Ch. 8 - Fei Tian's

Under the blue horizon, a jet-black-haired child was playing a long wooden twig as if the twig was a spear. His movements were so nimble and full of strength, yet had a cruel and merciless impression.

After demonstrating hundreds of movements for an hour, he stopped and rubbed sweat sweat on his forehead, “Heat once.” he took off his wet clothes and lay on the grassy ground.

“Yin-gege view! Yang'er found a very large cricket!” a boy very similar to him came up with a delighted cry.

Fei Yin was closing her eyes but the loud scream from her sister made her widen her eyes, “Ah you are.” Fei Yin took a cross-legged sitting position then scratched her ears.

"Hehehe.pardon Yang'er, Yin-gege.”.

It had been three months since Fei Yin had returned to the past. For these three months Fei Yin had been training very hard. He has overhauled his dantian twice which means he has overhauled his dantian 5 times in total. He has also perfected 60% of the Blood Purification exercises, above 35% for Muscle Change and Bone Compaction but no improvement on Marrow Cleansing.

Fei Yin began to feel a lot of improvement in her body strength as well as her stamina. Fei Yin had also refined and also adjusted some of his spear movements.

“Stop playing, Yang'er!” a man of stout stature with a face like a man in his early 30s came up to the two of them and rebuked Fei Yang who was intending to hunt down more crickets.

‘Hm?’ Fei Yin was unable to recognize the man's face, but hearing his way of calling Fei Yang herself was convinced that the man was Fei Tian or his father and Fei Yang, more commonly known as Patriarch Fei.

“Dad-!” Fei Yang looked enthusiastic and excited when he saw his father coming, he immediately ran and jumped into the man's embrace. However Fei Yin did not show the same reaction as Fei Yang.

“Dad why haven't you seen us all this time?! Yang'er misses you so much!” Fei Tian smiled warmly. He stroked Fei Yang's white hair gently.

Fei Tian's gaze fell on Fei Yin who had stood up then saluted her, “Dad.”

Fei Yin felt such a great sense of longing upon seeing Fei Tian. The last time he saw Fei Tian, his father was in a critical condition and he was very sorry when it was not strong enough to help his father. The longing Fei Yin felt for Fei Tian was different from the longing she felt for her mother.

Fei Tian raised his eyebrows when he saw Fei Yin's posture. His gaze fell back on his little son who was hugging him and alternately looked at his two sons.

“You look taller than Yang'er.. Didn't mom give you enough food?” Fei Tian asked Fei Yang because he was astonished that his twin sons were quite different.

Fei Yin and Fei Yang were both 8 years old. However, Fei Yin's posture looked like a child aged 10 to 11 years while Fei Yang was postured like children his age.

“No yeah! Yang'er always eats with a lot to become stronger!”

Fei Tian took a breath and began to pay closer attention to Fei Yin, ‘She.. Already remodeled his dantian 5 times? Last time I saw him he just remodeled it 2 times.’ Fei Tian held his breath when he saw the extremely significant development of Fei Yin.

“Yin'er, come here.” Fei Yin approached her father. Fei Tian placed his palm on top of Fei Yin's head, the boy could feel a stream of warm energy flowing from Fei Tian's palm and moving throughout his body.

‘H.. It's a bit disrespectful but he's my father.’ Fei Yin knew what Fei Tian was doing. The patriarch Fei was checking the overall condition of Fei Yin's body with his qi.

Fei Tian took a deep breath, ‘His development was terrifying!’ there was an expression of shock on Fei Tian's face after checking the condition of his eldest son's body.

“How do you improve your 4 foundations so quickly?" it had only been 3 or 4 months that Fei Tian had done a closed-door training, but his son had already shown tremendous development.

Fei Yin only smiled faintly in response, “Fei Yin only practiced diligently.”

Fei Yin, Fei Tian and Chu Weilan were currently in the living room of their home. The couple sat opposite their eldest son.

Before starting to investigate and extract information from Fei Yin regarding his abnormal development, Fei Tian asked what had happened during these four months while he was doing closed-door training.

Fei Tian immediately looked at Fei Yin sharply, but his son looked back at him with a calm expression. Somehow Fei Tian felt uneasy with Fei Yin's calm expression, yet he didn't think too much.

“You should have waited for dad's decision before doing anything. Moreover, this concerns your marriage to Lan Meilian in the future.” Fei Tian could only feel relieved that his son was able to win the duel unharmed.

Actually Fei Tian was surprised because Fei Yin was able to defeat Gu Han whose martial level was far above Fei Yin, but he had the same thought as Chu Weilan when he first heard the details of the fight that Fei Yin could win by taking advantage of Gu Han's doubts.

“Now... Can you explain to dad how you improved the quality of your foundation so quickly?”

Fei Yin's facial expression changed slightly. He still had not gotten a reasonable explanation to satisfy Fei Tian.

For a few minutes Fei Yin simply fell silent, “Come Yin'er! Tell me the truth!” Fei Tian tried to suppress Fei Yin by raising his tone.

"Yin'er-!” Fei Tian wanted to suppress Fei Yin even further but Chu Weilan stopped him and looked at him sharply.

“Stop pressing Yin'er. Why are you so chasing after explanations from him? Wouldn't it be great if he thrived during these few months?” said Chu Weilan trying to free Fei Yin from Fei Tian's interrogation.

“Weilan.. I'm only worried if Yin'er practices black flow science.” Fei Tian.

“Your worries are unfounded, Tian. Yin'er is just a kid, she's only 8 and a half years old! Where can he learn the science of black flow?!”

“It is precisely because of that! Fei Yin was only 8 years old and her development was truly terrifying.. I'm just worried.”

Fei Yin's brows twitched as she saw her parents begin to argue. He may still want to hear the debate if it is still discussing about its development, but the debate between his parents began to cover many things.

“Looks like you've been lacking attention for 4 months.” Fei Tian woke up and carried Chu Weilan abruptly.

“Ah-! Tian!”

“Yin'er, continue your training. Mom and Dad wanted to do something. Take Yang'er with you and don't come back before afternoon!”

Fei Yin nodded quickly and immediately came out of the house because she knew that there would be a sacred thing between her father and mother.
