Guilt

Erik stood in front of the IGD room with a feeling of worry. He cursed himself for leaving Della alone in the car when he wanted to see the accident.

Dusk had greeted, the sun had also returned to its quarrel to leave only darkness. There was no more light covered in cloudiness like this afternoon.  It was only pitch-black from all directions, the cold was extremely piercing in the palm of the hand. A sign that above the sky there are still remnants of water bombs that have not exploded.

Erik grabs his phone from his pants pocket to contact Zevin. So anxious for Della, he forgot to tell the house about her whereabouts.

"Where are you ? Why not go home yet ? The weather is not good right now." Zevin asked on the phone. There was a worried tone in his speech.

"I'm in the hospital, brother. Della passed out after seeing the accident in front of the supermarket." Erik is fast. So that Zevin doesn't ask any more questions .

"Wait there, I'll call Yudha's doctor and a specialist to deal with Della. Don't worry !" Zevin decided to call. He thinks this has something to do with trauma to the brain or brain injury to Della causing her to lose her memory.

Erik breathed a rough breath. I want to call Della's family soon. But he was reluctant because it was dark and the weather was not good. He also has to make sure that Della is okay.

Della's phone inside the bag shook, Erik immediately picked it up. The name of Dias is there.

"Dice." Answer Erik.

"Erik, I'm sorry I didn't know that Della was with you. I just want to say that tomorrow there's a client who wants to see the results of his latest design." Obviously Dias about his purpose of calling. He felt guilty for calling Della while with Erik.

Erik breathed heavily. "Dias, Della is now in the hospital. Currently still in the IGD room, he collapsed after seeing the accident on the road earlier. Now we're at ZK hospital" he explained with all his guilt.

Across the street Dias froze with a feeling of unworthiness. Her body trembled as Erik said that Della was in the hospital. "I'll be there." Dias decided to call. A feeling of fear enveloped his heart. Even though Della is no one for him, but it cannot be denied if she is worried if something bad happens to the woman she loves.

Erik sat back down and leaned back in the waiting chair with a gaze that could not be separated from the door of the IGD room. From far away Yudha stepped quickly and directly barged in. He's got an explanation from Zevin on the phone.

It's been an hour since the doctor came out of the IGD room to give Erik information. When Della's phone was heard again, Erik grabbed the phone from Della's bag.

"Morror." Answer Erik slowly.

"Sorry. I didn't know you were with Della. I just wanted to ask if he's ready tomorrow to meet a client who wants to see the results of his plans." Maura bit her own lips held back her nervousness. For a long time he never spoke by phone to Erik.

Erik paused for a moment to discuss Dias with Maura. Then he said "Della's in the hospital being treated"

"Della's sick ?!" Screeched Maura. He was surprised because his best friend seemed okay this afternoon. Even Della was worried about her coming home in the rain.

"Yes. He fainted straight away I took him to ZK hospital" Erik said again as he stomped his forehead.

"Sorry, for tonight I haven't been able to go there, mama there are no friends at home. I'll be there tomorrow morning." Maura said with a heavy heart. Though he really wanted to see Della at this time, but Maura also could not leave Sila's mother at home alone at night.

"It's okay. I hung up the phone first yes, the doctor's out." Erik disconnects the phone and stands up to Yudha and her other doctors.

"We'll move it, yeah, in a minute. Zev's coming. An hour ago we observed first and Della has to stay tonight." Yudha patted Erik on the shoulder.

Erik's feelings of guilt, if not his boredom maybe Della's not lying limp on top of the gurney right now. From far away Zevin came and half ran. Behind him was Erik's backpack and in his right hand was a rice bushel. Not far from him Nazia followed by carrying some items in a paper bag.

They follow Della's gurney driven by a male nurse as well as several doctors who follow her. There Erik looks very messed up with his guilt. A few minutes later Dias also came in a hasty step he could see Della's gurney being pushed towards the elevator.

Della was put in the VVIP room at Zevin's request on the phone. The nurse arranged the position of her bed and the infusion pole. Shortly Dias also entered with the same facial features as Erik.

The doctors involved in treating Della talk to Zevin explaining Della's condition. From the look on Yudha's face there is nothing to worry about. Erik could breathe.

Right now Erik was extremely scared, his palm was extremely cold. She was afraid of what answer she would give to Della's family, if something bad happened to her.

After listening to the doctor's explanation and talking some things, the doctors came out of Della's room. Zevin drove them to the doorstep. Then he approached his wife who was sitting on the sofa with Erik and Dias.

"Good night, Mr. Zev." Saya Dias's. He extended his hand to greet Zevin.

"Good night Dias, please sit down again. Don't worry too much you've listened to some of the doctors' explanations." Zevin takes a middle position between his wife and Erik.

"Yes, Brother. I was so scared." Erik rubbed his face rough.

"Go take a shower, I asked Kiki to prepare your change of clothes earlier. After that eat." Nazia opened the food.

Erik with a giant step towards the bathroom. His fear lessened after listening to the doctor's explanation when Della woke up later he would apologize for his boredom.

A few minutes later Erik came out of the bathroom with a fresh face. This man dries his hair with a towel. Then sit on the sofa taking the food Nazia had prepared. " Dias let's eat." He looked at Dias.

"Thank you, you just eat. Before I got here I ate." Resist Dias smooth. Not wanting to disturb Erik from eating, Dias stepped into Della's bed

She was sad because tonight she didn't hear Della's soft voice. He's also sad that he didn't see Della in the office tomorrow.

Zevin had just finished calling Della's foster mother and explained about their daughter's condition in detail. Although surprised but they breathed a sigh of relief because there was nothing to be afraid of.

"Erik, we're home okay, right? Zayyan we drove to papa's house. We're staying there tonight." Zevin sat down next to his wife.

"It's okay, Brother. But when will Della wake up ?" Ask Erik. Because it had been a few hours from fainting earlier Della still had not opened her eyes even though she was aware of her stings at this time.

"If you feel hungry, Della will wake up. Don't worry ! If he doesn't wake up tonight maybe tomorrow morning, we'll go home if something happens just call. Dias we go home first." Pamit Zevin to Erik and Dias.
