A Vow

"Why the rush, Lex!" ayu protests after entering Alex's car.

Alex was silent, he kept looking at the steering wheel blankly. Ayu who was confused because the man kept silent even though he had called his name so many times, decided to slowly hit the man's arm.

"What's wrong?" alex asked in full surprise.

"Will not pick up? Daydreaming continues," said Ayu.

"Sorry!" Alex replies briefly then switches on the steering wheel to do the car.

They were silent all the way -- immersed in each other's thoughts. Alex does not expect to meet Tamara at Ayu's house. He still remembered the face of the woman who had always been his dream, the faint smile and congratulations. A word of congratulations that Alex does not want to hear, because until now he still hopes Tamara who became his companion.

"Alex!" ayu's loud shout made Alex come back from his daydream.

A boy carrying a backpack and in his hands were some tissues that he seemed to be selling standing not far ahead. Alex immediately hit the brakes. Ayu and Alex's bodies were slightly shaken despite wearing seatbelt. While the child fell down because of shock with the squealing of Alex's car.

"You're crazy, yeah! I don't want to die a fool" Ayu choked.

Alex stared at the red streetlight.

"I'm sorry, I didn't see that" Alex replied in shock.

"Not seen? Bus people ...." Ayu's talk was cut off due to a hard blow on the windshield of the car beside her. Instantly Ayu surged in shock. He turned around and looked at the biker who looked angry and shouted.

" Woi, you can drive, Lu!" yell that guy. While the person who was piggybacked by him came down and helped the fallen child earlier.

Without opening the windshield Ayu lowered her head and apologized. He turned to Alex, who was ready to open the car door.

Ayu held Alex's arm. "Don't come down!"

"It's okay."

"What if you get beaten up?" said Ayu worried.

"No, the boy didn't get hit," Alex said and continued, "that's my responsibility, right?"

Ayu took off her grip on Alex's arm. He sat down and just looked at Alex who seemed to be chatting with some people in front of the car, he also seemed to take out some money from his wallet.

"Basic!" cela Ayu's.

The sound of the horn from the car in the back began to earthy because the street light was already green. Anan the man was limping towards the sidewalk, the biker had returned to his motorcycle, as well as Alex who had entered the car.

"It!" Alex thrusts three packs of tissue at Ayu.

The sound of music and cheers accompanied the steps of Ayu and Alex who stepped on the carpet while holding hands. Silver gray dress with brocade and Tulle looks beautiful and graceful on Ayu's body. Alex uses two-toned dark blue tuxedos.

Smile as if they do not want to be separated from their lips. Don't they deserve Oskar's trophy for their perfect performance? Ayu's heart smiled mocking herself. Every now and then Ayu glanced at Alex, stealing glances at that handsome face.

"Where, pretty, right?" alex whispered beside Ayu's ear.

She turned and smiled at Alex. I don't know since when Alex's voice sounded beautiful in Ayu's ears. This marriage was completely unwanted by Ayu, but seeing how perfectly Alex prepared everything, she felt very happy. It was as if Ayu's dream wedding had come true.

Romantic music and perfect decoration on the rooftop. Not so many invitations, really a very intimate party. Not to mention the dress that Alex prepared for her, not the white dress commonly used by brides, but Ayu felt more beautiful than all the brides she had ever seen.

"I'm very happy with your marriage" said Richard sincerely, "Ayu is one of my favorite person, so don't you dare to play with her."

Alex could hear a threatening tone in every word Richard. Somehow he and Richard never got along, maybe because he hated the fact that Tamara was happier with him.

"I like to play around, Richie. But marriage is not a toy, is it."

Richard nodded slowly. He smiled lightly at the glass he was shaking slowly, then gulped down the contents of the glass in one gulp.

"Yes, not a game" Richard said again. He walked closer to Tamara.

Alex's eyes trailed on Richard who immediately wrapped his arms around Tamara's back, also giving a brief kiss on her forehead. Alex snorted in annoyance, he placed his empty glass on a nearby table and followed Richard's steps. The foolish mind must have mastered his thoughts by now.

Alex smiles at Tamara and Richard then draws closer to Ayu who is beside Richard. He wrapped his arms around Ayu's back and gave a kiss on Ayu's forehead. She does not have Tamara, but she has Ayu, the sweet Ayu.

"Ho-ho, the newlyweds are different, yes," mocked Sheilla's cousin Alex who happens to be Karin's friend.

"Obviously, no interest in trying?" alex joke.

"But how does it feel to be married without a date?" ask Sheilla.

"It's stickier he said" replied Karin, then chuckled.

"Did you, honey?" Alex asks Ayu based on Karin's statement.

"Eh." Ayu looked at Alex. He didn't expect Alex would attack him like that. He put both his hands around Alex's waist.

Ayu gave her sweetest smile to Alex, while her fingers pinched the hard of Alex's waist which she hugged.

"See!" said Alex showing off his closeness to Ayu, "sticky."

They laugh together.

"I went there first" said Tamara after Reina whispered.

The sounds of cheers and piano beats began to be heard. Ayu and Alex stared at the mini stage, where Tamara was sitting playing the piano and Marissa was standing holding the mic.

"I've been singing for a long time, so please be understood!" pinta Marissa with a smile etched on her face.

The cheers sounded again.

Alex hugged his mother and could feel the vibrations of the female body that had given birth to her as a result of crying. It was the first time in years that she never hugged her mother. Alex held back his smile, while Ayu looked at Karin with glaring eyes.

"I'll promise you nothing because promises would be broken. I just want you to know that we will forever be the only mothers of my children. I may not be able to give you anything you want, but I will try to give you everything I have." Alex kissed the back of Ayu's hand.
