Father to My Daughter

Father to My Daughter
brother Alvian's visit to Jennie's house.

That day, one school boisterous with her ejected Jennie from school. And even Andi was reported to be transferring schools. That's the news Jennie heard from Tara who came to visit.

His eyes looked at his friend. Little did she expect a woman as smart as Jennie, even with her intelligence, Jennie often entered the parallel ranks of the class. You could have an accident like this.

"Jen, the last time you left, we had a sports lesson, right? High jump again. Is your content okay?" ask Tara.

Jennie shook her head while smiling. "You know Tara? People say, if we get pregnant out of wedlock. The baby will be stronger, maybe he wants to show the mistakes of his father and mother. I thought this baby could fall. But it turns out that it was true. How strong you want to jump, he stays" Jennie replied. Tara knew the corner of Jennie's eyes was starting to grow.

"Jen, what about Andi's sister?" ask Tara.

"How what?"

"He's taking responsibility, isn't he?" ask Tara.

Jennie sighed. "You've decided not to hold him accountable."

"Why?"

"He doesn't deserve to be a father to her." Jennie rubbed her stomach. For a moment he felt a throbbing in his stomach. Jennie chuckles. "You agree like a son." he said.

Tara observed, Jennie already looked more mature than before. Even her motherly figure began to appear. For a moment his gaze was distracted by the math book on the porch table.

"Jennie, this?" Tara grabbed.

"Ohhh, I still like to learn. You know I like math, right? Even though I don't go to school, I still use my school hours to study at home. And this?" Jennie played a recording of the class commotion.

"Before going out, I had time to record the last moments at school. Demi could feel the boisterous atmosphere of the classroom. I deliberately twist this every time I study."

Tara shed tears. "I hate that guy so much." For him.

"Tara, let it go. I'm okay."

"You know? Last night I went to one of the department stores. And found the man with another woman, even he was still wearing his school uniform." said Tara.

"Let him do his best. I've forgotten it. Anyway, I feel lucky not to be married. Because if that happens. I wouldn't be able to live with him. Moreover, Brother Andi is rude Tara."

"Rude? Really true?" tara didn't believe it. "You ever flanked Jennie?"

Jennie chuckles. "That's it, I don't want to talk about it anymore. Let it be a book of the past that I'll close and bury as deeply as possible."

Tara sighed. Then look back. "What about your father?" His whisper.

"It's been almost a month since my father scolded me. I know he's very disappointed in me."

"Then your mother?"

"Mother is still behaving normally, but secretly she is also crying when she is doing her prayer service." Jennie murmured.

Tara rubbed Jennie's shoulder. "Patiently Jennie, you will definitely be able to live through this. I know you're a good woman, you're sure to get the best mate, too."

Jennie smile. "Can I still hope to get a partner?" ask Jennie.

"It's definitely Jennie. Believe me, there will be a kind father who will accept your child." Tara said encouragingly.

"Sister Alvian." He muttered very softly while smiling.

"Eh... Who?"

Jennie. "Nobody" Jennie replied with a smile.

They chatted all afternoon until the afternoon, Tara said goodbye.

At that time Jennie was about to enter, she passed her father who at that time also made Jennie bow. And continued his footsteps. While the father observed his daughter then rubbed his wet eyes and returned to move his feet out of the house.

That morning there was a vegetable merchant subscription to Sukma's mother who used to hang out in front of his house.

The merchant called out to Sukma's mother. Jennie moved out of her study chair.

"Oh, it turns out getting pregnant is really tiring. My body feels heavy right now." Jennie grabbed a sweater and put it on. Walk out of his room.

Jennie's mother told her that she had business at the bank and if there was a greengrocer she asked Jennie to take her mother's order.

While holding her stomach Jennie came out. Just one step he stopped. The vegetable cart was already crowded with mothers who were about to shop.

'How's this? Many people.' Jennie's inner. 'Ahhhh it's okay. How else, I am pregnant. I have to be brave, there's no way I'm hiding?' Jennie sighed she ventured to step out of there to get to the vegetable cart that was running away.

"Excuse me." said Jennie kindly. As expected, all the eyes of the housewives who mingled with the housekeeper also observed the enlarged stomach.

"Oh my God, Jennie, are you really pregnant?" ask mother A.

Jennie smile. "Yes" he answered. He turned his eyes to the vegetable merchant.

"My mother's order sir." he said.

"Oh yes, neng." That merchant. Take a package containing chicken liver, spinach and tempeh vegetables, as well as some other spices. Then put it in a big scraping bag.

On the sidelines, Jennie's ears began to feel uncomfortable with the whispers of the women there, not to mention with their eyes.

"This is neng," said the merchant while handing over Jennie's grocery bag.

"Thank you sir" he replied, handing over the money to the merchant. Jennie said goodbye to the mothers who were there after receiving the change.

Before long a man wearing a high school uniform came along.

"Excuse me ma'am." Greet the boys friendly.

"Jennie—" Call her when she sees Jennie coming in.

"Sister Alvian?" Very distrustful. How did she know Jennie's house?

"So that's it, her boyfriend?? How can I still go to school?" One of the mothers whispered, but Alvian could still hear. And without caring for the whisper, Alvian stepped into the fence of Jennie's house, which was just a human chest. Not too high.

"Well, um, Alvian, how do you know Jennie's house?"

"Wondering." she replied with a smile. "Can you?"

Jennie pensively returned Alvian's smile. "Can kok. Please come in." Jennie.

They sat next to a small table in the middle of them. On a porch of Jennie's house.

"Your house is beautiful, too. Maybe because of these plants." said Alvian. Jennie smile.

"Mom and dad love ornamental plants. So many plants are here." Jennie replied.

"That's it."

"Yes." Yeah."

Silent moment. "What would Alvian want to drink?" ask Jennie.

"Don't bother Jen, I've got mineral water anyway, I'll just be a minute. Just want to know your condition." said Alvian.

"I'm fine, sister." replied Jennie.

"Thank God then. I was worried." he replied.

Alvian's gaze looked different to Jennie's, but Jennie couldn't easily interpret it all. He did not want to easily bring a feeling that would only make his heart back crowded.
