The Part 13
A month has passed..
Jiana and her friends finished their internship well without any problems. Their performance is good too. Sanjaya company highly appreciates them and will always be open to them if they want to work here.
The internship is over, but this is not good for Jiana. As per the agreement of their two families, Jiana and Raka will get married as soon as possible.
Jiana could only give up. No more reason to buy time. Jiana could only obey her parents.
Both families are meeting to discuss wedding preparations. This meeting was held at Raka's parents' house.
"Ma, Jiana wants a simple wedding. If it could only be attended by the closest family." Jiana.
They look at each other. This is their only child's marriage. How can it be done simply. Marriage is not an embarrassment. Why it should be covered from others.
"Why baby?" Desi asked while looking at Jiana.
Jiana fell silent and hesitated to reveal the reason. He does not want everyone to know that he will marry Raka, his college friend, he feels not ready to publicize his relationship with Raka.
"That's Jiana ma's request. If you don't want to, we better not get married." Threat Jiana.
"Eh, that's it." Desi's speech does not accept.
"It's okay mbak. We can have a reception when they're ready to publicize their relationship." Mira. He smiled at Desi.
Desi glanced at Alex for a moment. After getting approval from Alex, Desi complies with her daughter's request. Jiana developed her smile.
"Raka wants to advance this wedding." Raka said, he grinned towards Jiana.
"Where can it be like that? Can't!" Jiana said no.
"You go forward or back is the same, baby. The point is to get married eventually, right? Why delay any longer." Reveal Raka and be taken by her family.
Jiana snorted in annoyance, she was sure Raka was intentionally doing this. He did not stop to make Jiana upset. Raka can always make Jiana not wrinkled in front of him.
After a small debate, they finally decided to advance the wedding date. This was all because the weddings held were simple. It didn't take long to prepare.
Raka smiled triumphantly towards Jiana. Jiana looked at him in annoyance, but she had to keep her mood in order to keep looking happy. There was only one week to prepare for the wedding and this was too sudden.
Jiana could not argue anymore. There are only two options, the wedding is held one more month but with festive or they get married simply but one more week. As a result, he was forced to choose to be held simply of course.
"Come with me, there's something I want to talk about!" Jiana Whisper. Raka nodded and they left the living room towards the backyard.
"What's wrong?" Raka asked when they had reached the backyard.
"It doesn't matter if we get married next week or when. But you can't force me to do my duty as a wife! As long as I don't agree, you can't force me." Jiana. Actually Raka was a little surprised. But if he refused these terms, he was sure Jiana would balk at this marriage.
"Okay, are there any other conditions?" Raka asked while looking at Jiana sharply.
"That's it." Reply Jiana, he grinned towards Raka.
