Less Important Dinner

Continuing the previous one, dinner was done after all the preparations were over. Still the same as before, at this time there is still nothing special, and tonight still feels peaceful without any interference from outside. While a feud between Catherine and Leon ensues, Kai stays quiet in his place and eats silently, making his existence quiet and out of their attention. Elena also did not care about it because she felt that Kai would not be seen in this matter and chose to be an outsider.

'Hmm, more or less, I can guess if he doesn't like his father who left his family too long. I guess, I just stepped on a dangerous and unpleasant topic that I shouldn't have discussed in this place. Uh, I feel so guilty right now, ' Elena thought.

"No, it's okay. We do have a less harmonious family relationship, it's not your fault at all. Don't blame yourself for everything that's going on here" Catherine said to appease Elena.
