Jie finished plucking one by one the needles from Ang Cheng's body, the man standing weakly walked up slowly sitting on his work chair, he called the Doctor through his phone call. He was panting still feeling the pain from the needle prick, his eyes staring inexplicably at Yu Jie who looked so resentful of him.

"May I ask?" ang Cheng asked, he could not live in curiosity after separating from Yu Jie.

"Hm," Yu Jie simply nodded, he tidied up the needles in a small box. If examined more closely, there may be hundreds of small or more neatly arranged needles in the box.

"Why do you hate me so much? I never hurt you physically, I just betrayed you. But from the look in your eyes, it looks like you really want to kill me. Is there something I did to you and I forgot about it?"

Yu Jie's hands were still tidying the needles - the needles stopped, then he closed the box and looked at Ang Cheng still with a look of hatred.

"Even if I answer you, you won't understand what I'm saying. Because your brain is too small to see the world well, someone like you who is trivial and always blinds the heart will never understand. One thing is for sure, my hatred for you will never end. I respect the Lim family, but not you. If one day you die at my hands, just remember that in one of my lives you also killed me even though not with your own hands. Now take care of the divorce papers, call your lawyer immediately. Ang Cheng's brain digested every word that was spoken from Yu Jie's mouth, but it was true that the woman who was about to change status to an ex-wife was if she did not understand what Yu Jie said.

"Yu Jie, I'm really sorry I wasted you. From the time we got engaged until we got married, I admit I never thought about you let alone your attention. I'm asking for ma-"

Yu Jie's hand was raised, so Ang Cheng apologized to her. "I don't want to hear your apology, because it doesn't deserve to come out of your mouth. You're someone who doesn't deserve my forgiveness, so don't ever ask me for forgiveness until you're dead."

"Li May, come in. Don't eavesdrop anymore" Yu Jie said as he opened the door from the inside.

Yu Jie saw Li Mei stunned from being caught off guard. Without waiting for Li Mei's hypocrisy while speaking, Yu Jie went wide into his room to clean up the things he had brought in one suitcase and it didn't take him long to leave Ang Cheng's residence for his father's house to meet Ming Na Her stepmother.

At work, Ang Cheng was talking to a lawyer by phone while waiting for the doctor to come to examine the body affected by the needles.

Li Mei had since been sitting waiting for Ang Cheng to finish talking over the phone, not even the man looked at her in the slightest as if he was an unwanted invisible human in the room.

"Yes, so. My wife didn't ask for anything, she didn't want any money. But I still want to pursue her in our divorce proceedings, maybe I can reach her heart before the divorce is legal. So, write down on our divorce terms half my fortune to Yu Jie. Understood?" ang Cheng's lips smiled, he wouldn't be perched even though his life almost floated in Yu Jie's hands, he admitted wrong at the beginning but did not rule out the possibility if he changed for the better Yu Jie will turn back to him.

Li Mei's anger ignited upon hearing Ang Cheng and his lawyer's conversation on the phone line. He picked up a knife in the fruit container, "I'd better die! I'm gonna die with a kid on this! You're outrageous brother!" his hysterics began to press the knife into the hand.
