Feel It in Your Heart, My Husband

Feel It in Your Heart, My Husband
CHAPTER 33

This morning, a new man woke up as the clock ticked off at 10 p.m. He opened his eyes with a crumpled body and a slightly dizzy head.

How not, the man has been almost 3 days, 3 nights can not close his eyes. He was only able to fall asleep, when he had spent a few grains of sleeping pills he asked one of his friends, who happened to work as a doctor.

This is the 4th day since his wife's departure. Since then, Mikhail has lost his way of life. He didn't eat, didn't sleep and didn't even go anywhere. He only stayed in the usual room occupied by Husna all this time.

Mikhail hugged and smelled the scent of shampoo that was still left on the pillow. inhaling and enjoying it like an addicted person. Spending the day trying to stay sane because his heart was constantly struggling to meet the woman.

"Ting, keg.. ting, keg.."

Samar heard a bell cry from outside.

Although he knew someone was waiting for him to open the door, the man still walked to the bathroom. Watering his body with warm water, while hoping that the dizziness that struck will soon disappear.

"Why don't you open your mama's door?"

The first sentence he received when he set foot out of the room.

"Don't you have the key?"

Mikhail replied as he stepped towards the kitchen.

"But mom is objecting to carrying this!"

Nani stopped the food she was carrying from home.

"Ma, why do you bother carrying all this?"

Mikhail returned to the living room when he heard a loud noise resulting from his mother's anger.

"Mama will not bother to bring this, if only you want to eat the food in this house. Bik Sani reported that you have not touched the food he served for a few days."

Nani followed the child's steps towards the dining room.

Mikhail put down the bushel, then walked back to the freezer.

"Mikha, what happened to you? You have not been in the office for 4 days. Do you feel so lost for Husna's departure?"

The mother's question made Mikhail's hand stop when he wanted to pour water into the glass. He turned around, then looked at the woman who had given birth to him deeply. The man was silent for a few seconds, while continuing to look at the mother with a longing look.

"Hahahaha...have you come here to investigate me?"

Mikhail suddenly laughed.

Nani was astonished and speechless by a thousand languages. He seemed to not recognize who the strange man who was lying before him at this moment.

"Well, I didn't go to the office because I was enjoying my freedom over the troublemaker woman's departure. I really enjoyed the day I returned to a normal life, after 8 months of being forced to be with him every day."

Mikhail poured water again, then gulped it down. He felt his throat was currently blocked something that made his chest tight.

"Until when do you keep lying to yourself, Micah?"

Nani asked while reading the child's gurgle.

"What does mama mean?"

Mikhail turned his attention towards the bushel to relieve the nervousness over the sharp gaze of the woman before him.

"It's not too late to admit it now. Don't let Husna find another man who can make her comfortable."

Nani approached and rubbed the back of the man who was forcing food into his mouth.

"Aren't we getting a divorce soon? So it doesn't matter if he finds someone."

Mikhail spoke by swallowing pain in the chest.

"Remember, speech is do'a. Pursue before they take people. She is a good woman, beautiful, smart and many other advantages. Who wouldn't like a woman like your wife?"

"That's according to my mother's judgment."

Mikhail interrupts.

"Everyone would have thought the same when asked about Husna, including you. Remember, a woman needs someone who can make her comfortable. So don't let another man take his heart. Hold it while it's still halal."

Mikhail kept silent, he just chewed and swallowed all the food without knowing what he was enjoying right now. The man's thoughts were only on the mother's words.

"There's no point letting your ego win. After all, parting with someone you love must be very painful. Make peace with your heart, and calm his heart."

Nani walked away leaving the downcast man earlier. He knew that right now Mikhail was at war with his own mind.

After making sure the mother left her house, the man's spoon fell down. He could no longer lift it to keep it in his mouth.

Mikhail's hand moved to the face, trying to hold back the sobbing that started to echo. The man's shoulders also moved in unison, as if in harmony with the sound of the cry of sorrow for not being able to endure how much he missed the woman.

A growing longing pierced the recesses of the soul, crushing his heart and body. For some reason every breath, Husna's name just kept dancing. He made himself live in endless suffering.

Mikhail was initially convinced that after the woman's departure, his heart would return to what it used to be. Living happily with Amanda, the lover she once loved.

But it turns out that what was imagined did not happen according to plan. Precisely with the departure of Husna, Mikhail became aware that what he felt all along was love. True love, for an unwanted wife.

It was too late, but the woman was gone. He left a bloody wound in his heart.

Elsewhere, a woman is seen just entering a class, where she will learn the language of the country where she currently lives.

Husna who was in a hurry, suddenly just collided with a chest field belonging to a man who happened to intend to leave the classroom.

"Im sorry,"

The man spoke first, he swiftly restrained Husna's staggered shoulders.

"It's okay, thanks"

Husna quickly removed the man's hand from his arm.

"Ape you Indonesian, or Malaysian?"

The man spoke again in Malay.

"I am indonesian. You?"

Husna asked back because he felt a little happy, because he could meet his fellow Asians.

"Oh, nice to meet you. Saye is Malaysian. Saye Hafiz." Name."

The man extended a hand.

Husna smiled, he did not return the hand of the man named Hafiz, but he folded his hands on his chest.

"My name is Husna."

The answer remained with a sweet smile.

"Excuse me, I'm in first."

Husna lowered his head and started to step inside.

"Don't."

Hafiz bowed.

"From heaven mane also who stopped here?"

The man muttered as he continued to stare towards the back of the woman who had already left him.
