EX: A Story That Doesn't Come

EX: A Story That Doesn't Come
Chapter.13 (Pulling)

The clock shows at seven o'clock. It's time he came home. Even if he doesn't know if he can sleep well tonight or not. The face of the ex who suddenly came with a confession of love, made him stuck at the intersection of dilemma.

It all felt so impossible to get back together. He still cannot forget how the two parents opposed their relationship and is now added to the match between Adrian and Mishel which is likely to continue.

Luna paused her steps for a moment, staring out the large window that led straight to the front yard of the hospital. He stared at the nanar while holding his hand. He felt tired because he had to wrestle with a heart and mind that did not want to be in line.

I always slap myself to quickly wake up and be all, but your shadow won't leave. This solitude torments me, we are separated from reality and the inevitable, inner Luna.

After a few moments of silence. He just remembered not seeing the father he almost hit this morning. Immediately he stepped back into the inpatient room.

Clamps.

Luna went into the treatment room. He could see the man sitting on the hospital bed. He felt relieved because the father finally realized as well and looked better even though his face was still pale.

"So, you're not sleeping?" asked Luna who continued to step closer and then sat on a chair beside the bed.

The father smiled at Luna, "It turns out you're a doctor?"

"Yes, sir, I'm really sorry about this afternoon."

"It's okay ... Father indeed there is no hope of life anymore, the father is also gone for eternity so survival is useless."

Luna looked teary-eyed, this sense of desperation of the Father, considering it to herself nine years ago, "Father mustn't say that, you must be healed."

The father turned back to Luna, "You're so nice, your parents must be so proud."

"My father died a long time ago, I became a doctor at his request. Now I only have a mother."

"You're not married?"

Luna was stunned for a moment, a question that was so confusing to her, "I was married at a young age .. But we parted ways."

"You are young and beautiful, I pray you get a good man."

"Thank you sir. Honestly, when I first saw my father, it was like seeing my own father. Please take a break." Luna stood up from her position, about to turn away, but the father called her back.

"Why sir?"

Luna smiled at the father, "He's the same sir."

"Is it true doctor i-it's your ex-wife(?)"

Joni seems to not believe Adrian's statement. He had been curious since this morning, after pressing, Adrian finally told him everything. He only told me if he was married at a young age, but he never showed a photo or just mentioned a name.

"You don't believe it?"

"It's not so .. I just didn't expect, she's so pretty." Joni began to grumble himself because he once said, that now Adrian's ex-wife must have been married, his body was widened and had three children.

After hearing his best friend's words. Now he began to understand, it is only natural that Adrian has never had and loved another woman because the former is so beautiful and charming always haunting, haunting, until the love was never lost despite the waves of separation for approximately nine years.

"So now you're sorry for divorcing him?"

"More than that .. since the beginning of the separation is not my wish, but forced by circumstances." Adrian remembers how Luna looked at him, a hateful gaze that seemed to drag him back to the dark times of their household.

Joni rubbed her face violently then grabbed the jar filled with potato chips. Hearing Adrian's story he became stressed and suddenly became hungry, "Even if you want to fix everything, what about your parents who obviously do not like Luna."

"I'll take care of it later .. at least once he can smile at me again." Adrian stared at the screen of the phone where an outdated photo was re-portraited, stored in the gallery. It was the only memory he had.

On the way to the apartment. Luna pulled out her phone from inside the bag as a shaky sound rang out. He frowned when he saw the screen of the phone with the name Mika.he did go home first from his assistant. Without delaying time, he received the phone call.

"Yes, hello?"

[Dok, the patient that the doctor brought this morning is now in critical condition, he was transferred to the ICU.]

"W-what! All right I'll be right there."

Luna turned the direction and stepped on the gas pedal deeper. Even though the old man was a stranger. But he soon found the figure of his father, who both experienced complications. Now as if he didn't want to repeat himself he wanted the old man to stay alive.
