Feel It in Your Heart, My Husband

Feel It in Your Heart, My Husband
CHAPTER 46

"What's wrong with him, why didn't he pick up my call?"

Mikhail continued to compartmentalize the device in his hand. The man was in a state of anxiety because he could not contact his wife.

"Tin."

A short message entered in between the busy typing Mikhail.

"Mas don't call me first! Wait until my return next week. I'm sorry, but I have to do this."

That was the sound of the message Mikhail had received. He who was originally curious, now turned into a worry.

Worrying about their relationship is on the edge.

The man took a breath, trying to understand what was written in the message sent by his wife. Although heavy, but he tried to accept all that and waited patiently for Husna's return.

Time pass.

Mikhail who is in a slump is trying to immerse himself with work. Hopefully with busyness he can still be in sanity.

Not feeling a week has passed. As he knew, today was the day the wife came home.

Mikhail initially wanted to pick up Husna at the airport, but suddenly his mother forbade him.

Nani forbade on the grounds that his wife was coming home with her brother, Husein.

All of this was done to avoid a clash between Husein and Mikhail. Because the 29-year-old man did not accept the actions of Mikhail who had cheated on his sister, Husna.

At first the man said he would accept whatever Husein would do, because he felt he deserved it. But on the grounds that the airport was a public place, which meant it would be unethical to talk about family matters there, Mikhail finally agreed to meet Husna at home.

And, this was where the man was now, standing in the distance while staring at a hijab-wearing woman and a well-built man walking towards a car.

"Thank God, he landed safely."

Mikhail gave thanks. Although he did not show his face, the man still came to wait for Husna's return. He began to step on the gas pedal after seeing the car his wife and brother-in-law had started walking.

He followed for several hours. Mikhail remained behind the car until they reached his hometown.

After making sure the wife entered the house, then she moved from there. The goal is to find lodging. He feels the need to rest before his trial starts tomorrow. The trial will determine what will happen with her and Husna's relationship.

"Are you tired?"

The first message was sent to Mikhail's wife.

"Morning"

Husna answered briefly.

"I'm happy even if I'm just staring at you from a distance."

Second message came in.

Husna frowned slightly in wonder as he read it.

"What do you mean?"

"I'm in the village now. I went to the airport and followed you here."

Reply again.

"What, trus now where's the mas?"

Ask the woman in amazement.

"I'm at a hotel near the market, don't worry. You must be tired, rest! By.. I love you."

The man ended the conversation with their message.

Husna was silent staring at the phone screen, thinking with an unreasonable heart. Think about what path they will take tomorrow.

"Ehm, um."

A man's baritone voice reduced the girl's daydream.

"What are you thinking?"

Ask the guy who just arrived.

Husna smiled as she confirmed her sitting position.

"No mas, just checking out some college assignments."

He berkilah.

"What tasks come this late? Did you just call that traitor?"

Husyein, that handsome man with a sharp nose asked in a svelte tone.

Husna quickly shook his head, he was very familiar with the emotional nature of his brother. The man was always emotional when he heard that someone had hurt him, and that had happened since they were children.

Husyein is the type of man who is overprotective of his sister. She loved Husna very much, she was also a sister who would always be ready to put up a body to protect her sister from something she thought would hurt her. This is what caused him to be very emotional to hear what happened with Husna.

"The task came this afternoon. I'm just checking before I do it."

Husna waved the phone screen to reassure the man who was already sitting next to her.

"It's good then. That guy doesn't suit you, you never liked your matchmaking before."

Husyein stroked the veil of her sister.

"But everything happened. Regretting won't bring things back to the way they were."

Husna forced a smile.

"You're right, all we have to think about is how we're gonna solve this problem as soon as we can."

Husyein.

"Rest!"

The man walked in, leaving Husna with an even worse feeling. He was trying to understand the meaning of the word "completed" that his brother had just said.

I do not know how long Husna spent on the terrace while thinking about the path he would take. On the one hand, she did love the man who had hurt her once, but on the other, there was the mother and the older brother who seemed not to accept all of this.

Tired, finally Husna walked in and began to lay down on the bed. while praying that tomorrow all is well. And hope that their relationship can be improved and can be received by all parties.

***

Morning's approaching.

Husna and Ningsih were already busy in the kitchen. They were preparing lunch for all the family members. Until his ears caught the sound of a car engine stopping in the yard.

Husna, who was cleaning the vegetables, washed her hands and walked to the yard to see who was coming.

The woman's eyes immediately widened when she saw who had just gotten out of the car. She's Mikhail, the husband she missed last night.

Husna stepped up to catch up with Mikhail, but his hands were pulled from behind, he turned his head, and it was Husyein who was holding him back.

The brother's face looks red. He went ahead of Husna and..

"Bugh."

One blow to Mikhail's face, given as a welcome.

"Ah. My mother!"

Husna who was surprised to see that, immediately shouted and ran.

"Is that how you serve my sister? You're an asshole, and you don't deserve to be with Him at all!"

Husyein began mamaki furious.

Mikhail only fell silent, he deliberately let the brother-in-law vent his anger. Because he felt that it was worth it.

"No, mas. Please stop!"

Husna's eyes began to look watery. His hands are strong, the hand of the brother who wants to land the next blow.

"What the fuck?"

A man's voice can stop the tension. They turned their heads and at the door was seen the father standing there.

"Is this how you solve problems, do you want to embarrass our family?"

Shaleh said with an emotional face.

The middle-aged man was angry, because the child was venting anger in the courtyard of the house, which of course invited the curiosity of some neighbors.

Husyein fell silent, he took his hand off Mikhail's collar, then walked in with an erratic rising and falling breath.

"Come in! We're talking about this inside."

Shaleh let his son-in-law in.

"Are you okay?"

Husna asked with a worried face, she felt very guilty over the blue cheeks of her husband.

"It's okay, I deserve this."

Mikhail could still smile even though his cheeks were sore.

The man then led the wife inside, to face his trial which of course would not be easy.
