Genius Child: Possessive Father

Genius Child: Possessive Father
Gio and Edo

The night is getting late. Neither Alula nor Gara, no one spoke. The two continued to watch Darrel fall asleep.

"It's three o'clock in the morning, you take a little nap." Gara broke the silence.

"Master is sleeping. Sir will work tomorrow. I'll sleep when I'm sleepy." Reply Alula.

"I'm not working tomorrow. And I, too, will sleep when I'm sleepy." Reply, repeating Alula's sentence.

Both are silent again. Before long, Alula's eyes felt heavy. The sleepiness attacked him. Slowly he began to fall asleep while sitting with his head resting on the side of the gurney.

Alula woke up when the sun was up. He moved his eyes around the room. He didn't find Gara and Darrel.

What did I miss? Where're they?

His face that began to panic, immediately disappeared to see Darrel who was in the carrying of Gara, coming out of the toilet. He breathed a sigh of relief.

"Why?" Ask Gara, lay Darrel down.

The boy's face was still pale and limp.

"No. I think I've missed something."

"Nothing's happened." Gara.

Alula turned to look at Darrel. He kissed her forehead. "Good morning mother."

Darrel smiled a little. No words came out of his little mouth. He was still too lazy to talk.

The door was knocked, making the two look. A doctor and a nurse came in.

"For the master, miss."

"For the doctor, sister." Reply Alula.

"For the handsome sister. Hows it? What are you feeling?" Ask the doctor, start checking on Darrel.

There's no answer. He really doesn't want to talk.

"How's doc?"

"His fever is starting to decline. But not yet in recovery. The patient enters a critical phase. Where the body temperature will decrease. Decreasing body temperature is very dangerous. There is a possibility of bleeding and leakage of blood plasma."

"Keep, what should we do, doc?"

"It is recommended that patients take a total rest and consume lots of water. We will also continue to monitor patients. The patient will also be transferred to the ward."

Alula took her breath. There was fear that covered his heart. What if what the doctor said happened to Darrel.

Gara could feel what Alula was worried about right now. His hand moved with Alula's hand.

"Don't think anything. Darrel's gonna heal." Gara said, pulling Alula in his arms.

The doctor and nurse who saw him smiled awkwardly. Is this Really Gara. A person who is notoriously cold and cruel, why now he is being gentle.

The doctor and nurse stopped their smiles. The two gulped as Gara glared sharply at them.

"Then, excuse me, lady." Pamit the doctor.

Both of them rushed away from the IGD.

"OK, is that the woman, Mr. Gara? And that kid is Mr Gara's son? The faces of Mr. Gara, the patient and the child last night were very similar." asked the nurse.

"Maybe. Never mind, don't talk about master anymore. Do you want to lose your job?"

"No doc."

Darrel was moved to the VVIP ward. The facilities are so complete. The room is also very large. Comfortable for anyone who enters the room.

"Let's drink some water first." Alula offers a glass of water to Darrel. The boy took a few gulps, then lay back down.

"Sleep again well, you have to rest a lot." Darrel nodded, then closed his eyes.

Alula looked at Gara. The man was leaning on the back of the sofa. He hasn't slept all night.

"Sleep sir. I'll take care of Darrel."

"Yes, wake me up if you need anything." Gara said, starting to close his eyes.

"Emm sir."

"Yes?"

"I haven't seen Darren since."

"Darren went to school with Kenan. Kenan will wait for him to come home." The answer closed his eyes again.

Alula pulls up the chair next to Darrel. His feelings are not calm. The worry is still in the heart.

While watching Darrel, the door of the room was knocked. Alula hurried to open it.

"Gio?"

"For Alula." Greet that man.

Alula slightly shifted and let Gio in. Then he closed the door again.

Gio's eyes stared in admiration at the room.

"You're paying for a VVIP ward?"

"Not me, but Mr. Gara." Alula replied, making Gio follow the direction of her eyes.

"Why is he here?"

"He helped me bring Darrel here." Answer Alula.

Gara, who had not fully fallen asleep, could hear the conversation of Alula and Gio. He began to open his eyes.

"You can call me."

"I'm freaking out too much,"

"Even if he calls you, I'll drive him." The heavy voice attracted Gio and Alula to turn her head.

"Huh. Then you're there. What are you doing there? Peeping on a woman?" Gio asked, smiling dismissively.

"You..."

"Excuse me. Am I interrupting?" Said someone from the doorway, making the three turn their head.

Gara grunting. Apparently, it was his brash friend.

"For bosses. Morning Alula. And, morning Gio." Sapa Edo, as he walked closer.

"For Edo." Reply Alula.

"For Mr. Edo." Reply Gio.

"You know him?" Ask Gara with her sharp eyes.

"Hehehe... You're this, always serious."

Stop using that look. Do you think I'm not scared? You don't just look. My feet are a little shaky. Inner Edo.

"I'm not messing with Edo."

"Yes, yeah. I-i know him. He's one of the bartenders at club xx. Do you remember?"

"Yes, I remember that club. But not with this guy. I don't know him."

"Do you think I want to know you?" Reply Gio, annoyed.

"Wait, what did you say? Do you remember that club? So, your memory's back?" Because just shut up. Lazy to respond to his best friend.

"Haha... Congratulations bro." Edo said, patting Gara on the shoulder.

"So, you lost ingtan? Haha... I don't think you've lost your memory, but you're senile." Timpal Gio pissed off Gara.

"How dare you..."

"If you still want to talk or fight, please come out!" Cut Alula, can not stand the behavior of the three adult men.

"Yes, you two get out!" Tymphal Gara's.

"You can also get out, sir." Alula said, making Gio and Edo hold back laughter looking at Gara's expression.

"Why me too?" His protest.

"You talk well outside. If there is no more commotion, you can enter. Darrel needs a complete break for his healing. Don't hold it back with your little quarrel." Alula said, making Edo even more unable to bear to not laugh.

Edo walked out first. Followed by Gio and then Gara. Edo laughed when he got outside. No matter the bodyguards and people passing by.

It turns out they are Gara's people. Inner Gio.

"Haha... You were kicked out of Alula. This is the first time someone's kicked you out." Edo still did not stop laughing.

"Silence you're Edo!" Jerky Gara.

"He deserves to be kicked out. There's no interest in him inside." Gio Sahut.

As he approached Gio, Edo stopped his laughter. "What did you say? Doesn't matter?"

"Yes. Why?"

Gara grinned. "Huh. You're the one who doesn't matter to be inside."

"What right do you have to say that?"

"I have a right. I'm Darren and Darrel's biological father. I have rights over them." Said Gara, who instantly knocked down Gio's defense.

The man was in his place. Same with Edo. He saw that belief in Gara's eyes. Meanwhile, Gara, he stayed away from the two people.

He was very sure of his words. Has he proven it. Inner Edo.

He's his biological father? He was the man of the night, not Mr. Edo. Inner Gio.

Edo caught a strange expression from Gio's face. The man looks hurt.

"What's wrong with you?" Edo patted Gio's shoulder.

"No. I just didn't expect." Answer Gio. He reentered Darrel's nursery.

Does Gio have feelings for Alula?

Alula turned her head to hear Gio's call. "what's wrong?" Ask.

"I'm going home."

"Why rush? You haven't sat down yet."

"no need. There's a problem in the cafe. I have to finish it immediately."

"alright. Careful." Alula. Gio smiled at him. But Alula knows. That smile is fake. There must be something going on.

What happened to Gio? Alula murmured in the heart.
