Floriography: Red Roses
Chapter 13

“Wah I did not expect at all to meet you again here.”

Tracy turns around, and finds Louis standing behind her. He had just left the restroom to wash his hands after all the dishes had been served, and the guests were starting to leave.

Tracy rolled her eyeballs and folded her hands in front of her chest.

“I told you I was in Kyoto for a reason. You're as stubborn as if you knew it all. You already know that I'm not lying, right, now? Satisfied?” Tracy took her breath. He couldn't be upset with this guy. Anything that comes out of his mouth always sounds annoying. Are his ears troubled?

“I told you to lie about you not knowing where Gracy is, not about you being a journalist or something. Care my demons about you being a journalist, model or bus driver.” Louis stepped closer. Tracy hissing.

“If I knew where Gracy was you think I'd be here by now? I'll obviously be somewhere with her.” Tracy whispers. He does not like to argue with others, because he will always end up crying.

“Then why did you get to be in Kyoto at the same time as Gracy?” Louis folded his arms in front of his chest. Tracy rolled her eyeballs.

“I wouldn't be in Kyoto if Naka hadn't asked me for help, stupid.”

Louis grunting. “Hah, reason.”

“Hey, amateur photographer, look. Tell me I'm lying to you about I don't know where Gracy is, what do I owe you so I have to give you that information? Gracy is an artist! You could be a fanatic who wants to hurt Gracy, I don't know you, I have no obligation to tell Gracy whereabouts to anyone, including you!” Tracy pointed at Louis' chest.

Louis took a breath.

“Already, I don't think it's time we argue now in this place. But don't expect just because you have Gracy's face, I'll be fine with you. You're lucky I'm a photographer and not a reporter, if I'm a reporter, Gracy's name will be smeared tomorrow after I've made an article about how rude Gracy Manson's twin sister is.” Louis said and walked away.

Tracy gasps. He's getting more upset now.

“Hey, Trace, Louis told you what? I'd like to eavesdrop but he's out.” Violetta walked up to him while drying her wet hands.

“Oh, God. You're late, Violetta. He said, ‘You're lucky I opened a reporter, otherwise Gracy's name is already

smudged because I'm going to make an article about how rough the twin sister Gracy Manson is.’” Tracy mimics Louis's way of speaking while sneering at him. Tracy growling.

“Don't let me get too close to that lunatic, or I can claw his face! Yes, indeed I am rude unlike the graceful and gentle Gracy Manson! What's the problem?”

Violetta patted Tracy's back while chuckling.

“Wah, she messed with the wrong person.” Violetta said as she looked towards Louis walking, just in case the man turned back.

“Yes right?!” Tracy raised her fist. Violetta chuckled.

“Already. After this we will go directly to the hotel to clean up the items and try some dresses before putting them in the suitcase. Tomorrow dawn we have departed, so it's good today we are not much everywhere.” Viotit looks niceletta patted Tracy's shoulder and walked past her.

Tracy nodded, sighing.

“Why do people in this industry suck so much?” Tracy whispered and walked back to the VIP room to pick up her bag.

The train journey to Tokyo is not very pleasant. In addition to the cold morning air, he had to one carriage with Louis Troy. That's bad enough.

But the atmosphere of Tokyo was quite an entertainment for him. Once they arrived, Violetta immediately invited them to breakfast near the station, a bowl of warm udon to warm themselves. Tracy is grateful that all teams split up to eat where they wanted to while still in the station environment and asked to return in an hour.

Tracy's churning her udon. She couldn't lie but the fact that some Frozen Flower dresses turned out to be pretty on her body, made her think more about Gracy's feelings when the news reached her ears. Because there's no way he can hide this from Gracy. Not likely.

Given that, Tracy immediately took her phone and checked the incoming e-mail. Tracy. What if it turns out that Gracy deliberately did not reply to an e-mail because he was upset with Tracy? What if Gracy gets angry?

Actually, all this time, Gracy never immediately replied to his e-mail. It could take a week for Gracy to reply to her e-mail. Once upon a time, Gracy only replied a month later because he was too busy. But Tracy couldn't help but worry about this.

“Vi, this Tokyo fashion show is much bigger right than the one in Kyoto?”

Tracy looked at Violetta, trying to hide her anxiety. Violetta was still focused on her food, and without turning her head she replied.

“Of course, Trace. The presentation in Kyoto cannot be compared to Tokyo. The venue that we will use is even the venue used by Tokyo Fashion Week usually. There is no runway in Kyoto, right? In Tokyo later the runway is large, with luxurious lights and that comes also a lot.”

Tracy nodded. But he's done everything, he can't turn around now.

“Oh yes, because the show is tomorrow, later in the afternoon we can practice first, the place has given me permission.” Violetta started

sipping her noodles, and making Tracy remember that she also needs to start eating now before her noodles cool down.

“Um.. sorry—“

Tracy was just about to put her udon in the mouth when a young girl approached them. Tracy quickly lowered her chopsticks and looked at the girl, and there was a black-bound book.

“Miss Manson and Miss Nakajima? I'm your loyal reader.” The girl spoke English with a thick Japanese accent, and she bent her body slightly.

Violetta chuckled, and straight away

speaking Japanese.

“You read our book? It must be ‘Logika’ huh?” Violetta pointed to the book that was in the girl's arms. Violetta and Tracy write several books together, but only one has a black cover, a light book that tells the love story of a girl who always prefers her logic over her heart.

“Photos and signatures?”

Violetta laughed a little and then nodded.

“Iya, can you?”

Tracy nods her head, “Ya, of course.” He thrust his hand at the girl, and he gave Tracy the pen and the book she was holding.

“What's your name?” Tracy asked the girl. The book the girl was carrying was an English version, so Tracy was sure the girl would understand what she was asking.

“Uh, Natsuki.” Embarrassed answer. Tracy gave a small laugh and signed the first page of the book, then wrote under it, “Thank you, Natsuki.” Then give a small heart sign next to him. He passed the book to Violetta, who gave the boy a signature and short words in hiragana before returning the book.

Tracy stood up and let the boy sit between Tracy and Violetta to take a photo with the front camera of the boy's phone. After that he politely bowed while thanking her many times before leaving.

“Wah, Logic huh? Also in Japan.” Tracy let out a small sigh in a whisper. Violetta chuckles.

“Your partner is of Japanese blood, of course, up here. It's the dumbest work we've ever done, I think. The result is good, I like it. But remember not? At first we wanted to make a fantasy book series, but then somehow we ended up making another romance book.” Violetta grunts. “I haven't changed my mind, I want us to write a book of fantasy series after this, which can rival the popularity of Harry Potter and Mortal Instrument.”

Tracy gave a small laugh, and actually started eating this time. Tracy and Violetta are both lovers of fantasy fiction books, but both always end up with romance books, or chicklit.

“Let me finish this last series then we can talk about that big dream, man.”

Violetta chuckles again, “Yes, for me too it's a big dream.” He sighed. “But I don't know, I'll be busy with Naka, but really I want to write again.”

“You can do it, make an alpha-beta series with me. Let me be a bet so you don't have to think much, when you're dead-end just throw it at me.”

Violetta nodded.

“Oh, yes, we have not had time to talk about Steve the handsome directly. How's story?”

Tracy screeched small, a little enthusiastic about talking about this forgotten topic.

“Ugh, Vi! Our relationship is progressing fast! He calls a lot now, and yesterday he just said, How beautiful is Kyoto? I want to see it with you.” Tracy imitates Steve and then screams again while clenching his fingers because amused.

Violetta laughed, then clapped her hands.

“Excellent! I didn't expect him to be so frank with you. I thought he was the kind of cool-ass guy who wanted to be adored before he left.”

Tracy rolled her eyeballs.

“No, Vi, from the first second alone he immediately as if to say, if he did not like others

comparing me to Grace, if she's more interested in me than Grace, and other nonsense.” Tracy sighed, “That's bullshit or not I don't care, it feels like I'm starting to fall for her.”

Violetta muttered, then stopped and finished her chewing.

“Be careful Trace, I feel this is too much like a romance novel. I'm a novel writer but I know falling in love can't

as easy as it is.”

“Yaaa, I know Vi.” Trace took a breath. “But maybe because he is a reader of novels so he can be as bright as that? We have known.” for a long time

“Yes, you met him at Junior High, then what? You have never talked about sensitive topics, you have never even tried to get to know each other right.”

Trace nodded. Violetta has a point, too, but anyway, she wants to fall in love with Steve, and it doesn't seem far away.

“Yah... at least I know him well because I used to love him.”

“Yes, you liked him, about ten years ago. Short time, right?” Violetta asked with sarcasm. But any sharp sarcasm will never sound sharp from Violetta's tongue. The way the girl spoke was very subtle, sometimes it could sound resolute if she had started to get angry, but the sarcasm was not enough to make the words stab Trace in the heart.

“Ah... You are not wrong anyway.” Trace took another breath.

“Contact, Trace, enjoy these moments, don't rush.”

Trace nodded. “I envy you and Jasper.”

“I know.” Violetta chuckled.

“Love is hard, why am I a love novel writer?”

“Ask your brain and fingers.”

“You too, Vi. Don't act like you're already at the fiction writer's level.”

“At least I have a girlfriend.”

Tracy Manson will never win a debate with Violetta Nakajima.
