Chapter.05 (Long time no see)

"Doctor why?" reproof Mika.

"It's okay .. Let's bring the patient in" said Luna. He and everyone who was there took Adrian to the ER for first aid, Joni looks very worried, he never let go of the hand of the friend, he was very worried, although no wound that bleed.

After completing a CT scan, Luna came out of the room to meet Joni. When she arrived outside the room, she could see Joni sitting down in the waiting chair. Upon realizing the Doctor's arrival, he hurriedly moved from his seat and stepped closer to Luna.

"How's my friend Doc?" joni asked with a worried look on his face.

"The condition is fine, the patient only has a mild concussion," said Luna then silent for a moment, it was so difficult to ask one thing, but as a doctor he had to be professional, "Have you contacted the family?"

"Be-yet Doc ... Adrian will definitely kill me, if I tell his family, I will take care of him myself and look after him Doc, after all his family lives outside the city" Joni said.

I don't know why Luna was relieved. She was not ready to meet her ex-husband's family. Then will he be ready to meet the former after all this time?

"Alright then, please take care of his administration because the patient will be immediately transferred to the treatment room."

After five hours have passed. Finally Adrian realized, he sat leaning on the hospital bed. Joni was still there faithfully accompanying him even though his mouth did not want to stop chewing ever since. The panic attack made Joni very hungry. The food that used to be for the patient is now even eaten by him.

Adrian was just silent, with a pale face he looked out the window that presented a night view in a foreign city that was no less beautiful at night. As a lover of art and architectural design, he loved the night view when the lights of skyscrapers adorn the darkness of the night.

"You know, the doctor who handled you earlier was very beautiful, baby you didn't see it earlier," Joni said with a mouthful of food.

Slowly Adrian turned to his best friend, "Finish the food in your mouth just talk."

The door of the room suddenly opened. Joni looks very enthusiastic, he got up from his seat but he sat back when he found out if the nurse came and not the Doctor he expected.

"Good night, I came to change the infusion and give you some medicine that you have to take now" the nurse told Adrian.

"Yes, thank you" said Adrian who still sounded weak.

"Sus, what doctor did you know why didn't you come here?" ask Joni suddenly.

The nurse seemed to think for a moment until she finally realized that Joni was Luna's doctor, "Oh that means Doctor Luna, she's in the operating room right now."

"Oh so, what a pity," said Joni who sounded limp.

Again Adrian's sense of hearing was disturbed when he heard the nurse mention Luna's name. He looked ahead, looking at the nurse with a full glance.

"Luna .. The doctor's name is Luna?" ask Adrian make sure.

"Yes Sir, Doctor Luna is the best neurosurgeon in our hospital, tomorrow the Doctor will check your condition" said the nurse.

Adrian just fell silent, then looked back out the window. His heart suddenly became troubled, because of a name. His eyes looked blank but his mind was rained on a million questions as a hunch began to speak, if it was possible that the nurse Luna meant was Luna who had once belonged to him.

Joni put down a tray full of breakfast for Adrian, "Eat, after you're done, I'm going home to the apartment to pick up some change of clothes and buy a lot of food, I'm tormented by the lack of food supply."

Adrian looked at Joni from toe to head, slowly shaking his head at the sight of the friend who always felt hungry, "Go, I can eat alone ... I don't want you to starve to death for too long here."

"All right then I'll go first, just for a second," said Joni then hurriedly grabbed her jacket and stepped out of the room.

To coincide with that, a nurse came in. Adrian frowned in surprise, because since yesterday he had never seen a doctor and until this morning, the one who checked his condition was only a nurse.

"Good morning Sir, I'll release your infusion because this afternoon you can go home" Mika said as she stood next to the hospital bed.

"Since yesterday only the nurse checked my condition, is the Doctor very busy?" adrian asked with a full glance.

Mika swallowed her saliva with all her might. It should have been Luna who came to check on the condition of the patient, but with unreasonable reasons, Luna instead told Mika to leave, Mika was confused as to what to answer.

Flashback.

"I Doc ... myself?" mika asked as Luna gave her the patient data.

"Yes Mika, please my legs are very sore" said Luna with a made-up expression of pain.

Mika looks confused because when it came earlier her superior's legs were fine and walked normally, but it feels so presumptuous if too many ask, "I-iya good Doc."

"Thank you Mika, this is my lunch that I bought."

Flashback.

"Oh that, Doctor Luna is very busy sir, but calm does not mean Doctor Luna abandoned the patient" said Mika.

Adrian was bowed for a moment, he became increasingly suspicious and felt that the Doctor had deliberately avoided him. Seeing Adrian who was just silent, Mika immediately removed the intravenous needle stuck in the back of Adrian's hand. After Mika finished hurrying out of the room, inexplicably Adrian's gaze was so scary to her.

By late afternoon, Adrian changed his hospital clothes with clothes brought by Joni. He stood in front of the window, facing down where vehicles and people passed by. Somehow he did not want to go, he was still curious about the figure of the Doctor named Luna.

"Until when you stand there, let's go home. Paper, pencils and rulers miss you so much" Joni said, chuckling to herself.

Amidst his sudden silence he rounded his eyes as he looked from the fifth-floor window of the ward, a woman who was walking in the hospital courtyard. He clasped both hands tightly, for some reason his chest felt tight.

There is a sense that cannot be explained after rediscovering the pieces of the heart that have been wasted. Without a second thought, Adrian walked quickly out of the room, leaving Joni looking confused.

"What's wrong with him? ... Let alone his brain shifted due to being hit by a stone, since yesterday his behavior is very strange," muttered Joni himself.

Adrian stepped out towards the place where he saw Luna. His breath was wheezing, but he did not care, he still walked half-run while shaking his gaze around. He did not know why he was so eager to meet the former, but when curiosity dominated, he could only continue to search by following the direction of his heart.

"That's it," said Adrian when what he was looking for he finally found too. He tried to catch his breath for a moment and then resumed his steps.

Luna was talking to someone in the parking lot. After the man left, he turned around to go back into the hospital building. But his steps are held back when the high body is blocked so inevitably he must stop.

He slowly raised his head to look at the person in front of him. Luna looked surprised, her eyes were round and she suddenly stepped back a few steps to get away from a man she had been avoiding since yesterday.

"Long time no see, Luna," said Adrian with a tone of voice and gaze that can not be explained. While Luna was just silently glued, her entire body felt limp until the sound seemed to stab into the deepest recesses of the heart, where a name had been buried with memories.

After a dramatic farewell. Finally fate brought them back together, as if everything had been designed in such a way. Until they meet again with different situations and conditions. They are both adults no longer as unstable as they were when they were teenagers. What did that meeting mean? Let destiny take over its role.
