"To the red and white saka, respect for movement!" The ceremonial commander presided over the ceremony today. All the students saluted the red and white flag that was fluttering on the pole in my school grounds. Accompanied by the national anthem 'indonesia raya' respect for the red and white also runs solemnly.
After an hour of flag ceremony on Monday morning, the students left the school field to return to their respective classes.
"Good morning, kids!" Mr. Burhan arrived at my class.
"For Sir!" answer the students simultaneously.
"Now open your religious book on the chapter of brotherhood of fellow Muslims. Okay, have?"
"Already Sir!" answer the students simultaneously.
"In this chapter we talk about the brotherhood of Muslims. In a hadith of Prophet Muhammad, it is mentioned 'A Muslim is a brother to other Muslims. He must not reject it and must not surrender it to those who want to harm him. Whoever looks after the needs of his brother, Allah will pay attention to his needs. Whoever makes trouble for a Muslim, Allah will make his troubles easy on the Day of Resurrection. And whoever covers the faults of a Muslim, Allah will cover up his guilt later on the Day of Resurrection, the hadith of Bukhari. The purpose of covering up the fault here is the disgrace of our brother, if we cover the disgrace of our fellow Muslims, not looking for his faults then Allah will also cover our disgrace in the hereafter."
"What about our non-Muslim brother sir, should we also cover up his disgrace?" Sharif asked Mr. Burhan.
"Of course, they are also our fellow human beings, equally God's created beings, we must also cover up his disgrace, he said, never look for his mistakes and we must always maintain good relations with them just as we maintain good relations with our Muslim brothers and sisters with boundaries that have been set in religion surely, as we must not follow their worship or eat and drink which is forbidden in our religion, their religion is not forbidden. There is no religious tolerance in such a thing." Mr. Burhan gave an explanation.
After two hours of study, the break bell rang. Students leave the classroom to the school cafeteria. Today I went to the cafeteria myself because Reno was sick, not going to school. Ujang was still in class did not want to go to the cafeteria.
I ordered mango juice and a bowl of meatballs, then looked for an empty table.
"Eyza, you grew up alone, where are your friends?" suddenly Brother Sarah greeted me.
"Eh, Brother. Reno did not go to school, Kak, is sick if Ujang no longer wants to go to the cafeteria."
"Oh, so!"
"Are you alone too?"
"Yes," answered Sister Sarah, smiling.
"That means we're both alone again, sister," I said to tease Sister Sarah, whether she understood what I meant or not.
"Yes, yes" answered Sarah.
"What if we share the solitude? My brother sat here" I said, smiling. Sarah was silent for a moment and laughed again.
"Haha okay, I'm sitting here. I'll have chicken noodles for a second."
"All right!" answer me with pleasure.
Before long, Ka Sarah came with a bowl of chicken noodles and a glass of avocado juice, then sat down in front of me.
"Good meal" I said, then we ate the food we ordered.
"Reno is sick?" ask Brother Sarah.
"I don't know exactly either, it looks like a symptom of thypus Sister."
"Oh yeah, pity Reno. You're not visiting?"
"God willing after school, Ujang and I want to go to his house, Brother."
"Oh yeah, can I come?"
"Of course you can."
"Well, I'll take Nancy to my classmate?"
"By my brother, I can."
We continued our lunch and soon the break bell was done.
The tettt! Tettttttt!
"Let me pay Eyza" said Sister Sarah.
"No, brother, I pay for it myself."
"It's okay, I don't want any debt, yesterday you paid for the chicken noodles and the ice dawet I ate."
"Loh, it's not a debt Kak, indeed I want to treat Brother Sarah really!"
"I also want to treat you today," said Sister Sarah then smiled at me. A smile that left me speechless.
"Well if you insist" I said then I returned his smile.
I waited for Sister Sarah to finish paying for our food, then we walked together to each other's classes. Throughout the trip we chatted sometimes interspersed with laughter.
"Oh Allah, if our class were still a few more kilos" I murmured inwardly.
We also arrived in front of Sarah's class.
"I go first, yes" said Brother Sarah.
"Yes, my brother, thank you."
"Well, you guys out of the cafeteria?" said Brother Salman who was suddenly behind me.
"Eh, yes it happened to meet in the cafeteria," said Brother Sarah to Brother Salman.
"Yes Kak, I just happened to meet, then I say yes Brother Sarah, Brother Salman."
"Yes" said Brother Sarah and Brother Salman together.
I immediately went a little run to my class, because the bell rang from there.
"You look familiar with that child Sarah?" ask Salman.
"Sometimes I help him if he's having trouble with lessons. I remember Faiz seeing him, so I helped."
"Oh, soooo!" said Brother Salman.
"Why indeed?" sak Sarah asked curious because only this time Kak Salman asked like that, especially there is no relationship between them.
"There's nothing, I'm just asking" replied Salman then smiling.
"Well if there's nothing, I'll go to my seat!"
"Yes, please!" answer Brother Salman.
The bell for school sounded.
"Sorry Eyza, you've been waiting a long time?"
anya Brother Sarah to me.
"No, brother!"
"Thank God. This is my friend Nancy!" Brother Sarah introduced her friend to me and Ujang.
We also shake hands with each other.
"Lancy!"
"Damey!"
"Lancy!"
"Jiang!"
"I've booked a taxi online, maybe soon to arrive" I said.
"Sorry, order in Faeza's name isn't it?" ask the taxi driver online.
"It's right sir!" my answer.
We got in the car immediately. I sat in front close to the driver, Sister Sarah and Nancy in the middle, and Ujang sat in the back.
"Let's stop for a second at the fruit shop?" Pinta Sister Sarah.
"Yes Brother!" my answer.
After buying the fruit, we continued our journey. Soon enough, we finally arrived in front of Reno's house, I opened the seatbelt and paid for a taxi.
"This is Eyza's money." Brother Sarah handed me fifty thousand rupiah.
"No, brother, let me pay."
"Well, you're paying again."
"It's okay that my pocket money is still intact."
"Hehehe I owe you again."
"Son't pay enough to buy me again."
"Hehehe okay siaaap!" said Brother Sarah.
"Hehehe I'm kidding Brother!"
We also headed to Reno's house.
"Assalamu'alaikum."
"Wa'alaikum greetings, for a moment" said a mother from inside the house, then opened the door for us.
"Well, there's aunty?" I said to that mother.
"Yes, you're his schoolmates?"
"Yes, we came to see you" sister Sarah replied to her mother Reno.
"Let's go in!"
We went in and sat in the living room. Soon after, Reno showed up.
"Hi Ren, how are you?" I asked Reno.
"Alhamdulillah, good Za!"
"Here sit my deck!" I said to take Reno to sit next to me.
"You're not afraid of Za?"
"Are you contagious?"
"No, you're just sick Za!"
"Do you know, you know me from a baby?"
"Already, you already know if you've met both, haduhhhh," said Brother Sarah stopped my conversation with Reno.
"Hehehehe sorry Brother," I said.
Reno sat down beside me. With her body still a little weak, she rested her shoulders on the sofa.
"Now how are you doing Ren?" ask Brother Sarah.
"Alhamdulillah has gone!"
"Alhamdulillaaaaah, oh yes meet my friend Nancy!"
"Hallo, I'm Nancy!"
"Hallo Brother, I'm Reno!"
Soon Reno's housekeeper came with a tray of four cups of warm sweet tea, placed them on the table, and let us drink.
"Please drink!"
"Thank you Bi" Reno said.
"Yes Den, excuse me to go to the kitchen again!"
"Yes Bi!"
"Let's have a drink, Brother Sarah and the others."
We also drank tea brought by Reno's housekeeper just now.
"Oh yes Ren, this is from Sister Sarah." I handed you a package of oranges and bananas.
"What's this? Don't bother, brother."
"It's okay, you're sick again" Sarah told Reno
"Thank you, brother!"
"Together Ren!"
"Kok, you didn't bring anything Za, Jang? Brother Sarah bring me fruit."
"I sent it through an online taxi" I replied.
"Really huh?"
"Seriously!"
"Indeed you want to send me what's Za?"
"Duren!"
"Seriously lo Za?"
"Yes, if kebon duren my grandfather has harvested."
Everyone laughed at my words. Sarah smiled and shook her head.
"You're the same Reno, a day doesn't joke it feels like there's less, huh?"
"Yes Kak, it's quiet there is no him, there is nothing I ledekin hahahaha!
"Basar lo Za, so happy to be my lead."
"Hehehe joked Ren, you're looking, aren't you laughing now?"
"Hehehe yes, sweat me now."
"No, it's true!"
"Yes we have come home Ren, you recover quickly yes," said Brother Sarah.
After saying goodbye to Reno's mother, we left Reno's house.
