It had been two weeks since the day of farewell. Twelfth grade students return to school for admission to UN grades and a description of their graduation or not.
And for two weeks that Mentari suffered longing for Endro. He was so happy for that day.
The day his friends cheered after finding out they graduated. Mentari revealed his smile, though he was unsure of his fate afterwards.
Someone pulled his arm until he was a little surprised. But after he found out that the man was Endro, the look on his face turned happy. He can't dodge it.
Their steps stopped at their usual place of spending time together for that long. Yeah, the back yard behind the school.
Endro's hand held both hands of Mentari. His eyes are trying to find a gap to get into the black bead that protected my eyelids in the eyes of Mentari. They stood and looked at each other there.
"How are you doing when you're not in school, Mentari? You're okay, right? Do they torture you every day? Are you in pain? Is anyone hurt?" Endro questioned him without pause and did not let the girl answer him one by one first.
"I'm fine, after seeing you again, End." A short answer from the dry lips of Mentari has represented all of Endro's questions.
"-you mean?" Concerns emanated clearly from the look in Endro's eyes. His palm held the cheek of Mentari. The girl's face really looked pale at that moment. And his body temperature was hot from normal temperature.
"Can we sit for a minute? I want to borrow your shoulder." Pintanya. He seemed powerless to say it.
Endro nodded. He brought Mentari's body to sit there, and pulled the girl's shoulder into his arms.
Mentari is silent. He was busy enjoying the comfort he felt in Endro's embrace. And to feel more, he purposely closed his eyes.
"I'm no longer strong, Endro..." The mentari began to sob. Something she doesn't want. He looked weak again in front of the man. But he really couldn't bear it.
"They're even inferior to treating me compared to treating their pet dog." Brother again. The sun is growing sobbing in Endro's chest.
Her tears soaked Endrodan's clothes and felt so warm on the man's chest.
"Hiks... Hix... Hix... I never even did anything low to Brother Juwita back then. What my mother bought was always two. One for me, and the other for her. But why do they refuse to treat me like a human? Where was my fault?"
Endro was unable to say anything. The pain that Mentari had poured out on him, also made a scar on his heart. He felt the tightness of hearing Mentari's sobs.
He knew the girl was not making it up. Because not only did he see the girl's body bruised, but he had also witnessed for himself how they treated Mentari.
"Starting..." Finally Endro opened his voice. He pulled back Mentari's shoulder to get out of his arms. Jemari Endro lifted Mentari's chin to look at the girl's face.
But Mentari did not dare to return Endro's eyes. He looked so embarrassed by his miserable state back then.
"Look at me..." Pinta Endro with a soft look.
"I'm ashamed..." Eagles bitter. His tears continued to harden, falling from his eyelids that looked moist.
"Why are you ashamed, hmm?" Tanya Endro increasingly trying to strengthen the heart of Mentari.
"Well, that knows." Ledek Endro confirmed Mentari's recognition. He only intended to comfort the girl in order to stop her tears.
"But he won't stop..." His words sounded grumbling. He was upset with himself who could not hold his heart in front of Endro.
"certainly could... Try to breathe deep air out of your nose, and then you take it out slowly through your mouth." Said Endro while gently rubbing Mrmentari's wet cheeks.
"My nose is stuck..." Sung again.
"Yes, you just wear this." Endro gave his handkerchief. With a sigh, Mentari wants to accept Endro's handkerchief.
"Starting..." Call Endro again after the girl starts to look calm.
"Hmm?"
"My dad had a little bit of savings for me to get into college. I'm going to college in XXX, can you wait for me until I graduate?" Endro was hard at the time. But he didn't want to laugh at Mentari.
Mentari. He said nothing to speak of Endro.
"Content?" Endro started to sound urgent.
"It's okay, End. I'm definitely capable, though." Mentari. Her tears rolled back down her cheeks. Perhaps that fear re-emerged in his heart.
"I promise... After that, I'll take you away from them. I won't let them hurt you much longer, Mentari. I'm gonna find a decent job for our future." Endro persuaded Mentari with words that he had not understood at all. But he knew, that was the only way that Mentari could be stoic and strong as long as she had not come to pick up the girl.
"I believe you..." Mentari is sure. He revealed his smile so that Endro did not worry too much about him. And he also knew, their age was not eligible for marriage even though they were allowed to marry at that age.
He would only think that he would live a life like Cinderella until Endro came to bring her his glass shoes.
Although the story was just a fairy tale, but he was so sure that it would happen to him.
"I probably won't have time to visit you before I leave. But my message is, you must remember Dad if trouble comes to you, and you can't handle it." Endro wanti-wanti.
Mentari. Endro again buried Endro's head into his chest. He gently rubbed the girl's shoulders until they both felt comfort for it.
