3. Ben and Daniel

A package landed in Jeslin's office. Apparently some parcels from Oma and Opanya who live in Bali just arrived after passing a few days on the way between couriers. The Oma Opa he still had was from Papa's side, and they were the only family he was closest to. Actually Jeslin still has Om and Aunt, only they all live abroad and rarely return to the country.

Jeslin immediately contacted Daniel, as he had to share the food with his sister. "And where are you?" ask Jeslin as soon as the phone is connected.

"As usual. In office. Why, sis?"

"Yes, I'll stop by your office. There's a gift from Oma."

"Well, fun. Okay, I'll wait."

Jeslin's out of office at break time. Carrying the paper bag that he had prepared for his sister. He has divided Balinese food from his Oma fairly. Even Jeslin also shared it for friends in the office. His oma really likes to make various snacks, and Jeslin really likes food made by the grandmother.

The multi-storey building that once belonged to the Papa, has now been switched by Daniel. As soon as Jeslin came in, at the front door he was greeted by employees who knew who Jeslin was.

"Where's daniel?" ask her while walking towards the elevator.

The woman in the neat suit also followed Jeslin's steps. "There's in his office, Mom. Let me help you with the groceries" he said, trying to be polite. He is a secretary Daniel who actually wanted to leave the office for a while because of the company leader's man to buy coffee.

"No need. I'm alone. Where are you going, Siska?" asked Jeslin while glancing at him.

"Told Mr. Daniel to buy coffee up front. There's a friend up there too."

"Friends? Wh who? A boyfriend?"

"No, Ma. Men."

"Oh yes already. You just buy coffee there. I ordered one too, black coffe, yeah. Thanks Siska," said Jeslin, who had now entered the elevator, and closed the door.

Siska just stood in front of the elevator door while nodding. Everyone knows Daniel has a good taste for coffee. He rarely drinks coffee at the office, or orders to the pantry. Daniel prefers coffee made cafe in front of his office.

Jeslin is on the 15th floor. Where it's the top floor of this building, and Daniel's room is. This floor has only one room that Daniel belongs to. Siska's workplace was right in front of Daniel's entrance, with a large, long desk plus an adult chest-high bulkhead for his privacy.

Without hesitation, Jeslin walked towards Daniel's room while carrying several paper bags in both hands. Arriving at the door that read the director, Jeslin immediately went inside without knocking or saying his greetings first.

The two men inside turned to him. Both were surprised by the arrival of the girl.

"Well, is brother here? Didn't see Siska? Can help bring things," said the sister as she greeted her brother and immediately took over Jeslin's luggage.

"Meet you downstairs. I can do it myself. Pity Siska back and forth."

"Sit down first. Tired, right?"

The other man, Daniel's friend earlier, was dumbfounded while continuing to pay attention to Jeslin. The girl also looked at the man earlier while frowning.

"You ...?" jeslin asked while pointing at the man who was still standing stiffly by Daniel's desk.

"Yes, i. We ... See you again" he said with a faint smile.

Ben did not expect that he would meet up again with Jeslin at this place. Moreover, he was shocked when he heard Daniel call the girl with the name of brother. Ben had no idea that the girl he had met twice before was Daniel's older brother, his best friend. Daniel never introduced his family. Ben only heard the story of Daniel's family from the mouths of his best friend, without knowing how they looked. There was not a single photo in his study, of his parents or brother. They had never taken a family photo before. No matter how close Daniel and Jeslin are, the two have never once perpetuated togetherness in the past.

"Well, you guys know each other already?" daniel asked, staring at the two.

"Not knowing. Just ever met," said Jeslin while opening the luggage earlier.

"Where are you?"

"Two times. First in Gor a few weeks ago, second ...." Jeslin immediately glared considering the second place that he did not say to his sister.

"The second one, in ...?" daniel asked for the continuation of Jeslin's sentence earlier. Now Daniel turned to look at Ben, his best friend to give more explanation.

"Well, what a coincidence that is. Don't be fooled, " Daniel quipped.

The door was knocked, Siska's voice diverted the conversation earlier. Daniel immediately told his secretary to come in. The smell of coffee went straight into the base of Jeslin's nose. He immediately asked for his ration. "My mountain, Siska?" pinta the girl with adorable behavior. He reached out his right hand to Siska, tilting his head to the left, not forgetting that Jeslin's sweet smile came back up.

"This, Ma. Black coffee with a little sugar?" siska asked what she had ordered.

"Rubber. Pinter you," said Jeslin immediately received a brown paper glass from Siska's hand.

"Don't you call Oma?" Daniel immediately sat down next to his brother, sipping his hot coffee. Ben, who had been standing, was sitting near them. Several times he looked at Jeslin without the girl knowing. Jeslin looks adorable to Ben. Until he did not want to turn to look at Jeslin who was now in front of him. The way Jeslin sipped coffee with a noise, while opening the snack he brought himself earlier. Without hesitation and embarrassment, he opened a fruit pie, then bit it. The tip of his index finger and thumb, he kissed because of the rest of the pie left there.

The two brothers were involved in a conversation about their grandparents. Ben didn't mind when they didn't think he existed, because he didn't involve him in the family chat. After all, Ben was enjoying staring at all the behavior of Jeslin that he just knew now.

But a question flashed through his head. Recalling about his meeting with Jeslin at the obstetrician's place yesterday. Ben thinks Jeslin isn't married, but why did he go to the obstetrician.

An hour passed, the coffee was marked along with some snacks that Jeslin brought. He finally decided to go back to his office again.

"Don't you want me to take you?" daniel asked as Jeslin was tidying up his appearance, as the crumbs of pastries that fell on his brother's favorite gray blazer made Jeslin look more like a child, who ate a mess.

"No, I'm taking a taxi." Jeslin did not stare at the younger brother, and only focused on his clothes.

"Eum, sorry, just be with me. It just so happened that I wanted to go back, too" Ben said suddenly.

Jeslin looked at his sister's best friend sharply. "No need. I can go home by myself. Thank you," he said rather cynically.

Daniel cleared his throat as he glanced at Ben, wanting to see how Ben's reaction got a rejection from Jeslin. But Ben seemed to be able to master the situation. Ben only smiled faintly and continued to look at Jeslin who had no regard for his whereabouts at all. Jeslin finally left Daniel's room. Ben was still staring at him, even when the door was closed, making Daniel pull the tip of his lips. Daniel approached and whispered. "Why? My sister's pretty, right?" daniel asked and managed to get Ben to look at him and immediately throw a punch into Daniel's flat stomach.

The two then sit back and discuss the business plan that was discussed before Jeslin came. But in the middle of the conversation, Ben ventured to ask about Jeslin further. He tried to make it a stale chatter, so as not to be too noticeable what Ben's own intentions and goals.

"Your brother ... I'm married, right?" ben asked as he sipped the coffee that had started to cool.

Daniel frowned then glanced at his best friend. "Why?"

"Just ask. It looks like he's grown up and deserves a husband and a child" Ben said a bit too often when asked like that.

"You mean, my brother looks old?"

"No, Nile." Ben seemed to show a sour face because of Daniel's sentence earlier.

"Haha. Yeah, I was just kidding. No, my sister is not married. Still single. Wh why? You have a crush?" satirize Daniel while teasing Ben.

"Can you?"

"Well, why can't. Go ahead, if you have more intentions. Well, just so strong to face my brother's attitude."

"You mean? What kind of attitude?" ask Ben who is curious.

"My brother is not easy to get close to men. Even impressed like to close themselves. And you saw it for yourself, didn't you, earlier? How's it?"

"Oh so."

"Yes. My acquaintance who intends to approach Jeslin's sister is not just you. A bunch. They just always stopped in the middle of the road, and retreated slowly. No one can stand it."

Ben took a deep breath. There was a speck of hope for him to be able to get close to his best friend's brother. But there was one question that stuck in his heart right now.

If Jeslin is single, why did he come to the gynecologist yesterday?
