What the hell just happened?
I opened my eyes, finding myself in the middle of a valley with a large building in front.
The building was made of a large white stone carved into a giant altar with two silent white rings floating on it. On the left and right, there were high mountains, mountains that somehow felt so desolate, silent in the absence of life.
Suddenly I realized that my body had just been pierced with a sword.
I immediately touched the chest where the sword should be, but found nothing. Even when I saw it in my shirt, there was no scar that made me wonder.
Am I in heaven? Then, why so deserted?
There shouldn't be many people, considering that everyone who has rested should be here.
Could heaven be different for everyone?
Out of curiosity, I also stepped closer to the building that the longer I realized, that it turned out that the building was really very large, as high as the mountains that almost ate all parts of the valley.
There are no windows or air vents in this building, smooth without any damage, looks magnificent like just finished being built.
Couldn't there be a living creature capable of making something like this?
With this size, it will take years and not necessarily be able to form neatly without any defects as I see it now.
This building before my eyes, seemed to emit a mystical aura, an aura that ordinary living things could not have, but something that was beyond common sense.
For some reason, I continued to have the intention to pay a tribute that I did not know who to give myself.
A few minutes later, when I looked up at the sky, I realized that the clouds were not moving at all, but were still like a painting.
I've been feeling weird from the start and trying to figure out what might have caused it.
But I couldn't find anything so I took a moment, watching the clouds hidden behind the mountain peaks, waiting for them to come out on their own.
But nothing, nothing happened, still in place.
Could the time in this world stop turning?
If yes, why?
Funny thing is, even though these strange things happened, I didn't feel at all alert. Rather, it felt calm, as if I were where I should be, a place that had long been lost, a place that I might call home.
However, if something that everything freezes in a place like this is home, what am I?
An ordinary human would not be able to stay in a place like this for long without losing his mind.
Too quiet, too empty, empty has no purpose.
Whereas humans and even all living things must have a purpose in their lives as fuel to keep moving forward. Living things without a purpose are like inanimate objects waiting to be thrown away.
That's right, there's no way this is my home.
I am always looking for the purpose of life, trying to achieve dreams and ordinary life like other humans can not live here.
This is not a house, but a prison, a prison deliberately created to lock up something that cannot be locked up with just common sense.
Something that is beyond the understanding of living beings.
"That's right"
I gasped in shock, looking back trying to find the origin of the foreign voice but found no one. Left and right, up and down, I found no one, only myself, alone.
"Stop joking around and show yourself. I really have no intention of serving you right now" Tukasku clenched his hands, preparing to hold on should something come crashing down.
From the side, a voice that was difficult to explain and from the origin of the sound, formed a man from a collection of transparent blue cubes.
He has exactly the same form as me, like a clone, so perfect without any difference.
The figure stepped forward, tilting its head with a confused face looking at my position that was ready to attack "What do you want to do? Attacking themselves? You know you're gonna get hurt, right?"
"I won't believe it, especially not with a creature made of a transparent cube" I replied, taking two steps apart, not wanting to be near him, not with the suspicious face.
"You do realize you just insulted yourself, don't you?"
"Can you hear me?" I asked with widened eyes.
He sighed, shook his head in disappointment then looked back at me with the gazes of the parents who had just seen their son's test scores "I was confused how could we be the same two people.
But, you know, I can't blame you for being sealed for so long until you've had amnesia and created another persona in your own head.
Just call me Z, I don't want to make your peanut brain confused because of the same name" he ordered, turning to look at the large building in front that looked so high.
"I didn't think it would be time for us to talk like this. I don't know how long I've been waiting. Second to second, minute to minute, hour to hour, day after day until it finally becomes year after year.
Maybe I should say 'welcome home', but it feels bad considering this is the prison that has locked us up.
At least you can feel the outside world, while I can only be here, waiting until you come back" he explained slowly.
"If you're a part of me, shouldn't you be able to feel what I feel? It's exactly what you said. I hit you and we both felt the pain" I replied, it's still hard to believe.
I can't just trust someone, especially if you've just been transferred to another world.
Who knows if the creature in front of me actually wants my body to say things like this to make me confused
"I can still hear you you know"
Shit, I completely forgot about that.
He sighed once again "As much as you believe it or not, the point is that I have answered your curiosity. And yes, I can also feel what you feel.
However, since you were not aware of this seal before, I only felt the faintness that you felt.
Relax, I am happy to feel it. Rather than feeling nothing in a world that is a small piece of a big world.
You really have to control your heart, you always let it control you. Not a bad thing, but you could risk both of our lives"
"OK okay, all right. Let's just say I trusted you, there must be a reason why I suddenly returned to find the world or this seal right? And you haven't told me why you're waiting for me" I said, it's hard to digest what's going on.
"Oh, that's easy. I'm waiting for you because it's time for us to bzzzt"
"What?"
"I told you, it's time for us to bzzzt"
I shook my head slowly and he immediately understood, as if we were really the same person, one mind and one soul.
He let out a disappointed sigh, looking up, towards the silent sky "It seems, whatever sealed us, has put everything in place so that we can't go back on the mission, a plan that completely failed because it turns out you were called to Alterra-alterra as well
The world you moved to, that's Alterra" he said quickly when he saw my blank stare "I still don't understand why we're the same people"
And of course, he again let out a heavy sigh as if he had just seen the greatest failure in life.
