First Kiss

Slowly Dara's eyes opened, she found her body wrapped in a blanket on the bed. He immediately sat up straight, as he remembered last night he slept on the sofa. Dara looked beside him, Rei was not around. Then his gaze turned on the sofa he had occupied last night, seeing Rei sleeping there.

'Gosh, did that guy move me here?'

Dara got off the bed and approached Rei. Rei's face looked innocent while falling asleep like this. People say, if you want to see the good looks or natural beauty of a person look at him while he is asleep. Slowly Dara's smile rose, the man did not look fierce if sleep even tends to be funny, like the face of a child.

For five minutes Dara's gaze could not be separated from Rei's face. He felt strange, why did he not get tired of seeing his face? Why did he feel happy when he was stared at like he was last night? Why did he feel comfortable sleeping in the same room as Rei? Is he no longer sane?

Dara was aghast and went straight from beside Rei, because suddenly the man changed his sleeping position, he looked uncomfortable sleeping on the narrow sofa. He almost fell off the couch, but he woke up.

Rei saw Dara sitting on the lip of the bed.

"Oh, are you awake?"

"You're the one who moved me here?" ask Dara.

"Yes. Sorry, I'm afraid you're falling. You can't fall because I don't want my son in your belly, '" Rei said as he chanted his eyes. Dara was stunned to hear Rei's words, it turns out that she did not forget that Dara was pregnant, and what made Dara shocked was that Rei was worried about this child.

Like there was a whirring wind blowing in Dara's heart, it felt very warm and comfortable. It's weird, why is Dara so happy with all this? Why couldn't he escape Rei's gaze? Was he captivated by that man? Is he in love with Rei?

Dara shook her head while closing her eyes. Remember Dara, Rei already has a girlfriend! Dara immediately went to the bathroom. Rei was astonished to see his wife's strange behavior.

"Hey, your body is too light for a pregnant person" Rei exclaimed.

When Rei and Dara came out of the room, they found Amira was busy in the kitchen preparing breakfast for them. Fortunately it was Saturday, so Dara was off work, not in a hurry as usual.

"Good morning dear ...," said Amira.

"Ma, why did you bother cooking for us?" dara's asking is not good.

"It's okay, Mama's happy to do it. Once upon a time, Mama wanted to make food for Mama's daughter-in-law. Hope you like it, Rei." Rei gnawing. His heart seemed to be surging out. Rei had a great pleasure, as long as he lived in this apartment, other than his mother no longer cooked for him, but now he did not expect his own mother-in-law to cook for him. Rei was flattered. Rei looked at his wife who was so frightened that his hands trembled. Rei also clasped Dara's trembling hand, trying to ease a little of her fear. Dara looked at Rei with a wailing look for help. Rei tried to smile at Dara.

"How many months? Was it before marriage that you were pregnant?"

After all, Dara has been caught red-handed and can not dodge anymore.

"Pardon us, Ma," said Rei.

"Rei, did your mother know before marriage that Dara was pregnant?" amira asked in a weak voice.

"Then who knows?"

"Sir Alan and Brother Andi" replied Dara.

Amira buried her face on the table. Rei and Dara froze in her chair, they felt very guilty towards the old man. Especially on Papa Dara and Rei's mother who does not know.

Rei saw the stove still burning, he quickly ran away and turned off the stove. Amira was surprised, she forgot her cooking. After turning off the stove Rei returned to his seat nervously.

"Well, whatever happens, what matters is that you're married now. Actually, Mama was suspicious of you because she decided to get married very suddenly. Mama's grateful you're responsible for what you did." Rei and Dara heaved a sigh of relief hearing her mother say that.

Actually, what makes Amira sad is, he who is very caring for Dara's association from small but even cheeses. He failed to take care of Dara.

"Please keep this a secret until the end, lest your mother know Rei. And your father should not know Dara. Mama's afraid they'll have a hard time accepting it even if you're married. Enough Mama, Alan and Andi know."

"Well, Ma," replied Rei and Dara compactly.

After Amira came home feeling sad and shocked, Rei and Dara sat quietly in the sitting room with a troubled mind. They didn't expect her mother to know for herself. He orders to keep this a secret until the end from Rei's mother and Dara's father.

What makes Dara sad is, his mother does not advise to maintain health or maintain the womb properly. Maybe he was too shocked. If this pregnancy is known to his mother when he was not married, maybe at that time he will have a heart attack.

"You don't have any events going anywhere today?" Suddenly Rei asked.

"No" answered Dara briefly.

"Prepare, we go to the gynecologist now," Rei said as he stood up and went to his room. This time Dara nodded with Rei's sudden and uncompromising plan.

By noon, they arrived at a fairly famous obstetrician clinic in Jakarta. Previously Rei told Nino to find the best obstetrician in Jakarta, and finally here they are now, sitting tensely in the gynecologist's room after waiting in line for a little longer. The doctor told Dara to lie down on the patient's bed to perform an ultrasound accompanied by Rei.

Dara's flat stomach is covered with cold gel to facilitate the USG process. Sonographer's been taped to Dara's stomach. The doctor told Rei and Dara to look at the monitor, seen there was a fetus that had been residing in Dara's womb. It's about 1 inch. The doctor said, Dara pregnancy has entered the ninth week, in this period the fetus has begun to develop rapidly forming internal organs, especially in the brain and various other important structures of the body. Rei wanted to ask about the sound of a horse running from inside his wife's stomach.

"Sorry doc, what's that sound?" asked Rei curiously as well as feeling astonished.

"That's the sound of a baby's heartbeat, amazing isn't it? In your wife's stomach is another life. There are two hearts inside your wife's body" the doctor said.

Rei suddenly fell silent, this was truly amazing and difficult for words to describe. Rei looked back at the monitor, he looked on in disbelief there his son was sleeping comfortably in his mother's womb. Slowly Rei's eyes glazed over, then looked at Dara's face, various emotions churning as he looked at the girl.

Actually Rei really wanted to hug Dara, but he was reluctant. Then feelings of affection began to grow in Rei's heart. He wants to give the best for Dara and the child in her womb, and he wants to treat Dara well from now on.

Dara felt strange when stared at by Rei like that. The man looked very happy to see his son, slowly Dara smiled at Rei.

After coming from the clinic and dropping off Dara to the apartment, Rei's schedule today is a rehearsal in the studio for his concert in Malaysia, but from half an hour ago there was nothing Rei did, he just sat quietly with a full mind. He thought about last night with Dara. The moment of the one-second kiss, when they were both nervous afterwards, as she carried Dara from sofa to bed, and as she stared at Dara's face in her carriage, touching her face, her lips, her hair, her hair, all that makes there is a feeling of love that rises from his chest and he can not stand it.

Rei removed Nadine's photo from her purse and threw it in the trash.
