Long Queue

In another world, a modern world different from the world of Theresa et al., Noctis was inside a supermarket. He was in a long queue of cashiers while carrying a bag of crackers containing his groceries in the form of grilled sausages. She does this because Theresa fails to catch the prey, so instead she heads to the planet to buy their dinner.

Unfortunately, the supermarket where Noctis was located was very crowded and held him back until it became dark. Noctis could have gone straight away using his dimension ability to open the portal without having to pay at the cashier, but if he did that, it was a heist and not good to do. As a benevolent spirit, of course Noctis would not do something as evil as stealing. He'll just be barking.

‘Slow! Why is the cashier in this supermarket so slow? Can't this supermarket manager work on a faster person?’ Noctis grumbled inside. ‘I've taken groceries in this place. I want to return this and go to another store, but I don't want to leave the queue after a long wait.’

He would not blatantly say the ugliness of this place out loud or it would attract too much attention of everyone here. It would definitely not be convenient to make a fuss and be the center of attention. Just like the shadow he used to control, Noctis chose to stay low and not attract too much attention.
