ENDRO, THE BODYGUARD

ENDRO, THE BODYGUARD
I GOT CAUGHT, YEAH...?

Is correct... He was the same Mentari, with the Mentari that Nini said at the time.

Foster child? What does it mean with Mentari just his adopted son Mr Alex? But, Mentari is indeed the child who was raised by Mr Alex?

And, what does it mean to say I'm a collector's boy, while he's not even Alex's son himself?

What is he hiding, actually?

The bell breaks chiming several times. But the sound did not make Endro budge from his seat. He continued to stare blankly at the shoulders of Mentari who was in front of him.

"I got caught, huh...?" Mentari broke the silence between the two of them. Yes, only they are visible in the room. And Endro had no idea at all that all of his classmates had been scrambling out to take hours off, except Mentari.

The questions that controlled his mind about the girl in front of him, made him ignore his world.

"What?" Endro asked, looking left, right and behind.

"Basic stalker..." Maki Mentari again. He did not look at the Endro he was talking to. Mentari also just stared pus in front of him.

"Are you talking to me?" Endro asked again after he regained control of himself.

"Who else am I going to talk to? In this room, there is no one else but the two of us. You and me." Ketus Mentari while lifting his chair 180 degrees and facing Endro.

"-You mean, say I'm a stalker what?" Endro was nervous. His gaze shrieked as My eyes Mentari stared in her bead.

"You think I don't know, huh? You wimp... Just how dare you hide behind that boulder." Gut the girl. His face was still paled, and his body still looked so weak.

Endro's eyes rounded for a moment. His heart was pounding at the suddenness of Mentari's words. He was completely unaware that Mentari knew he was there that afternoon.

"Then... I should what?" Endro's getting nervous.

"I thought you'd be a hero to me. An angel of form, who will save me from the cruelty of those humans... Apparently, no... It's true apparently... Hoping on humans, we will only accept disappointment." Mentari said with reddened eyes.

Mentari turned his chair and turned back to Endro.

"Someday, I'll be a hero to you. Take you out of all your misery... And if I could, I'd be right next to you..." Endro's Pledge.

"Omong empty..." Ketus Mentari without looking. He hid his tears again.

"No...I'll prove it to you. Just so you qualify from me..." Endro made the requirements.

"What conditions?" The sun narrows both of his eyebrows.

"Never cry behind my back..." Pinta Endro conveyed his terms.

"Let me know when it's time for me to save you..." Sahut Endro.

"You'll see the ugliest side of me..." Mentari said. He objected to Endro's request, which he felt was impossible.

"It is precisely... Lying about your feelings is the worst thing about you, Mentari. Remember that... There are a lot of people who still care about you. And you don't have to hide it all from them." Endro assured him.

"I'll work it out..." A faint tone was still heard from his voice. Although he started the conversation between them, but Mentari still looks prestige to be relaxed with Endro.

Endro smiled faintly, he was familiar with the situation back then. The mentari was embarrassed, he thought.

"Why don't you ask?" Mentari is back to sound.

"Ask what?" Endro looks confused.

"About me, after you've seen it all." Mentari said dismissing the confusion that he believed at the time adorned Endro's face.

"I asked..."

The sun turned back on his body, without turning the chair he was sitting on. "When? I never heard of it..." The mentari seemed to be trying to remember.

"Every day. Ever since I saw you beaten..." Endro. "You never told me, or anyone but Nini, did you? And even Nini wouldn't share it with me.

I keep asking. What was? Wh why? And how you are as long as you are not present without evidence. You messed up my adrenaline. You make me feel guilty all the time, remembering about you."

The school bells again chimed signaling the break time was over.

Mentari was still stunned in his position hearing Endro's speech. He tried to trace the honesty implied in the man's face.

For a moment, he came back to his consciousness. All the members of his class filled the room again. But they did not realize, that Murai in their class had been mute to send the little girl they knew. They did not realize that the two men had dared to speak much well behind their backs.
