“You'd better get married again, Dion.” All eyes immediately looked at Tiara. Even Dion was to the point of advancing his body with glaring eyes.

“Do not talk carelessly, Ma'am!” spray Dion did not believe what he heard.

“What are you talking about this, Ara?” mami asked followed by her buying eyes.

“Are you aware of what you said just now?” Papi asked too. Not done with the words of his eldest son earlier.

“Yes, I am aware of what I said just now, Pi,” Tiara replied with a face full of seriousness. “Dion better get married again. We don't know until when Lily's gonna keep this up. Whether five years, ten years or up..”.

“No,” cut Dion fast. “I don't want to marry again. She should have given support and prayers for Lily's recovery. Instead of even giving such an absurd suggestion!” Dion emotions. Thinking about Lily's miserable situation and Lily's refusal to be approached by her was very frustrating. Now the only brother even added to the burden of the mind by proposing marriage. Even he himself never thought in that direction.

“Iya, Ara. We should be trying even more for the recovery of Lily,” said mami trying to dampen Dion's emotions are peaking. Although honestly, my mother is also not so sure anymore about Lily's recovery.

“Mi, for this year we have been trying our best for Lily's recovery. Move it to other hospitals and bring in great doctors. But so far there has been no change. We are not not trying to cure Lily,” explained Tiara.

Dion nibbles temple. Tiara's description of their efforts over the past year made her head even more throbbing in pain. It cannot be denied that is how it is. Dion then rose. It could be that his head exploded if he still listened to Tiara's unreasonable chatter.

“Dion...”.

“There will be no wedding, Ma'am,” concluded Dion quickly. “Lily will be healed. He will definitely recover.” The man then left without excuse to go upstairs to his room. Although he was aware that his attitude was disrespectful to leave in such a manner, but he was already annoyed at Tiara.

Dion’s POV

I circled my gaze to every corner of this room after first sitting on the side of the bed. This room is back to how it was when I was single, silent and silent.

There were no more Lily books scattered to the bed. No longer do I hear her laughter while watching her favorite Asian drama. Nothing bothers me anymore when I work seriously. No more questions about the lecture material addressed to me.

I exhale to loosen the weight that is squeezing the chest. To be honest, I'm so tired of all this. For a year I focused on her treatment for which there was no result at all. And during that time I ignored the work, myself and everything around me.

It's not that I'm not sincere with everything I've done for Lily. But doing something that has no results in a fairly long period of time, anyone will slowly feel tired and gradually there is a desire to give up.

“Akkkhh!”

I screamed in frustration as I grabbed my hair. I'm angry at everything. Life is playing on me to be unhappy.

“Dion, Mbak in, yes?”

It turns out it was Ma'am Tiara. Why else would he see me? Talk about that silly wedding again?

Not long was the sound of the door opening and footsteps slowly approaching me. I was still silent with my head down and my hands as support. I felt Mbak Tiara sitting beside me.

“Dion...” His voice softly called my name. Not like the time below. His hand touched my shoulder. But I immediately stopped his words.

“What else, Ma'am?” I complained in annoyance while raising my head. “Please don't talk about that silly wedding again,” I said tightly with my head turned to face.

He even smiled lightly. His hands raised higher and higher and allowed my hair that might fall apart. “But unfortunately that's what Mbak wants to talk about.”

“Mbak, please. Don't put me in this situation. Everything will be back to normal as before. I can wait for him until he's healed. Lily just needs time to accept all this reality.” I'm convincing. Even though I myself do not know until when my wife's condition is so continued.

“Dion.” Ma'am Tiara looked me in the eye. So did I. No, it's more fitting that I glance at the dislike of my sister who will definitely urge me to follow her wishes. His hand has moved to hold my hand. “Expert medical experts alone can not be sure when Lily will recover. Or according to your judgment, do you see Lily getting better?”

I threw away my face so that my eyes would not rub against my brother. I lie if I answer yes.

“Mbak has been thinking about this for a long time.” Mbak Tiara still spoke softly and it was able to dampen my emotions that had gone up. “We want to see you live a better life, not slumped on in this circle. We both also have to think about the greatest wishes of papi and mami who are getting older.”

I had my eyes meet Mbak Tiara again. Ask for an explanation for his last sentence. “What do Mbak mean?” my question does not understand.

Mbak Tiara took a breath and displayed a pleading look, just like mami when she wanted to. “You may be able to live this way for a long time. But, do you not understand that papi and mami want a successor?”

I helplessly got up and walked over to the window that showed the sky was already dark. I still remain selfish even though Mbak Tiara has said what the biggest goal is to ask me to marry again. “Mbak, please don't force me. Everything will be back to how it used to be,” my door with eyes glaring far through the clear glass of that window.

For a few minutes, Tiara fell silent in place. So did I who kept looking at the night horizon. The dark night is as dark as my heart.

“Alright, Dion.” Mbak Tiara was silent for a moment and then stood up to me. “If Mbak can still have another child, Mbak will not urge you to marry.” I felt a swab in my arm. “You should know, you're the only hope of papi and mami and Ariel and Mbak. Anyway we all. Ariel can't always come here as our parents' solace. You yourself know that Kharel is an only child. Ariel spent even more time at my in-laws' house than at ours.”

I closed my eyes to all my brother's words. Until finally Mbak Tiara stepped away leaving me who was still flinching in front of the window.

Mbak Tiara who has opened the door again said, “we wait a few more months. If Lily still shows no signs of healing, you should get married.”
